1	אַשְׁרֵ֥י תְמִֽימֵי־ דָ֑רֶךְ הַֽ֝הֹלְכִ֗ים בְּתוֹרַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃	Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD!	Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
2	אַ֭שְׁרֵי נֹצְרֵ֥י עֵדֹתָ֗יו בְּכָל־ לֵ֥ב יִדְרְשֽׁוּהוּ׃	Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,	Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—
3	אַ֭ף לֹֽא־ פָעֲל֣וּ עַוְלָ֑ה בִּדְרָכָ֥יו הָלָֽכוּ׃	who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!	they do no wrong but follow his ways.
4	אַ֭תָּה צִוִּ֥יתָה פִקֻּדֶ֗יךָ לִשְׁמֹ֥ר מְאֹֽד׃	You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.	You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.
5	אַ֭חֲלַי יִכֹּ֥נוּ דְרָכָ֗י לִשְׁמֹ֥ר חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!	Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!
6	אָ֥ז לֹא־ אֵב֑וֹשׁ בְּ֝הַבִּיטִ֗י אֶל־ כָּל־ מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.	Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
7	א֭וֹדְךָ בְּיֹ֣שֶׁר לֵבָ֑ב בְּ֝לָמְדִ֗י מִשְׁפְּטֵ֥י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules.	I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.
8	אֶת־ חֻקֶּ֥יךָ אֶשְׁמֹ֑ר אַֽל־ תַּעַזְבֵ֥נִי עַד־ מְאֹֽד׃	I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me!	I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
9	בַּמֶּ֣ה יְזַכֶּה־ נַּ֭עַר אֶת־ אָרְח֑וֹ לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.	How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
10	בְּכָל־ לִבִּ֥י דְרַשְׁתִּ֑יךָ אַל־ תַּ֝שְׁגֵּ֗נִי מִמִּצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!	I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
11	בְּ֭לִבִּי אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ לְ֝מַ֗עַן לֹ֣א אֶֽחֱטָא־ לָֽךְ׃	I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.	I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
12	בָּר֖וּךְ אַתָּ֥ה יְהוָ֗ה לַמְּדֵ֥נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes!	Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees.
13	בִּשְׂפָתַ֥י סִפַּ֑רְתִּי כֹּ֝֗ל מִשְׁפְּטֵי־ פִֽיךָ׃	With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.	With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.
14	בְּדֶ֖רֶךְ עֵדְוֺתֶ֥יךָ שַׂ֗שְׂתִּי כְּעַ֣ל כָּל־ הֽוֹן׃	In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.	I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
15	בְּפִקֻּדֶ֥יךָ אָשִׂ֑יחָה וְ֝אַבִּ֗יטָה אֹרְחֹתֶֽיךָ׃	I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.	I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
16	בְּחֻקֹּתֶ֥יךָ אֶֽשְׁתַּעֲשָׁ֑ע לֹ֭א אֶשְׁכַּ֣ח דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃	I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.	I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
17	גְּמֹ֖ל עַֽל־ עַבְדְּךָ֥ אֶֽחְיֶ֗ה וְאֶשְׁמְרָ֥ה דְבָרֶֽךָ׃	Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word.	Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word.
18	גַּל־ עֵינַ֥י וְאַבִּ֑יטָה נִ֝פְלָא֗וֹת מִתּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.	Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
19	גֵּ֣ר אָנֹכִ֣י בָאָ֑רֶץ אַל־ תַּסְתֵּ֥ר מִ֝מֶּ֗נִּי מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me!	I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.
20	גָּרְסָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֣י לְתַאֲבָ֑ה אֶֽל־ מִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ בְכָל־ עֵֽת׃	My soul is consumed with longing for your rules at all times.	My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.
21	גָּ֭עַרְתָּ זֵדִ֣ים אֲרוּרִ֑ים הַ֝שֹּׁגִים מִמִּצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from your commandments.	You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands.
