Blessed are those complete in the way, those walking in the law of YHWH. Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
Blessed are those keeping His testimonies; with all the heart they seek Him. Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—
Also they do not do injustice; in His ways they walk. who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! they do no wrong but follow his ways.
You have commanded Your precepts, to be kept diligently. You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.
Oh, that my ways were set firm to keep Your statutes! Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!
Then I would not be ashamed, in my looking to all Your commandments. Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
I will praise You with uprightness of heart, in my learning the judgments of Your righteousness. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.
Your statutes I will keep; may You not even to exceedingly forsake me! I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me! I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
How can a young man keep pure his way? By guarding it according to Your word. How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
In my heart I have hidden Your word, that I should not sin against You. I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Blessed are You, O YHWH; teach me Your statutes. Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes! Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees.
With my lips I have recounted all the judgments of Your mouth. With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.
In the way of Your testimonies I rejoice, more than in all wealth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
May I meditate on Your precepts and look upon Your paths. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
In Your statutes I will delight myself; I will not forget Your word. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word. Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word.
Open my eyes, that I may see the wonders from Your law. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
I am a sojourner on the earth; do not hide from me Your commandments! I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me! I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.
My soul is crushed with longing for Your judgments at all times. My soul is consumed with longing for your rules at all times. My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.
You rebuke the arrogant ones, the accursed ones, those going astray from Your commandments. You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from your commandments. You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands.
Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies. Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies. Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
Though princes sit against me and slander, Your servant meditates on Your statutes. Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes. Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
Your testimonies also are my delight—the men of my counsel. Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors. Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word! My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word! I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
My ways I recounted, and You answered me; teach me Your statutes. When I told of my ways, you answered me; teach me your statutes! I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.
Make me understand the way of Your precepts, that I may meditate on Your wonders. Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous works. Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.
My soul drips from sorrow; establish me according to Your word! My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word! My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
Turn away from me the path of deceit, and with Your law show favor to me. Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law! Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.
The way of truth I have chosen; Your ordinances I have set. I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me. I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.
I cling to Your testimonies, O YHWH; let me not be put to shame! I cling to your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame! I hold fast to your statutes, LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
The way of Your commandments I will run, for You will enlarge my heart. I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart! I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.
Teach me, O YHWH, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep it to the end. Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.
Give me understanding, and I will guard Your law, and I will keep it with all my heart. Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
Cause me to tread in the path of Your commandments, for in it I delight. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
Incline my heart toward Your testimonies, and not toward dishonest gain. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain! Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
Make my eyes pass from seeing the vain thing; with Your word revive me. Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
Make Your word stand for Your servant, which is for the fearing of You. Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared. Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
Remove the reproach that I dread, for Your judgments are good. Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good. Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.
Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness! Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life! How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
And may Your loving devotion come to me, O YHWH, Your salvation according to Your word. Let your steadfast love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise; May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise;
Then I will answer with a word for the one reproaching me, for I trust in Your word. then shall I have an answer for him who taunts me, for I trust in your word. then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
And do not take away from my mouth the word of truth even to exceedingly! For in Your judgments I have hoped. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in your rules. Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
And I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever, I will keep your law continually, forever and ever, I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
and I will walk in a broad place, for Your precepts I have sought. and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts. I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
And I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and I will not be ashamed. I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame, I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
And I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I have loved. for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love. for I delight in your commands because I love them.
And I will lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate on Your statutes. I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes. I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.
Remember the word to Your servant, upon that You have caused me to hope. Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope. Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life. This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
The arrogant ones mock me even to exceedingly; from Your law I do not stretch away. The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law. The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.
I remember Your judgments from old, O YHWH, and I am comforted. When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD. I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them.
Indignation has seized me, from the wicked forsaking Your law. Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law. Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.
Your statutes have been songs to me, in the house of my sojourning. Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning. Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.
I remember Your name in the night, O YHWH, and I keep Your law. I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law. In the night, LORD, I remember your name, that I may keep your law.
This has come to be for me, for I have kept Your precepts. This blessing has fallen to me, that I have kept your precepts. This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
YHWH is my portion; I have said I would keep Your words. The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words. You are my portion, LORD; I have promised to obey your words.
I appeased Your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your word. I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise. I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
I have considered my paths, and turned back my feet to Your testimonies. When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies; I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
I hurried and did not delay to keep Your commandments. I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments. I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.
