NASB Parallel GRK [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT GRK]
New American Standard Bible 1995Greek Study Bible
Therefore, my beloved brethren whom I long to see, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.1Ὥστε ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοὶ καὶ ἐπιπόθητοι χαρὰ καὶ στέφανός μου οὕτως στήκετε ἐν Κυρίῳ ἀγαπητοί
I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to live in harmony in the Lord.2Εὐοδίαν παρακαλῶ καὶ Συντύχην παρακαλῶ τὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖν ἐν Κυρίῳ
Indeed, true companion, I ask you also to help these women who have shared my struggle in the cause of the gospel, together with Clement also and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.3ναὶ ἐρωτῶ καὶ σέ γνήσιε σύζυγε συλλαμβάνου* αὐταῖς αἵτινες ἐν τῷ εὐαγγελίῳ συνήθλησάν μοι μετὰ καὶ Κλήμεντος καὶ τῶν λοιπῶν συνεργῶν μου ὧν τὰ ὀνόματα ἐν βίβλῳ ζωῆς
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!4Χαίρετε ἐν Κυρίῳ πάντοτε πάλιν ἐρῶ χαίρετε
Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.5τὸ ἐπιεικὲς ὑμῶν γνωσθήτω πᾶσιν ἀνθρώποις Κύριος ἐγγύς
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.6Μηδὲν μεριμνᾶτε ἀλλ’ ἐν παντὶ τῇ προσευχῇ καὶ τῇ δεήσει μετὰ εὐχαριστίας τὰ αἰτήματα ὑμῶν γνωριζέσθω πρὸς τὸν Θεόν
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.7καὶ εἰρήνη τοῦ Θεοῦ ὑπερέχουσα πάντα νοῦν φρουρήσει τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ νοήματα ὑμῶν ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.8Τὸ λοιπόν ἀδελφοί ὅσα ἐστὶν ἀληθῆ ὅσα σεμνά ὅσα δίκαια ὅσα ἁγνά ὅσα προσφιλῆ ὅσα εὔφημα εἴ τις ἀρετὴ καὶ εἴ τις ἔπαινος ταῦτα λογίζεσθε
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.9 καὶ ἐμάθετε καὶ παρελάβετε καὶ ἠκούσατε καὶ εἴδετε ἐν ἐμοί ταῦτα πράσσετε καὶ Θεὸς τῆς εἰρήνης ἔσται μεθ’ ὑμῶν
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity.10Ἐχάρην δὲ ἐν Κυρίῳ μεγάλως ὅτι ἤδη ποτὲ ἀνεθάλετε τὸ ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ φρονεῖν ἐφ’ καὶ ἐφρονεῖτε ἠκαιρεῖσθε δέ
Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.11οὐχ ὅτι καθ’ ὑστέρησιν λέγω ἐγὼ γὰρ ἔμαθον ἐν οἷς εἰμι αὐτάρκης εἶναι
I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.12οἶδα καὶ ταπεινοῦσθαι οἶδα καὶ περισσεύειν ἐν παντὶ καὶ ἐν πᾶσιν μεμύημαι καὶ χορτάζεσθαι καὶ πεινᾶν καὶ περισσεύειν καὶ ὑστερεῖσθαι
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.13πάντα ἰσχύω ἐν τῷ ἐνδυναμοῦντί με
Nevertheless, you have done well to share with me in my affliction.14Πλὴν καλῶς ἐποιήσατε συνκοινωνήσαντές μου τῇ θλίψει
You yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone;15οἴδατε δὲ καὶ ὑμεῖς Φιλιππήσιοι ὅτι ἐν ἀρχῇ τοῦ εὐαγγελίου ὅτε ἐξῆλθον ἀπὸ Μακεδονίας οὐδεμία μοι ἐκκλησία ἐκοινώνησεν εἰς λόγον δόσεως καὶ λήμψεως εἰ μὴ ὑμεῖς μόνοι
for even in Thessalonica you sent a gift more than once for my needs.16ὅτι καὶ ἐν Θεσσαλονίκῃ καὶ ἅπαξ καὶ δὶς εἰς τὴν χρείαν μοι ἐπέμψατε
Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.17Οὐχ ὅτι ἐπιζητῶ τὸ δόμα ἀλλὰ ἐπιζητῶ τὸν καρπὸν τὸν πλεονάζοντα εἰς λόγον ὑμῶν
But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.18ἀπέχω δὲ πάντα καὶ περισσεύω πεπλήρωμαι δεξάμενος παρὰ Ἐπαφροδίτου τὰ παρ’ ὑμῶν ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας θυσίαν δεκτήν εὐάρεστον τῷ Θεῷ
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.19 δὲ Θεός μου πληρώσει πᾶσαν χρείαν ὑμῶν κατὰ τὸ πλοῦτος αὐτοῦ ἐν δόξῃ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ
Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.20τῷ δὲ Θεῷ καὶ Πατρὶ ἡμῶν δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων ἀμήν
Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you.21Ἀσπάσασθε πάντα ἅγιον ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ Ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς οἱ σὺν ἐμοὶ ἀδελφοί
All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar's household.22Ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς πάντες οἱ ἅγιοι μάλιστα δὲ οἱ ἐκ τῆς Καίσαρος οἰκίας
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.23 χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ μετὰ τοῦ πνεύματος ὑμῶν ⧼Ἀμήν⧽