22	גַּ֣ל מֵֽ֭עָלַי חֶרְפָּ֣ה וָב֑וּז כִּ֖י עֵדֹתֶ֣יךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃	Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies.	Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
23	גַּ֤ם יָֽשְׁב֣וּ שָׂ֭רִים בִּ֣י נִדְבָּ֑רוּ עַ֝בְדְּךָ֗ יָשִׂ֥יחַ בְּחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.	Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
24	גַּֽם־ עֵ֭דֹתֶיךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָ֗י אַנְשֵׁ֥י עֲצָתִֽי׃	Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors.	Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
25	דָּֽבְקָ֣ה לֶעָפָ֣ר נַפְשִׁ֑י חַ֝יֵּ֗נִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word!	I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
26	דְּרָכַ֣י סִ֭פַּרְתִּי וַֽתַּעֲנֵ֗נִי לַמְּדֵ֥נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	When I told of my ways, you answered me; teach me your statutes!	I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.
27	דֶּֽרֶךְ־ פִּקּוּדֶ֥יךָ הֲבִינֵ֑נִי וְ֝אָשִׂ֗יחָה בְּנִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃	Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous works.	Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.
28	דָּלְפָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי מִתּוּגָ֑ה קַ֝יְּמֵ֗נִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word!	My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
29	דֶּֽרֶךְ־ שֶׁ֭קֶר הָסֵ֣ר מִמֶּ֑נִּי וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ֥ חָנֵּֽנִי׃	Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!	Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.
30	דֶּֽרֶךְ־ אֱמוּנָ֥ה בָחָ֑רְתִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ שִׁוִּֽיתִי׃	I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me.	I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.
31	דָּבַ֥קְתִּי בְעֵֽדְוֺתֶ֑יךָ יְ֝הוָ֗ה אַל־ תְּבִישֵֽׁנִי׃	I cling to your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame!	I hold fast to your statutes, LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
32	דֶּֽרֶךְ־ מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ אָר֑וּץ כִּ֖י תַרְחִ֣יב לִבִּֽי׃	I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart!	I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.
33	הוֹרֵ֣נִי יְ֭הוָה דֶּ֥רֶךְ חֻקֶּ֗יךָ וְאֶצְּרֶ֥נָּה עֵֽקֶב׃	Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end.	Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.
34	הֲ֭בִינֵנִי וְאֶצְּרָ֥ה תֽוֹרָתֶ֗ךָ וְאֶשְׁמְרֶ֥נָּה בְכָל־ לֵֽב׃	Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.	Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
35	הַ֭דְרִיכֵנִי בִּנְתִ֣יב מִצְוֺתֶ֑יךָ כִּי־ ב֥וֹ חָפָֽצְתִּי׃	Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.	Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
36	הַט־ לִ֭בִּי אֶל־ עֵדְוֺתֶ֗יךָ וְאַ֣ל אֶל־ בָּֽצַע׃	Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain!	Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
37	הַעֲבֵ֣ר עֵ֭ינַי מֵרְא֣וֹת שָׁ֑וְא בִּדְרָכֶ֥ךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.	Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
38	הָקֵ֣ם לְ֭עַבְדְּךָ אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ אֲ֝שֶׁ֗ר לְיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃	Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared.	Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
39	הַעֲבֵ֣ר חֶ֭רְפָּתִי אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָגֹ֑רְתִּי כִּ֖י מִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ טוֹבִֽים׃	Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good.	Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.