The cords of the wicked have surrounded me, Your law I have not forgotten. Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law. Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.
In the middle of the night, I rise to give thanks to You, upon the judgments of Your righteousness. At midnight I rise to praise you, because of your righteous rules. At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
I am a companion to all who fear You, and to those keeping Your precepts. I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts. I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.
O YHWH, with Your loving devotion the earth is full; teach me Your statutes. The earth, O LORD, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes! The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees.
You have done well with Your servant, O YHWH, according to Your word. You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word. Do good to your servant according to your word, LORD.
So may You teach me good judgment and knowledge, for in Your commandments I have believed. Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments. Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.
Before I was afflicted, I was going astray; and now I have kept Your word. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.
You are good, and the One doing good; may You teach me Your statutes. You are good and do good; teach me your statutes. You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.
The arrogant ones have smeared a lie over me; I, with all my heart, will guard Your precepts. The insolent smear me with lies, but with my whole heart I keep your precepts; Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart.
Their heart is unfeeling like fat; I have delighted in Your law. their heart is unfeeling like fat, but I delight in your law. Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law.
It is good for me that I was afflicted, so that I might learn Your statutes. It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes. It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
The law from Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver. The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces. The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
Your hands have made me and established me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments. Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments. Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.
Those fearing You see me and rejoice, because in Your word I have hoped. Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in your word. May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.
I know, O YHWH, that Your judgments are righteous, and in faithfulness You have afflicted me. I know, O LORD, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me. I know, LORD, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
Your loving devotion, may it be, please, to comfort me, according to Your word to Your servant. Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant. May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
May Your compassions come to me, that I may live, for Your law is my delight. Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight. Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.
May the arrogant ones be put to shame, for with a lie they dealt perversely with me; I will meditate on Your precepts. Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts. May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause; but I will meditate on your precepts.
Let those who fear You turn to me, and those who know Your testimonies. Let those who fear you turn to me, that they may know your testimonies. May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.
May my heart be perfect in Your statutes, so that I may not be ashamed. May my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame! May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.
My soul faints for Your salvation; for Your word I wait. My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word. My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.
My eyes fail for your word, saying, “When will You comfort me?” My eyes long for your promise; I ask, “When will you comfort me?” My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, “When will you comfort me?”
For, I have become like a wineskin in smoke; Your statutes I have not forgotten. For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I have not forgotten your statutes. Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees.
How many are the days of Your servant? When will You execute judgment on my pursuers? How long must your servant endure? When will you judge those who persecute me? How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors?
The arrogant ones have dug pits for me that are not according to Your law. The insolent have dug pitfalls for me; they do not live according to your law. The arrogant dig pits to trap me, contrary to your law.
All Your commandments are firm, falsely they pursue me—Help me! All your commandments are sure; they persecute me with falsehood; help me! All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for I am being persecuted without cause.
Almost they consumed me on the earth; and I have not forsaken Your precepts. They have almost made an end of me on earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts. They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.
According to Your loving devotion, revive me, that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth. In your steadfast love give me life, that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth. In your unfailing love preserve my life, that I may obey the statutes of your mouth.
Forever, O YHWH, is Your word, standing fixed in the heavens. Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
For generation and generation is Your faithfulness; You established the earth, and it stands. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.
According to Your ordinances, they stand this day, for all things are Your servants. By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.
Had Your law not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
Forever, I will not forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
Unto You I am—save me! For I have sought Your precepts. I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts. Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts.
The wicked wait for me to destroy me; Your testimonies I will consider. The wicked lie in wait to destroy me, but I consider your testimonies. The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes.
To all perfection I have seen an end; broad is Your commandment exceedingly. I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad. To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless.
Oh, how I love Your law! All the day, it is my meditation. Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
By Your commandment You make me wiser than my enemies; for, it is with me forever. Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me. Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies.
I have insight above all my teachers, for Your testimonies are a meditation to me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.
I understand above elders, for Your precepts I have kept. I understand more than the aged, for I keep your precepts. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.
From every path of evil I have restrained my feet, that I may keep Your word. I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep your word. I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey your word.
From Your ordinances I have not turned aside, for You have instructed me. I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me. I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.
