1	How blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the law of Yahweh.	Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD!	Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
2	How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, They seek Him with all their heart.	Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,	Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—
3	They also do not work unrighteousness; They walk in His ways.	who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!	they do no wrong but follow his ways.
4	You have commanded us, To keep Your precepts diligently.	You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.	You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed.
5	Oh may my ways be established To keep Your statutes!	Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!	Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!
6	Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Your commandments.	Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.	Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
7	I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.	I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules.	I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.
8	I shall keep Your statutes; Do not forsake me utterly!	I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me!	I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
9	How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.	How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.	How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
10	With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me stray from Your commandments.	With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!	I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
11	Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.	I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.	I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
12	Blessed are You, O Yahweh; Teach me Your statutes.	Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes!	Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees.
13	With my lips I have recounted All the judgments of Your mouth.	With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.	With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth.
14	I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.	In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.	I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
15	I will muse upon Your precepts And look upon Your ways.	I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.	I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
16	I shall delight in Your statutes; I shall not forget Your word.	I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.	I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
17	Deal bountifully with Your slave, That I may live and keep Your word.	Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word.	Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word.
18	Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your law.	Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.	Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
19	I am a sojourner in the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me.	I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me!	I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.
20	My soul is crushed with longing For Your judgments at all times.	My soul is consumed with longing for your rules at all times.	My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.
21	You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, Who stray from Your commandments.	You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from your commandments.	You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands.
22	Take away reproach and contempt from me, For I observe Your testimonies.	Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies.	Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes.
23	Even though princes sit and talk against me, Your slave muses on Your statutes.	Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.	Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
24	Your testimonies also are my delight; They are my counselors.	Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors.	Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
25	My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.	My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word!	I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
26	I have recounted my ways, and You have answered me; Teach me Your statutes.	When I told of my ways, you answered me; teach me your statutes!	I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.
27	Make me understand the way of Your precepts, So I will muse on Your wondrous deeds.	Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wondrous works.	Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.
28	My soul weeps because of grief; Raise me up according to Your word.	My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word!	My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
29	Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your law.	Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!	Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.
30	I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.	I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me.	I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.
31	I cling to Your testimonies; O Yahweh, do not put me to shame!	I cling to your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame!	I hold fast to your statutes, LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
32	I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will enlarge my heart.	I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart!	I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.
33	Instruct me, O Yahweh, in the way of Your statutes, That I may observe it to the end.	Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end.	Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.
34	Cause me to understand, that I may observe Your law And keep it with all my heart.	Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.	Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
35	Cause me to walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.	Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.	Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
36	Cause my heart to incline to Your testimonies And not to dishonest gain.	Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain!	Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
37	Cause my eyes to turn away from looking at worthlessness, And revive me in Your ways.	Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.	Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
38	Cause Your word to be established for Your slave, As that which produces fear for You.	Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared.	Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
39	Cause my reproach which I dread to pass away, For Your judgments are good.	Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good.	Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.
40	Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.	Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life!	How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
41	May Your lovingkindnesses also come to me, O Yahweh, Your salvation according to Your word;	Let your steadfast love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise;	May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise;
42	So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in Your word.	then shall I have an answer for him who taunts me, for I trust in your word.	then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
43	And do not take away the word of truth utterly from my mouth, For I wait for Your judgments.	And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in your rules.	Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
44	So I will keep Your law continually, Forever and ever.	I will keep your law continually, forever and ever,	I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
45	And I will walk in a wide place, For I seek Your precepts.	and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.	I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
46	I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings And I shall not be ashamed.	I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame,	I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
47	I shall delight in Your commandments, Which I love.	for I find my delight in your commandments, which I love.	for I delight in your commands because I love them.
48	And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments, Which I love; And I will muse on Your statutes.	I will lift up my hands toward your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.	I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.
49	Remember the word to Your slave, In which You have made me wait.	Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope.	Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.
50	This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me.	This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.	My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
51	The arrogant utterly scoff at me, Yet I do not turn aside from Your law.	The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law.	The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.
52	I have remembered Your judgments from of old, O Yahweh, And comfort myself.	When I think of your rules from of old, I take comfort, O LORD.	I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them.
53	Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked, Who forsake Your law.	Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law.	Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law.
54	Your statutes have become my songs In the house of my sojourning.	Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning.	Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.
55	I remember in the night Your name, O Yahweh, So I keep Your law.	I remember your name in the night, O LORD, and keep your law.	In the night, LORD, I remember your name, that I may keep your law.
56	This has become mine, That I observe Your precepts.	This blessing has fallen to me, that I have kept your precepts.	This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
57	Yahweh is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words.	The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words.	You are my portion, LORD; I have promised to obey your words.
58	I have sought to please Your face with all my heart; Be gracious to me according to Your word.	I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.	I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
59	I thought upon my ways And I turned my feet to Your testimonies.	When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies;	I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
60	I hastened and did not delay To keep Your commandments.	I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments.	I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.
61	The cords of the wicked have encircled me, But I have not forgotten Your law.	Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law.	Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.
62	At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to You Because of Your righteous judgments.	At midnight I rise to praise you, because of your righteous rules.	At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
63	I am a companion of all those who fear You, And of those who keep Your precepts.	I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts.	I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.
64	The earth, O Yahweh, is full of Your lovingkindness; Teach me Your statutes.	The earth, O LORD, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes!	The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees.
65	You have dealt well with Your slave, O Yahweh, according to Your word.	You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word.	Do good to your servant according to your word, LORD.
66	Teach me good discernment and knowledge, For I believe in Your commandments.	Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.	Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.
67	Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Your word.	Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.	Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.
68	You are good and do good; Teach me Your statutes.	You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.	You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.