40	הִ֭נֵּה תָּאַ֣בְתִּי לְפִקֻּדֶ֑יךָ בְּצִדְקָתְךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life!	How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
41	וִֽיבֹאֻ֣נִי חֲסָדֶ֣ךָ יְהוָ֑ה תְּ֝שֽׁוּעָתְךָ֗ כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃	Let your steadfast love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise;	May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise;
42	וְאֶֽעֱנֶ֣ה חֹרְפִ֣י דָבָ֑ר כִּֽי־ בָ֝טַחְתִּי בִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	then shall I have an answer for him who taunts me, for I trust in your word.	then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
43	וְֽאַל־ תַּצֵּ֬ל מִפִּ֣י דְבַר־ אֱמֶ֣ת עַד־ מְאֹ֑ד כִּ֖י לְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֣ךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in your rules.	Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
44	וְאֶשְׁמְרָ֖ה תוֹרָתְךָ֥ תָמִ֗יד לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃	I will keep your law continually, forever and ever,	I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
45	וְאֶתְהַלְּכָ֥ה בָרְחָבָ֑ה כִּ֖י פִקֻּדֶ֣יךָ דָרָֽשְׁתִּי׃	and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.	I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
46	וַאֲדַבְּרָ֣ה בְ֭עֵדֹתֶיךָ נֶ֥גֶד מְלָכִ֗ים וְלֹ֣א אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃	I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame,	I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
47	וְאֶשְׁתַּֽעֲשַׁ֥ע בְּמִצְוֺתֶ֗יךָ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָהָֽבְתִּי׃	for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love.	for I delight in your commands because I love them.
48	וְאֶשָּֽׂא־ כַפַּ֗י אֶֽל־ מִ֭צְוֺתֶיךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָהָ֗בְתִּי וְאָשִׂ֥יחָה בְחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.	I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.
49	זְכֹר־ דָּבָ֥ר לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ עַ֝֗ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִֽחַלְתָּֽנִי׃	Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope.	Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.
50	זֹ֣את נֶחָמָתִ֣י בְעָנְיִ֑י כִּ֖י אִמְרָתְךָ֣ חִיָּֽתְנִי׃	This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.	My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
51	זֵ֭דִים הֱלִיצֻ֣נִי עַד־ מְאֹ֑ד מִ֝תּֽוֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א נָטִֽיתִי׃	The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law.	The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.
52	זָ֘כַ֤רְתִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶ֖יךָ מֵעוֹלָ֥ם ׀ יְהוָ֗ה וָֽאֶתְנֶחָֽם׃	When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD.	I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them.
53	זַלְעָפָ֣ה אֲ֭חָזַתְנִי מֵרְשָׁעִ֑ים עֹ֝זְבֵ֗י תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law.	Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.
54	זְ֭מִרוֹת הָֽיוּ־ לִ֥י חֻקֶּ֗יךָ בְּבֵ֣ית מְגוּרָֽי׃	Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning.	Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.
55	זָ֘כַ֤רְתִּי בַלַּ֣יְלָה שִׁמְךָ֣ יְהוָ֑ה וָֽ֝אֶשְׁמְרָ֗ה תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law.	In the night, LORD, I remember your name, that I may keep your law.
56	זֹ֥את הָֽיְתָה־ לִּ֑י כִּ֖י פִקֻּדֶ֣יךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃	This blessing has fallen to me, that I have kept your precepts.	This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
57	חֶלְקִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אָמַ֗רְתִּי לִשְׁמֹ֥ר דְּבָרֶֽיךָ׃	The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words.	You are my portion, LORD; I have promised to obey your words.
58	חִלִּ֣יתִי פָנֶ֣יךָ בְכָל־ לֵ֑ב חָ֝נֵּ֗נִי כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃	I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.	I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
59	חִשַּׁ֥בְתִּי דְרָכָ֑י וָאָשִׁ֥יבָה רַ֝גְלַ֗י אֶל־ עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃	When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies;	I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
60	חַ֭שְׁתִּי וְלֹ֣א הִתְמַהְמָ֑הְתִּי לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments.	I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.
61	חֶבְלֵ֣י רְשָׁעִ֣ים עִוְּדֻ֑נִי תּֽ֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law.	Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.
62	חֲצֽוֹת־ לַ֗יְלָה אָ֭קוּם לְהוֹד֣וֹת לָ֑ךְ עַ֝֗ל מִשְׁפְּטֵ֥י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	At midnight I rise to praise you, because of your righteous rules.	At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
63	חָבֵ֣ר אָ֭נִי לְכָל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְרֵא֑וּךָ וּ֝לְשֹׁמְרֵ֗י פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts.	I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.
