3	“I will also ask you a question, Jesus replied. “Tell Me:	He answered them, “I also will ask you a question. Now tell me,	And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:	But He replied to them, “I will also ask you a question, and you tell Me:	He replied, “I will also ask you a question. Tell me:

9	Then He proceeded to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, rented it out to some tenants, and went away for a long time. I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence <i>him</i> when they see him.	Now the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What am I to do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’	“Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.’
14	But when the tenants saw the son, they discussed it among themselves and said, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.	But when the tenants saw him, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him, so that the inheritance may be ours.’	But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.	But when the vine-growers saw him, they discussed with one another, saying, ‘This is the heir; let’s kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.’	“But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. ‘This is the heir,’ they said. ‘Let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
15	So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?	And they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?	So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed <i>him</i>. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16	He will come and kill those tenants, and will give the vineyard to others. And when the people heard this, they said, “ May such a thing never happen! And when they heard <i>it</i>, they said, God forbid.	He will come and put these vine-growers to death, and will give the vineyard to others.” However, when they heard <i>this,</i> they said, “May it never happen!”	He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!”
17	But Jesus looked directly at them and said, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’	But he looked directly at them and said, “What then is this that is written: “‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?	And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?	But Jesus looked at them and said, “Then what is this <i>statement</i> that has been written: ‘A STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS HAS BECOME THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE’?	Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: “’The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
18	Everyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.	Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.”	Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.	Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will crush him.”	Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”
19	When the scribes and chief priests realized that Jesus had spoken this parable against them, they sought to arrest Him that very hour. But they were afraid of the people.	The scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on him at that very hour, for they perceived that he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people.	And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.	The scribes and the chief priests tried to lay hands on Him that very hour, and <i>yet</i> they feared the people; for they were aware that He had spoken this parable against them.	The teachers of the law and the chief priests looked for a way to arrest him immediately, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they were afraid of the people.
20	So they watched Him closely and sent spies who pretended to be sincere. They were hoping to catch Him in His words in order to hand Him over to the rule and authority of the governor.	So they watched him and sent spies, who pretended to be sincere, that they might catch him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the authority and jurisdiction of the governor.	And they watched <i>him</i>, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.	And <i>so</i> they watched Him closely, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order that they might catch Him in <i>some</i> statement, so that they <i>could</i> hand Him over to the jurisdiction and authority of the governor. 21	“Teacher, they inquired, “we know that You speak and teach correctly. You show no partiality, but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.	So they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach rightly, and show no partiality, but truly teach the way of God.	And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person <i>of any</i>, but teachest the way of God truly:	And <i>the spies</i> questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You are not partial to anyone, but You teach the way of God on the basis of truth.	So the spies questioned him: “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach what is right, and that you do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.
22	Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?	Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?”	Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?	Is it permissible for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”	Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”

25	So Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.	He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”	And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.	And He said to them, “Then pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”	He said to them, “Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
26	And they were unable to trap Him in His words before the people; and amazed at His answer, they fell silent.	And they were not able in the presence of the people to catch him in what he said, but marveling at his answer they became silent.	And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.	And they were unable to catch Him in a statement in the presence of the people; and they were amazed at His answer, and said nothing.	They were unable to trap him in what he had said there in public. And astonished by his answer, they became silent.
27	Then some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to question Him.	There came to him some Sadducees, those who deny that there is a resurrection,	Then came to <i>him</i> certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,	Now some of the Sadducees (who maintain that there is no resurrection) came to Him,	Some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus with a question.
28	“Teacher, they said, “Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man is to marry his brother’s widow and raise up offspring for him.	and they asked him a question, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife but no children, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.	Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.	and they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, leaving a wife, and he is childless, that his brother is to marry the wife and raise up children for his brother.	“Teacher,” they said, “Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.
29	Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a wife, but died childless.	Now there were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died without children.	There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children. 34	Jesus answered, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35	But those who are considered worthy to share in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage.	but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage,	But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:	but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;	But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,
36	In fact, they can no longer die, because they are like the angels. And since they are sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God.	for they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. 41	Then Jesus declared, “How can it be said that the Christ is the Son of David?	But he said to them, “How can they say that the Christ is David’s son? Then Jesus said to them, “Why is it said that the Messiah is the son of David?
