Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
“Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise), “Honor your father and mother|—which is the first commandment with a promise—
“that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on the earth.” “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. SO THAT IT MAY TURN OUT WELL FOR YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH. “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Bondservants, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
And do this not only to please them while they are watching, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
Serve with good will, as to the Lord and not to men, rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: With goodwill render service, as to the Lord, and not to people, Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people,
because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free. Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive this back from the Lord, whether slave or free. because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.
And masters, do the same for your slaves. Give up your use of threats, because you know that He who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with Him. Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed, Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