64	חַסְדְּךָ֣ יְ֭הוָה מָלְאָ֥ה הָאָ֗רֶץ חֻקֶּ֥יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃	The earth, O LORD, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes!	The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees.
65	ט֭וֹב עָשִׂ֣יתָ עִֽם־ עַבְדְּךָ֑ יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃	You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word.	Do good to your servant according to your word, LORD.
66	ט֤וּב טַ֣עַם וָדַ֣עַת לַמְּדֵ֑נִי כִּ֖י בְמִצְוֺתֶ֣יךָ הֶאֱמָֽנְתִּי׃	Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.	Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.
67	טֶ֣רֶם אֶ֭עֱנֶה אֲנִ֣י שֹׁגֵ֑ג וְ֝עַתָּ֗ה אִמְרָתְךָ֥ שָׁמָֽרְתִּי׃	Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.	Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.
68	טוֹב־ אַתָּ֥ה וּמֵטִ֗יב לַמְּדֵ֥נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.	You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.
69	טָפְל֬וּ עָלַ֣י שֶׁ֣קֶר זֵדִ֑ים אֲ֝נִ֗י בְּכָל־ לֵ֤ב ׀ אֱצֹּ֬ר פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	The insolent smear me with lies, but with my whole heart I keep your precepts;	Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart.
70	טָפַ֣שׁ כַּחֵ֣לֶב לִבָּ֑ם אֲ֝נִ֗י תּוֹרָתְךָ֥ שִֽׁעֲשָֽׁעְתִּי׃	their heart is unfeeling like fat, but I delight in your law.	Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law.
71	טֽוֹב־ לִ֥י כִֽי־ עֻנֵּ֑יתִי לְ֝מַ֗עַן אֶלְמַ֥ד חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.	It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
72	טֽוֹב־ לִ֥י תֽוֹרַת־ פִּ֑יךָ מֵ֝אַלְפֵ֗י זָהָ֥ב וָכָֽסֶף׃	The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.	The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
73	יָדֶ֣יךָ עָ֭שׂוּנִי וַֽיְכוֹנְנ֑וּנִי הֲ֝בִינֵ֗נִי וְאֶלְמְדָ֥ה מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃	Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.	Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.
74	יְ֭רֵאֶיךָ יִרְא֣וּנִי וְיִשְׂמָ֑חוּ כִּ֖י לִדְבָרְךָ֣ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in your word.	May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.
75	יָדַ֣עְתִּי יְ֭הוָה כִּי־ צֶ֣דֶק מִשְׁפָּטֶ֑יךָ וֶ֝אֱמוּנָ֗ה עִנִּיתָֽנִי׃	I know, O LORD, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.	I know, LORD, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76	יְהִי־ נָ֣א חַסְדְּךָ֣ לְנַחֲמֵ֑נִי כְּאִמְרָתְךָ֥ לְעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃	Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.	May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
77	יְבֹא֣וּנִי רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ וְאֶֽחְיֶ֑ה כִּי־ תֽ֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ שַֽׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃	Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.	Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.
78	יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ זֵ֭דִים כִּי־ שֶׁ֣קֶר עִוְּת֑וּנִי אֲ֝נִ֗י אָשִׂ֥יחַ בְּפִקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃	Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.	May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.
79	יָשׁ֣וּבוּ לִ֣י יְרֵאֶ֑יךָ וידעו [וְ֝יֹדְעֵ֗י] (עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃)	Let those who fear you turn to me, that they may know your testimonies.	May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.
80	יְהִֽי־ לִבִּ֣י תָמִ֣ים בְּחֻקֶּ֑יךָ לְ֝מַ֗עַן לֹ֣א אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃	May my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame!	May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.
