When
the
Sabbath
was over,
Mary
Magdalene,
Mary
the mother
of James,
and
Salome
bought
spices
so
they could go
and anoint
the body of Jesus.
And
when
the sabbath
was past,
Mary
Magdalene,
and
Mary
the [mother]
of James,
and
Salome,
had bought
sweet spices,
that
they might come
and anoint
him.

Very
early
on the
first day
of the
week,
just after sunrise,
they went
to
the
tomb.
And
very
early in the morning
the first
[day] of the week,
they came
unto
the sepulchre
at the rising
of the sun.

They were asking
one another,
“Who
will roll away
the
stone
from
the
entrance
of the
tomb?
And
they said
among
themselves,
Who
shall roll
us
away
the stone
from
the door
of the sepulchre?

But
when they looked up,
they saw
that
the
stone
had been rolled away,
even though
it was
extremely
large.
And
when they looked,
they saw
that
the stone
was rolled away:
for
it was
very
great.

When
they entered
the
tomb,
they saw
a young man
dressed in
a white
robe
sitting
on
the
right side,
and
they were alarmed.
And
entering
into
the sepulchre,
they saw
a young man
sitting
on
the right side,
clothed
in a long white
garment;
and
they were affrighted.

But
he said
to them,
“Do not

You are looking for
Jesus

Nazarene,
who
was crucified.
He has risen!
He is

See
the
place
where
they put
Him.
And
he saith
unto them,
Be
not
affrighted:
Ye seek
Jesus
of Nazareth,
which
was crucified:
he is risen;
he is
not
here:
behold
the place
where
they laid
him.

go,

So
the women left
the

and ran away,
trembling
and
bewildered.
And
in their fear
they did not say
a word to anyone.
And
they went out
quickly,
and fled
from
the sepulchre;
for
they
trembled
and
were amazed:
neither
said they
any thing
to any

they were afraid.

Early
on the first day
of the week,
after Jesus had risen,
He appeared
first
to Mary
Magdalene,
from
whom
He had driven out
seven
demons.
Now
when [Jesus] was risen
early
the first
[day] of the week,
he appeared
first
to Mary
Magdalene,
out of
whom
he had cast
seven
devils.

She
went
and told
those
who had been
with
Him,
who were mourning
and
weeping.
[And] she
went
and told
them that had been
with
him,
as they mourned
and
wept.

And when they
heard
that
Jesus was alive
and
she had seen Him,
they did not believe it.
And they,
when they had heard
that
he was alive,
and
had been seen
of
her,
believed not.

After
this,
Jesus appeared
in

of

along
in
the country.
After
that
he appeared
in

and went
into
the country.

neither

Later,
as they
were eating,
Jesus appeared
to the
Eleven
and
rebuked them
for their
unbelief
and
hardness of heart,
because
they did not believe
those
who had seen
Him
after He had risen.
Afterward
he appeared
unto the eleven
as they
sat at meat,
and
upbraided
them with their
unbelief
and
hardness of heart,
because
they believed
not
them which had seen
him
after he was risen.
