[ALEPH] O the blessedness of those perfect in the way, || They are walking in the Law of YHWH, Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
O the blessedness of those keeping His testimonies, || They seek Him with the whole heart. Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—
Indeed, they have not done iniquity, || They have walked in His ways. who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! they do no wrong but follow his ways.
You have commanded us to diligently keep Your precepts, You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.
O that my ways were prepared to keep Your statutes, Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!
Then I am not ashamed || In my looking to all Your commands. Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
I confess You with uprightness of heart, || In my learning the judgments of Your righteousness. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.
I keep Your statutes, do not utterly leave me! I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me! I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
[BETH] With what does a young man purify his path? To observe—according to Your word. How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.

I have hid Your saying in my heart, || That I do not sin before You. I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Blessed [are] You, O YHWH, teach me Your statutes. Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes! Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees.
With my lips I have recounted || All the judgments of Your mouth. With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, || As over all wealth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
I meditate on Your precepts, || And I attentively behold Your paths. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
I delight myself in Your statutes, || I do not forget Your word. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

I have gone forward in the dawn, and I cry, || I have hoped for Your word. I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words. I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word.
My eyes have gone before the watches, || To meditate on Your saying. My eyes are awake before the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promise. My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.
Hear my voice, according to Your kindness, || YHWH, quicken me according to Your judgment. Hear my voice according to your steadfast love; O LORD, according to your justice give me life. Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, LORD, according to your laws.
My wicked pursuers have been near, || They have been far off from Your law. They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose; they are far from your law. Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.
You [are] near, O YHWH, || And all Your commands [are] truth. But you are near, O LORD, and all your commandments are true. Yet you are near, LORD, and all your commands are true.
I have known Your testimonies of old, || That You have founded them for all time! Long have I known from your testimonies that you have founded them forever. Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.
[RESH] See my affliction, and deliver me, || For I have not forgotten Your law. Look on my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget your law. Look on my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.
Plead my plea, and redeem me, || Quicken me according to Your saying. Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to your promise! Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.
Salvation [is] far from the wicked, || For they have not sought Your statutes. Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your statutes. Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek out your decrees.
Your mercies [are] many, O YHWH, || Quicken me according to Your judgments. Great is your mercy, O LORD; give me life according to your rules. Your compassion, LORD, is great; preserve my life according to your laws.
My pursuers and adversaries are many, || I have not turned aside from Your testimonies. Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, but I do not swerve from your testimonies. Many are the foes who persecute me, but I have not turned from your statutes.
I have seen treacherous ones, || And grieve myself, || Because they have not kept Your saying. I look at the faithless with disgust, because they do not keep your commands. I look on the faithless with loathing, for they do not obey your word.
See, for I have loved Your precepts, || YHWH, quicken me according to Your kindness. Consider how I love your precepts! Give me life according to your steadfast love. See how I love your precepts; preserve my life, LORD, in accordance with your love.
The sum of Your word [is] truth, || And every judgment of Your righteousness [is] for all time! The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
[SHIN] Princes have pursued me without cause, || And my heart was afraid because of Your words. Princes persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words. Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word.
I rejoice concerning Your saying, || As one finding abundant spoil. I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil. I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil.
I have hated falsehood, indeed I detest [it], || I have loved Your law. I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your law. I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law.
Seven [times] in a day I have praised You, || Because of the judgments of Your righteousness. Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous rules. Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws.
Those loving Your law have abundant peace, || And they have no stumbling-block. Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
I have waited for Your salvation, O YHWH, || And I have done Your commands. I hope for your salvation, O LORD, and I do your commandments. I wait for your salvation, LORD, and I follow your commands.
My soul has kept Your testimonies, || And I love them exceedingly. My soul keeps your testimonies; I love them exceedingly. I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly.
I have kept Your precepts and Your testimonies, || For all my ways are before You! I keep your precepts and testimonies, for all my ways are before you. I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you.
[TAW] My loud cry comes near before You, O YHWH; Cause me to understand according to Your word. Let my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word! May my cry come before you, LORD; give me understanding according to your word.
My supplication comes in before You, || Deliver me according to Your saying. Let my plea come before you; deliver me according to your word. May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise.
My lips utter praise, || For You teach me Your statutes. My lips will pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes. May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees.
My tongue sings of Your saying, || For all Your commands [are] righteous. My tongue will sing of your word, for all your commandments are right. May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous.
Your hand is for a help to me, || For I have chosen Your commands. Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
I have longed for Your salvation, O YHWH, || And Your law [is] my delight. I long for your salvation, O LORD, and your law is my delight. I long for your salvation, LORD, and your law gives me delight.
My soul lives, and it praises You, || And Your judgments help me. Let my soul live and praise you, and let your rules help me. Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me.
I wandered as a lost sheep, [so] seek Your servant, || For I have not forgotten Your precepts! I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments. I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