81	כָּלְתָ֣ה לִתְשׁוּעָתְךָ֣ נַפְשִׁ֑י לִדְבָרְךָ֥ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word.	My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.
82	כָּל֣וּ עֵ֭ינַי לְאִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ לֵ֝אמֹ֗ר מָתַ֥י תְּֽנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃	My eyes long for your promise; I ask, “When will you comfort me?”	My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, “When will you comfort me?”
83	כִּֽי־ הָ֭יִיתִי כְּנֹ֣אד בְּקִיט֑וֹר חֻ֝קֶּ֗יךָ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I have not forgotten your statutes.	Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees.
84	כַּמָּ֥ה יְמֵֽי־ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ מָתַ֬י תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה בְרֹדְפַ֣י מִשְׁפָּֽט׃	How long must your servant endure? When will you judge those who persecute me?	How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors?
85	כָּֽרוּ־ לִ֣י זֵדִ֣ים שִׁיח֑וֹת אֲ֝שֶׁ֗ר לֹ֣א כְתוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	The insolent have dug pitfalls for me; they do not live according to your law.	The arrogant dig pits to trap me, contrary to your law.
86	כָּל־ מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ אֱמוּנָ֑ה שֶׁ֖קֶר רְדָפ֣וּנִי עָזְרֵֽנִי׃	All your commandments are sure; they persecute me with falsehood; help me!	All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for I am being persecuted without cause.
87	כִּ֭מְעַט כִּלּ֣וּנִי בָאָ֑רֶץ וַ֝אֲנִ֗י לֹא־ עָזַ֥בְתִּי פִקֻּודֶֽיךָ׃‪‬	They have almost made an end of me on earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.	They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.
88	כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ חַיֵּ֑נִי וְ֝אֶשְׁמְרָ֗ה עֵד֥וּת פִּֽיךָ׃	In your steadfast love give me life, that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth.	In your unfailing love preserve my life, that I may obey the statutes of your mouth.
89	לְעוֹלָ֥ם יְהוָ֑ה דְּ֝בָרְךָ֗ נִצָּ֥ב בַּשָּׁמָֽיִם׃	Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.	Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
90	לְדֹ֣ר וָ֭דֹר אֱמֽוּנָתֶ֑ךָ כּוֹנַ֥נְתָּ אֶ֝֗רֶץ וַֽתַּעֲמֹֽד׃	Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.	Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.
91	לְֽ֭מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ עָמְד֣וּ הַיּ֑וֹם כִּ֖י הַכֹּ֣ל עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃	By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants.	Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.
92	לוּלֵ֣י ת֭וֹרָתְךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָ֑י אָ֝֗ז אָבַ֥דְתִּי בְעָנְיִֽי׃	If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.	If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
93	לְ֭עוֹלָם לֹא־ אֶשְׁכַּ֣ח פִּקּוּדֶ֑יךָ כִּ֥י בָ֝֗ם חִיִּיתָֽנִי׃	I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.	I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.

95	לִ֤י קִוּ֣וּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים לְאַבְּדֵ֑נִי עֵ֝דֹתֶ֗יךָ אֶתְבּוֹנָֽן׃	The wicked lie in wait to destroy me, but I consider your testimonies.	The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes.
96	לְֽכָל תִּ֭כְלָה רָאִ֣יתִי קֵ֑ץ רְחָבָ֖ה מִצְוָתְךָ֣ מְאֹֽד׃	I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.	To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless.
97	מָֽה־ אָהַ֥בְתִּי תוֹרָתֶ֑ךָ כָּל־ הַ֝יּ֗וֹם הִ֣יא שִׂיחָתִֽי׃	Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.	Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
98	מֵ֭אֹ֣יְבַי תְּחַכְּמֵ֣נִי מִצְוֺתֶ֑ךָ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם הִיא־ לִֽי׃	Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me.	Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies.
99	מִכָּל־ מְלַמְּדַ֥י הִשְׂכַּ֑לְתִּי כִּ֥י עֵ֝דְוֺתֶ֗יךָ שִׂ֣יחָה לִֽֿי׃	I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.	I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.

