Ezk 47:13-14 This is what the Lord GOD says: “These are the boundaries”… Asher will have one portion Asher receives a full tribal inheritance in the restored land, reflecting the enduring place of Jacob’s sons in Israel’s future. The measured boundaries show that worship of the LORD would stand at the center of Israel’s ordered life. Ezk 45:3 From this holy portion, you are to measure off… This will be the holy portion for the priests. The southern boundary will equal the northern length, enclosing a large rectangular area set apart for priestly use. Num 34:3-5 Your southern border will extend from the Wilderness of Zin… In the center will be the sanctuary of the LORD. The sanctuary will stand at the center of the holy district, visibly establishing the LORD’s dwelling and worship as the focal point of the restored land. Exo 25:8-9 And they are to make a sanctuary for Me,… It will be for the consecrated priests, The designated portion of the holy district belongs to priests set apart for service in the future temple. Their consecration reflects the holiness required of those who minister before the Lord. Exo 29:44 So I will consecrate the Tent of Meeting and the altar,… the descendants of Zadok, Zadok served faithfully under David and Solomon, and his family remained associated with the legitimate priesthood. In Ezekiel’s temple order, his descendants receive this privilege because of their historic faithfulness. Ezk 43:19 You are to give a young bull from the herd as a sin offering… who kept My charge They guarded the responsibilities God assigned to the priesthood, preserving proper worship and the sanctity of His house. Num 18:5 And you shall attend to the duties of the sanctuary… and did not go astray as the Levites did Many Levites joined Israel in idolatry and were later restricted to lesser temple duties. The Zadokite priests did not share in that rebellion. Ezk 44:10-14 Surely the Levites who wandered away from Me… when the Israelites went astray. Israel’s departure from the Lord brought judgment and exile. The special place given to Zadok’s descendants shows that faithful service was remembered amid the nation’s widespread unfaithfulness. Exo 32:1-6 Now when the people saw that Moses was delayed… It will be a special portion for them The sons of Zadok received this allotment because they remained faithful in their priestly duties when other leaders led Israel into idolatry. Their land recognized their consecrated service before the Lord. Ezk 44:28 In regard to their inheritance, I am their inheritance.… the Levites shall have an area 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. This sizable allotment provided homes and resources for the Levites who served the sanctuary and represented the tribes in matters of worship. Ezk 45:2-3 Within this area there is to be a section for the sanctuary… They must not sell or exchange any of it, The priestly allotment was permanently set apart for the service of the LORD. Unlike ordinary tribal land, it could not be treated as private property or used for personal gain. Its fixed status preserved the provision God had made for the priests and Levites and protected the worshiping life of the restored community. Lev 25:23 The land must not be sold permanently, because it is Mine… and they must not transfer this best part of the land, The choicest portion belonged to the LORD and was entrusted to those serving at the sanctuary. No priest or Levite could transfer it to another owner, since its purpose was tied to the temple and the ministry carried out there. The command guarded against corruption, loss, and the misuse of what had been consecrated. Num 36:7 No inheritance in Israel may be transferred… for it is holy to the LORD. The land was holy because God claimed it for His own purpose. Its location near the sanctuary marked the central place of worship in Israel’s restored order and reminded the nation that the LORD’s presence governed the land and its people. Lev 27:28 Nothing that a man sets apart to the LORD from all he owns…

Ezk 45:6 As the property of the city, you are to set aside an area… 4,500 cubits on the north side, The northern boundary matches the other sides, establishing a square city set apart within the holy portion of the land. Ezk 42:17 He measured the north side to be five hundred cubits long. 4,500 cubits on the south side, Its equal length confirms the city’s deliberate design and fixed place among the tribal territories. Ezk 42:18 He measured the south side to be five hundred cubits long. 4,500 cubits on the east side, The eastern boundary completes another side of the square, reflecting the order of the restored community centered on the Lord’s worship. Num 34:10-12 And your eastern border will run straight from Hazar-enan… and 250 cubits to the west. The equal dimensions on every side created a balanced area of common land, showing that the city’s practical needs were included in the Lord’s design for Israel’s restored inheritance. Num 34:6 Your western border will be the coastline of the Great Sea;… The remainder of the length bordering the holy portion and running adjacent to it The land on either side of the sacred district is reserved for the city’s workers, providing food while keeping worship at the center of the restored land. Their work sustained the people and demonstrated faithful stewardship of the land God had given them. Isa 61:5 Strangers will stand and feed your flocks… will come from all the tribes of Israel. The workforce would be drawn from the entire nation, not from one tribe alone, portraying a restored Israel united in service and participation in the blessings of the land. Jos 24:1 Then Joshua assembled all the tribes of Israel at Shechem.… The entire portion will be a square, Its equal dimensions display the order governing Israel’s restored land. The sacred district is not left to tribal preference or human negotiation but is arranged according to God’s command. Rev 21:16 The city lies foursquare, with its width… 25,000 cubits by 25,000 cubits. This large, measured area provides a defined setting for the temple precincts, priestly land, Levites, and the city. As Israel’s ruler, he is responsible to administer justice, protect the people, and preserve the inheritance God has assigned. Ezk 47:13-14 This is what the Lord GOD says: “These are the boundaries”… extending eastward from the 25,000 cubits of the holy district toward the eastern border, The eastern portion reaches from the sacred district to the boundary of the land. Its defined measurements show that the prince’s authority is subject to God’s established order. Ezk 45:1-3 When you divide the land by lot as an inheritance… and westward from the 25,000 cubits to the western border. An equal tract extends westward, giving the prince land on both sides of the central district. The arrangement prevents royal power from dominating the sanctuary, the city, or the tribal territories. Num 34:6-12 Your western border will be the coastline of the Great Sea;… And in the center of them will be the holy portion and the sanctuary of the temple. The temple remains at the center of the land’s organization, declaring that the Lord’s presence and worship govern Israel’s national life.
