My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying, “When will You comfort me?” | 82My eyes grow weary with respect to what you have promised— I keep asking, "When will you comfort me?" |
For I have become like a wineskin in smoke, Yet I do not forget Your statutes. | 83Though I have become like a water skin dried by smoke, I have not forgotten your statutes. |
How many are the days of Your servant? When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me? | 84How many days must your servant endure this? When will you judge those who persecute me? |
The proud have dug pits for me, Which is not according to Your law. | 85The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me disobeying your instruction. |

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! | 103How pleasing is what you have to say to me— tasting better than honey. |
Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. | 104I obtain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every false way. |
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. | 105Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my pathway. |