108	נִדְב֣וֹת פִּ֭י רְצֵה־ נָ֣א יְהוָ֑ה וּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃	Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules.	Accept, LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.
109	נַפְשִׁ֣י בְכַפִּ֣י תָמִ֑יד וְ֝תֽוֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	I hold my life in my hand continually, but I do not forget your law.	Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.
110	נָתְנ֬וּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים פַּ֣ח לִ֑י וּ֝מִפִּקּוּדֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א תָעִֽיתִי׃	The wicked have laid a snare for me, but I do not stray from your precepts.	The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111	נָחַ֣לְתִּי עֵדְוֺתֶ֣יךָ לְעוֹלָ֑ם כִּֽי־ שְׂשׂ֖וֹן לִבִּ֣י הֵֽמָּה׃	Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.	Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
112	נָטִ֣יתִי לִ֭בִּי לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת חֻקֶּ֗יךָ לְעוֹלָ֥ם עֵֽקֶב׃	I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end.	My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.

116	סָמְכֵ֣נִי כְאִמְרָתְךָ֣ וְאֶֽחְיֶ֑ה וְאַל־ תְּ֝בִישֵׁ֗נִי מִשִּׂבְרִֽי׃	Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope!	Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.
117	סְעָדֵ֥נִי וְאִוָּשֵׁ֑עָה וְאֶשְׁעָ֖ה בְחֻקֶּ֣יךָ תָמִֽיד׃	Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually!	Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees.
118	סָ֭לִיתָ כָּל־ שׁוֹגִ֣ים מֵחֻקֶּ֑יךָ כִּי־ שֶׁ֝֗קֶר תַּרְמִיתָֽם׃	You spurn all who go astray from your statutes, for their cunning is in vain.	You reject all who stray from your decrees, for their delusions come to nothing.
119	סִגִ֗ים הִשְׁבַּ֥תָּ כָל־ רִשְׁעֵי־ אָ֑רֶץ לָ֝כֵ֗ן אָהַ֥בְתִּי עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃	All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross, therefore I love your testimonies.	All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross; therefore I love your statutes.
120	סָמַ֣ר מִפַּחְדְּךָ֣ בְשָׂרִ֑י וּֽמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ יָרֵֽאתִי׃	My flesh trembles for fear of you, and I am afraid of your judgments.	My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.

123	עֵ֭ינַי כָּל֣וּ לִֽישׁוּעָתֶ֑ךָ וּלְאִמְרַ֥ת צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	My eyes long for your salvation and for the fulfillment of your righteous promise.	My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.
124	עֲשֵׂ֖ה עִם־ עַבְדְּךָ֥ כְחַסְדֶּ֗ךָ וְחֻקֶּ֥יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃	Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love, and teach me your statutes.	Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees.

129	פְּלָא֥וֹת עֵדְוֺתֶ֑יךָ עַל־ כֵּ֝֗ן נְצָרָ֥תַם נַפְשִֽׁי׃	Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them.	Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them.

135	פָּ֭נֶיךָ הָאֵ֣ר בְּעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝לַמְּדֵ֗נִי אֶת־ חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes.	Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees.
136	פַּלְגֵי־ מַ֭יִם יָרְד֣וּ עֵינָ֑י עַ֝֗ל לֹא־ שָׁמְר֥וּ תוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃	My eyes shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law.	Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.
137	צַדִּ֣יק אַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה וְ֝יָשָׁ֗ר מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃	Righteous are you, O LORD, and right are your rules.	You are righteous, LORD, and your laws are right.
138	מְאֹֽד׃ צֶ֣דֶק עֵדֹתֶ֑יךָ וֶֽאֱמוּנָ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃	You have appointed your testimonies in righteousness and in all faithfulness.	The statutes you have laid down are righteous; they are fully trustworthy.