How smooth are Your words to my palate, more than honey to my mouth! How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
From Your precepts I gain understanding; upon thus, I hate every path of deception! Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.
Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
I have sworn and confirmed: I will keep the judgments of Your righteousness. I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.
I am afflicted even exceedingly, O YHWH; revive me according to Your word! I am severely afflicted; give me life, O LORD, according to your word! I have suffered much; preserve my life, LORD, according to your word.
May You accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, please, O YHWH, and may You teach me Your judgments. Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules. Accept, LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.
My soul is in my hand continually, and I do not forget Your law. I hold my life in my hand continually, but I do not forget your law. Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.
The wicked have set a snare for me, and from Your precepts I do not go astray. The wicked have laid a snare for me, but I do not stray from your precepts. The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
I have inherited Your testimonies forever; for they are the joy of my heart. Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, to the end! I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.
The double-minded I hate, and Your law I love. I hate the double-minded, but I love your law. I hate double-minded people, but I love your law.
You are my hiding place and my shield; in Your word I hope. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word. You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.
Turn away from me, O evildoers! And I will keep the commandments of my God. Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God. Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!
Uphold me according to Your word, and l will live; and do not make me ashamed of my hope! Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope! Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.
Support me, and I will be saved; and I will gaze on Your statutes continually. Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually! Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees.
You have trodden down all those going astray from Your statutes, for their treachery is falsehood. You spurn all who go astray from your statutes, for their cunning is in vain. You reject all who stray from your decrees, for their delusions come to nothing.
Like dross You put an end to all the wicked of the earth; therefore I love Your testimonies. All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross, therefore I love your testimonies. All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross; therefore I love your statutes.
My flesh bristles from dread of You, and of your judgments I have been afraid. My flesh trembles for fear of you, and I am afraid of your judgments. My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.
I have done justice and righteousness; do not leave me to my oppressors! I have done what is just and right; do not leave me to my oppressors. I have done what is righteous and just; do not leave me to my oppressors.
Ensure Your servant for good; do not let the arrogant ones oppress me. Give your servant a pledge of good; let not the insolent oppress me. Ensure your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
My eyes fail for Your salvation, and for the word of Your righteousness. My eyes long for your salvation and for the fulfillment of your righteous promise. My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.
Deal with Your servant according to Your loving devotion, and teach me Your statutes. Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love, and teach me your statutes. Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees.
I am Your servant—give me understanding, that I may know Your testimonies. I am your servant; give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies! I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes.
It is time, O YHWH, to act; they have broken Your law! It is time for the LORD to act, for your law has been broken. It is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken.
Upon thus, I love Your commandments more than gold, and more than fine gold. Therefore I love your commandments above gold, above fine gold. Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold,
Upon thus, all the precepts I have declared wholly right; every path of deception I hate. Therefore I consider all your precepts to be right; I hate every false way. and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.
Wonderful are Your testimonies; upon thus, my soul has kept watch over them. Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them. Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them.
The opening of Your words gives light, giving understanding to the simple ones. The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
I have opened my mouth and I pant—for I have longed for Your commandments! I open my mouth and pant, because I long for your commandments. I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, according to justice to those loving Your name. Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is your way with those who love your name. Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.
Establish my steps by Your word, and do not let any iniquity rule over me. Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me. Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts. Redeem me from man’s oppression, that I may keep your precepts. Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts.
Make Your face shine on Your servant, and teach me Your statutes. Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes. Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees.
Streams of waters run down from my eyes, because they have not kept Your law. My eyes shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law. Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.
You are righteous, O YHWH, and Your judgments are upright. Righteous are you, O LORD, and right are your rules. You are righteous, LORD, and your laws are right.
You have appointed your righteous testimonies, and exceedingly faithful. You have appointed your testimonies in righteousness and in all faithfulness. The statutes you have laid down are righteous; they are fully trustworthy.
My zeal has cut me off, because my adversaries have forgotten Your words. My zeal consumes me, because my foes forget your words. My zeal wears me out, for my enemies ignore your words.
Your word is exceedingly pure, and Your servant has loved it. Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it. Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.
I am little and despised; I do not forget Your precepts. I am small and despised, yet I do not forget your precepts. Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts.
Your righteousness is righteous forever, and Your law is truth. Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law is true. Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true.