71	It is good for me that I was afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.	It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.	It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
72	The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.	The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.	The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.

75	I know, O Yahweh, that Your judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.	I know, O LORD, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.	I know, LORD, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76	Oh may Your lovingkindness comfort me, According to Your word to Your slave.	Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.	May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
77	May Your compassion come to me that I may live, For Your law is my delight.	Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.	Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.
78	May the arrogant be ashamed, for they wrong me with lying; But I shall muse on Your precepts.	Let the insolent be put to shame, because they have wronged me with falsehood; as for me, I will meditate on your precepts. 79	May those who fear You turn to me, And those who know Your testimonies.	Let those who fear you turn to me, that they may know your testimonies.	May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes.
80	May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, So that I will not be ashamed.	May my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame!	May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.
81	My soul fails with longing for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.	My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word.	My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.
82	My eyes fail with longing for Your word, Saying, “When will You comfort me?”	My eyes long for your promise; I ask, “When will you comfort me?”	My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, “When will you comfort me?”
83	For I am like a wineskin in the smoke, But I do not forget Your statutes.	For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I have not forgotten your statutes.	Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees.
84	How many are the days of Your slave? When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me?	How long must your servant endure? When will you judge those who persecute me?	How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors?
85	The arrogant have dug pits for me, Men who are not in accord with Your law.	The insolent have dug pitfalls for me; they do not live according to your law.	The arrogant dig pits to trap me, contrary to your law.
86	All Your commandments are faithful; They have persecuted me with lying; help me!	All your commandments are sure; they persecute me with falsehood; help me!	All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for I am being persecuted without cause.
87	They almost made an end of me on the earth, But as for me, I did not forsake Your precepts.	They have almost made an end of me on earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.	They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.
88	Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.	In your steadfast love give me life, that I may keep the testimonies of your mouth.	In your unfailing love preserve my life, that I may obey the statutes of your mouth.
89	Forever, O Yahweh, Your word stands firm in heaven.	Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.	Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
90	Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation; You established the earth, and it stands.	Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.	Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.
91	They stand this day according to Your judgments, For all things are Your slaves.	By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants.	Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.

102	I have not turned aside from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.	I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me.	I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.
103	How sweet is Your word to my taste! Sweeter than honey to my mouth!	How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!	How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

108	Oh be pleased with the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Yahweh, And teach me Your judgments.	Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules.	Accept, LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.
109	My soul is continually in my hand, Yet I do not forget Your law.	I hold my life in my hand continually, but I do not forget your law.	Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.
110	The wicked have laid a snare for me, Yet I have not wandered from Your precepts.	The wicked have laid a snare for me, but I do not stray from your precepts.	The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111	I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart.	Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.	Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.

117	Uphold me that I may be saved, That I may have regard for Your statutes continually.	Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually!	Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees.
118	You have rejected all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceitfulness is a lie.	You spurn all who go astray from your statutes, for their cunning is in vain.	You reject all who stray from your decrees, for their delusions come to nothing.

120	My flesh quakes for dread of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.	My flesh trembles for fear of you, and I am afraid of your judgments.	My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.
121	I have done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors.	I have done what is just and right; do not leave me to my oppressors.	I have done what is righteous and just; do not leave me to my oppressors.
122	Be for Your slave a guarantee for good; Do not let the arrogant oppress me.	Give your servant a pledge of good; let not the insolent oppress me.	Ensure your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123	My eyes fail with longing for Your salvation And for Your righteous word.	My eyes long for your salvation and for the fulfillment of your righteous promise.	My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.
124	Deal with Your slave according to Your lovingkindness And teach me Your statutes.	Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love, and teach me your statutes.	Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees.
125	I am Your slave; give me understanding, That I may know Your testimonies.	I am your servant; give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies!	I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes.
126	It is time for Yahweh to act, For they have broken Your law.	It is time for the LORD to act, for your law has been broken.	It is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken.

135	Make Your face shine upon Your slave, And teach me Your statutes.	Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes.	Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees.
136	My eyes shed streams of water, Because they do not keep Your law.	My eyes shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law.	Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.
137	Righteous are You, O Yahweh, And upright are Your judgments.	Righteous are you, O LORD, and right are your rules.	You are righteous, LORD, and your laws are right.
138	In righteousness, You have commanded Your testimonies And in exceeding faithfulness.	You have appointed your testimonies in righteousness and in all faithfulness.	The statutes you have laid down are righteous; they are fully trustworthy.
139	My zeal has consumed me, Because my adversaries have forgotten Your words.	My zeal consumes me, because my foes forget your words.	My zeal wears me out, for my enemies ignore your words.
140	Your word is exceedingly refined, Therefore Your slave loves it.	Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it.	Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.
141	I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts.	I am small and despised, yet I do not forget your precepts.	Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts.

151	Near are You, O Yahweh, And all Your commandments are truth.	But you are near, O LORD, and all your commandments are true.	Yet you are near, LORD, and all your commands are true.
152	Of old I have known from Your testimonies That You have founded them forever.	Long have I known from your testimonies that you have founded them forever.	Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever.