139	צִמְּתַ֥תְנִי קִנְאָתִ֑י כִּֽי־ שָׁכְח֖וּ דְבָרֶ֣יךָ צָרָֽי׃	My zeal consumes me, because my foes forget your words.	My zeal wears me out, for my enemies ignore your words.
140	צְרוּפָ֖ה אִמְרָתְךָ֥ מְאֹ֗ד וְֽעַבְדְּךָ֥ אֲהֵבָֽהּ׃	Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it.	Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.
141	צָעִ֣יר אָנֹכִ֣י וְנִבְזֶ֑ה פִּ֝קֻּדֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	I am small and despised, yet I do not forget your precepts.	Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts.
142	צִדְקָתְךָ֣ צֶ֣דֶק לְעוֹלָ֑ם וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ֥ אֱמֶֽת׃	Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law is true.	Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true.
143	צַר־ וּמָצ֥וֹק מְצָא֑וּנִי מִ֝צְוֺתֶ֗יךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃	Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight.	Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight.
144	צֶ֖דֶק עֵדְוֺתֶ֥יךָ לְעוֹלָ֗ם הֲבִינֵ֥נִי וְאֶחְיֶֽה׃	Your testimonies are righteous forever; give me understanding that I may live.	Your statutes are always righteous; give me understanding that I may live.

147	קִדַּ֣מְתִּי בַ֭נֶּשֶׁף וָאֲשַׁוֵּ֑עָה [לדבריך] (לִדְבָרְךָ֥) יִחָֽלְתִּי׃	I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words.	I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word.

150	קָ֭רְבוּ רֹדְפֵ֣י זִמָּ֑ה מִתּוֹרָתְךָ֥ רָחָֽקוּ׃	They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose; they are far from your law.	Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.
151	קָר֣וֹב אַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה וְֽכָל־ מִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ אֱמֶֽת׃	But you are near, O LORD, and all your commandments are true.	Yet you are near, LORD, and all your commands are true.
152	קֶ֣דֶם יָ֭דַעְתִּי מֵעֵדֹתֶ֑יךָ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם יְסַדְתָּֽם׃	Long have I known from your testimonies that you have founded them forever.	Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.
153	רְאֵֽה־ עָנְיִ֥י וְחַלְּצֵ֑נִי כִּי־ תֽ֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	Look on my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget your law.	Look on my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.
154	רִיבָ֣ה רִ֭יבִי וּגְאָלֵ֑נִי לְאִמְרָתְךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to your promise!	Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.
155	רָח֣וֹק מֵרְשָׁעִ֣ים יְשׁוּעָ֑ה כִּֽי־ חֻ֝קֶּיךָ לֹ֣א דָרָֽשׁוּ׃	Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your statutes.	Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek out your decrees.
156	רַחֲמֶ֖יךָ רַבִּ֥ים ׀ יְהוָ֑ה כְּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥יךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	Great is your mercy, O LORD; give me life according to your rules.	Your compassion, LORD, is great; preserve my life according to your laws.
157	רַ֭בִּים רֹדְפַ֣י וְצָרָ֑י מֵ֝עֵדְוֺתֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א נָטִֽיתִי׃	Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, but I do not swerve from your testimonies.	Many are the foes who persecute me, but I have not turned from your statutes.
158	רָאִ֣יתִי בֹ֭גְדִים וָֽאֶתְקוֹטָ֑טָה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִ֝מְרָתְךָ֗ לֹ֣א שָׁמָֽרוּ׃	I look at the faithless with disgust, because they do not keep your commands.	I look on the faithless with loathing, for they do not obey your word.
159	רְ֭אֵה כִּי־ פִקּוּדֶ֣יךָ אָהָ֑בְתִּי יְ֝הוָ֗ה כְּֽחַסְדְּךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃	Consider how I love your precepts! Give me life according to your steadfast love.	See how I love your precepts; preserve my life, LORD, in accordance with your love.