Trouble and distress have found me; Your commandments are my delight. Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight. Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight.
The righteousness of Your testimonies is forever; give me understanding, that I may live! Your testimonies are righteous forever; give me understanding that I may live. Your statutes are always righteous; give me understanding that I may live.
I cry out with all my heart; answer me, O YHWH! Your statutes I will guard. With my whole heart I cry; answer me, O LORD! I will keep your statutes. I call with all my heart; answer me, LORD, and I will obey your decrees.
I call out to You, save me, that I may keep Your testimonies! I call to you; save me, that I may observe your testimonies. I call out to you; save me and I will keep your statutes.
I went ahead at the dawn, and I cried out, and for Your word I have hoped. I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words. I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word.
My eyes have gone before the watches to meditate on Your word. My eyes are awake before the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promise. My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.
Hear my voice, O YHWH, according to Your loving devotion; according to Your justice, preserve my life! Hear my voice according to your steadfast love; O LORD, according to your justice give me life. Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, LORD, according to your laws.
They draw near, those pursuing wickedness! From Your law they are far. They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose; they are far from your law. Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.
You are near, O YHWH, and all Your commandments are truth. But you are near, O LORD, and all your commandments are true. Yet you are near, LORD, and all your commands are true.
I have known of Your testimonies of old, that forever You have founded them. Long have I known from your testimonies that you have founded them forever. Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.
See my affliction and rescue me! For I have not forgotten Your law. Look on my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget your law. Look on my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.
Plead my plea and redeem me; according to Your word, revive me! Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to your promise! Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.
Far from the wicked is salvation, because they have not not sought Your statutes. Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your statutes. Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek out your decrees.
Your mercies are great, O YHWH; according to Your ordinances, revive me! Great is your mercy, O LORD; give me life according to your rules. Your compassion, LORD, is great; preserve my life according to your laws.
Many are my pursuers and my adversaries; from Your testimonies I have not turned aside. Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, but I do not swerve from your testimonies. Many are the foes who persecute me, but I have not turned from your statutes.
I have seen those acting treacherously, and I felt loathing, because they have not kept Your word. I look at the faithless with disgust, because they do not keep your commands. I look on the faithless with loathing, for they do not obey your word.
See, how I love Your precepts, O YHWH; according to Your loving devotion, revive me! Consider how I love your precepts! Give me life according to your steadfast love. See how I love your precepts; preserve my life, LORD, in accordance with your love.
The head of Your word is truth, and every judgment of Your righteousness is forever. The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.
Princes may pursue me without cause, and of Your word my heart was afraid. Princes persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words. Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word.
I am rejoicing over Your word like one finding great plunder. I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil. I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil.
Deception I hate and abhor; Your law I do love. I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your law. I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law.
Seven times in the day I praise You, because of the judgments of Your righteousness. Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous rules. Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws.
Great prosperity is unto those loving Your law, and nothing to them is a stumbling block. Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
I wait for Your salvation, O YHWH, and Your commandments I have done. I hope for your salvation, O LORD, and I do your commandments. I wait for your salvation, LORD, and I follow your commands.
My soul has kept Your testimonies, and I love them exceedingly. My soul keeps your testimonies; I love them exceedingly. I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly.
I have kept Your precepts and Your testimonies, because all my ways are before You. I keep your precepts and testimonies, for all my ways are before you. I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you.
Let my cry come before You, O YHWH; according to Your word, give me understanding. Let my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word! May my cry come before you, LORD; give me understanding according to your word.
Let my supplication come before You; according to Your word, deliver me. Let my plea come before you; deliver me according to your word. May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise.
Let my lips pour forth praise, for You teach me Your statutes. My lips will pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes. May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees.
Let my tongue sing out Your word, for all Your commandments are righteous. My tongue will sing of your word, for all your commandments are right. May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous.
Let Your hand be to help me, for Your precepts I have chosen. Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
I long for Your salvation, O YHWH, and Your law is my delight. I long for your salvation, O LORD, and your law is my delight. I long for your salvation, LORD, and your law gives me delight.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise You; and may Your judgments help me. Let my soul live and praise you, and let your rules help me. Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me.
I have gone astray, getting lost like a sheep; may You seek Your servant, for Your commandments I have not forgotten. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments. I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