160	רֹאשׁ־ דְּבָרְךָ֥ אֱמֶ֑ת וּ֝לְעוֹלָ֗ם כָּל־ מִשְׁפַּ֥ט צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.	All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
161	שָׂ֭רִים רְדָפ֣וּנִי חִנָּ֑ם [ומדבריך] (וּ֝מִדְּבָרְךָ֗) פָּחַ֥ד לִבִּֽי׃	Princes persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words.	Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word.
162	שָׂ֣שׂ אָ֭נֹכִֽי עַל־ אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ כְּ֝מוֹצֵ֗א שָׁלָ֥ל רָֽב׃	I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil.	I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil.
163	שֶׁ֣קֶר שָׂ֭נֵאתִי וַאֲתַעֵ֑בָה תּוֹרָתְךָ֥ אָהָֽבְתִּי׃	I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your law.	I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law.
164	שֶׁ֣בַע בַּ֭יּוֹם הִלַּלְתִּ֑יךָ עַ֝֗ל מִשְׁפְּטֵ֥י צִדְקֶֽךָ׃	Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous rules.	Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws.
165	שָׁל֣וֹם רָ֭ב לְאֹהֲבֵ֣י תוֹרָתֶ֑ךָ וְאֵֽין־ לָ֥מוֹ מִכְשֽׁוֹל׃	Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.	Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
166	שִׂבַּ֣רְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֣ יְהוָ֑ה וּֽמִצְוֺתֶ֥יךָ עָשִֽׂיתִי׃	I hope for your salvation, O LORD, and I do your commandments.	I wait for your salvation, LORD, and I follow your commands.
167	שָֽׁמְרָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי עֵדֹתֶ֑יךָ וָאֹהֲבֵ֥ם מְאֹֽד׃	My soul keeps your testimonies; I love them exceedingly.	I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly.
168	שָׁמַ֣רְתִּי פִ֭קּוּדֶיךָ וְעֵדֹתֶ֑יךָ כִּ֖י כָל־ דְּרָכַ֣י נֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃	I keep your precepts and testimonies, for all my ways are before you.	I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you.
169	תִּקְרַ֤ב רִנָּתִ֣י לְפָנֶ֣יךָ יְהוָ֑ה כִּדְבָרְךָ֥ הֲבִינֵֽנִי׃	Let my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word!	May my cry come before you, LORD; give me understanding according to your word.
170	תָּב֣וֹא תְּחִנָּתִ֣י לְפָנֶ֑יךָ כְּ֝אִמְרָתְךָ֗ הַצִּילֵֽנִי׃	Let my plea come before you; deliver me according to your word.	May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise.
171	תַּבַּ֣עְנָה שְׂפָתַ֣י תְּהִלָּ֑ה כִּ֖י תְלַמְּדֵ֣נִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃	My lips will pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes.	May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees.
172	תַּ֣עַן לְ֭שׁוֹנִי אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ כִּ֖י כָל־ מִצְוֺתֶ֣יךָ צֶּֽדֶק׃	My tongue will sing of your word, for all your commandments are right.	May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous.
173	תְּהִֽי־ יָדְךָ֥ לְעָזְרֵ֑נִי כִּ֖י פִקּוּדֶ֣יךָ בָחָֽרְתִּי׃	Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.	May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
174	תָּאַ֣בְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֣ יְהוָ֑ה וְ֝תֽוֹרָתְךָ֗ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃	I long for your salvation, O LORD, and your law is my delight.	I long for your salvation, LORD, and your law gives me delight.
175	תְּֽחִי־ נַ֭פְשִׁי וּֽתְהַֽלְלֶ֑ךָּ וּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶ֥ךָ יַעֲזְרֻֽנִי׃	Let my soul live and praise you, and let your rules help me.	Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me.
176	תָּעִ֗יתִי כְּשֶׂ֣ה אֹ֭בֵד בַּקֵּ֣שׁ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ כִּ֥י מִ֝צְוֺתֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃	I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments.	I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
