Ἀδελφοί
ἐὰν
καὶ
προλημφθῇ
ἄνθρωπος
ἔν
τινι
παραπτώματι
ὑμεῖς
οἱ
πνευματικοὶ
καταρτίζετε
τὸν
τοιοῦτον
ἐν
πνεύματι
πραΰτητος
σκοπῶν
σεαυτόν
μὴ
καὶ
σὺ
πειρασθῇς
Brothers,
if
someone
is caught
in
a
trespass,
you
who are
spiritual
should restore
him
with
a spirit
of gentleness.
But watch
yourself,
or
you
also
may be tempted.
Brethren,
if
a man
be overtaken
in
a
fault,
ye
which
are spiritual,
restore
such an one
in
the spirit
of meekness;
considering
thyself,
lest
thou
also
be tempted.
2
Ἀλλήλων
τὰ
βάρη
βαστάζετε
καὶ
οὕτως
ἀναπληρώσετε
τὸν
νόμον
τοῦ
Χριστοῦ
Carry
one another’s
burdens,
and
in this way
you will fulfill
the
law
of Christ.
Bear ye
one another's
burdens,
and
so
fulfil
the law
of Christ.
3
εἰ
γὰρ
δοκεῖ
τις
εἶναί
τι
μηδὲν
ὤν
φρεναπατᾷ
ἑαυτόν
If
anyone
thinks
he is
something
when he is
nothing,
he deceives
himself.
For
if a man
think himself
to be
something,
when he is
nothing,
he deceiveth
himself.
4
Τὸ
δὲ
ἔργον
ἑαυτοῦ
δοκιμαζέτω
ἕκαστος
καὶ
τότε
εἰς
ἑαυτὸν
μόνον
τὸ
καύχημα
ἕξει
καὶ
οὐκ
εἰς
τὸν
ἕτερον
Each one
should test
his own
work.
Then
he will have
reason to boast
in
himself
alone,
and
not
in
someone else.
But
let
every man
prove
his own
work,
and
then
shall he have
rejoicing
in
himself
alone,
and
not
in
another.
5
ἕκαστος
γὰρ
τὸ
ἴδιον
φορτίον
βαστάσει
For
each one
should carry
his own
load.
For
every man
shall bear
his own
burden.
6
Κοινωνείτω
δὲ
ὁ
κατηχούμενος
τὸν
λόγον
τῷ
κατηχοῦντι
ἐν
πᾶσιν
ἀγαθοῖς
Nevertheless,
the one who
receives instruction
in the
word
must share
in
all
good things
with his
instructor.
Let
him that is taught
in the word
communicate
unto him that teacheth
in
all
good things.
7
Μὴ
πλανᾶσθε
Θεὸς
οὐ
μυκτηρίζεται
ὃ
γὰρ
ἐὰν
σπείρῃ
ἄνθρωπος
τοῦτο
καὶ
θερίσει
Do not
be deceived:
God
is not
to be mocked.
Whatever
a man
sows,
he will reap in return.
Be
not
deceived;
God
is
not
mocked:
for
whatsoever
a man
soweth,
that
shall he
also
reap.
8
ὅτι
ὁ
σπείρων
εἰς
τὴν
σάρκα
ἑαυτοῦ
ἐκ
τῆς
σαρκὸς
θερίσει
φθοράν
ὁ
δὲ
σπείρων
εἰς
τὸ
Πνεῦμα
ἐκ
τοῦ
Πνεύματος
θερίσει
ζωὴν
αἰώνιον
The one
who sows
to please
his
flesh,
from
the
flesh
will reap
destruction;
but
the one
who sows
to please
the
Spirit,
from
the
Spirit
will reap
eternal
life.
For
he that soweth
to
his
flesh
shall
of
the flesh
reap
corruption;
but
he that soweth
to
the Spirit
shall
of
the Spirit
reap
life
everlasting.
9
Τὸ
δὲ
καλὸν
ποιοῦντες
μὴ
ἐνκακῶμεν
καιρῷ
γὰρ
ἰδίῳ
θερίσομεν
μὴ
ἐκλυόμενοι
Let us not grow weary
in well-doing,
for
in due
time
we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up.
And
let us
not
be weary
in well
doing:
for
in due
season
we shall reap,
if we faint
not.
10
Ἄρα
οὖν
ὡς
καιρὸν
ἔχομεν*
ἐργαζώμεθα
τὸ
ἀγαθὸν
πρὸς
πάντας
μάλιστα
δὲ
πρὸς
τοὺς
οἰκείους
τῆς
πίστεως
Therefore,
as
we have
opportunity,
let us do
good
to
everyone,
and
especially
to
the
family
of
faith.
As
we have
therefore
opportunity,
let us do
good
unto
all
[men], especially
unto
them who are of the household
of faith.
11
Ἴδετε
πηλίκοις
ὑμῖν
γράμμασιν
ἔγραψα
τῇ
ἐμῇ
χειρί
See
what large
letters
I am using to write
to you
with
my own
hand!
Ye see
how large
a letter
I have written
unto you
with mine own
hand.
12
Ὅσοι
θέλουσιν
εὐπροσωπῆσαι
ἐν
σαρκί
οὗτοι
ἀναγκάζουσιν
ὑμᾶς
περιτέμνεσθαι
μόνον
ἵνα
τῷ
σταυρῷ
τοῦ
Χριστοῦ
(Ἰησοῦ)
μὴ
διώκωνται
Those who
want
to make a good impression
outwardly
are trying to compel
you
to be circumcised.
They only do this
to
avoid
persecution
for the
cross
of Christ.
As many as
desire
to make a fair shew
in
the flesh,
they
constrain
you
to be circumcised;
only
lest
they should suffer persecution
for the cross
of Christ.
13
οὐδὲ
γὰρ
οἱ
περιτεμνόμενοι
αὐτοὶ
νόμον
φυλάσσουσιν
ἀλλὰ
θέλουσιν
ὑμᾶς
περιτέμνεσθαι
ἵνα
ἐν
τῇ
ὑμετέρᾳ
σαρκὶ
καυχήσωνται
For
the
circumcised
do not even
keep
the law
themselves,
yet
they want
you
to be circumcised
that
they may boast
in
your
flesh.
For
neither
they themselves
who are circumcised
keep
the law;
but
desire
to have
you
circumcised,
that
they may glory
in
your
flesh.
14
Ἐμοὶ
δὲ
μὴ
γένοιτο
καυχᾶσθαι
εἰ
μὴ
ἐν
τῷ
σταυρῷ
τοῦ
Κυρίου
ἡμῶν
Ἰησοῦ
Χριστοῦ
δι’
οὗ
ἐμοὶ
κόσμος
ἐσταύρωται
κἀγὼ
κόσμῳ
But
as for me,
may
I never
boast,
except
in
the
cross
of our
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
through
which
the world
has been crucified
to me,
and I
to the world.
But
God forbid
that I
should glory,
save
in
the cross
of our
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
by
whom
the world
is crucified
unto me,
and I
unto the world.
15
οὔτε
γὰρ
περιτομή
τί
ἐστιν
οὔτε
ἀκροβυστία
ἀλλὰ
καινὴ
κτίσις
For
neither
circumcision
nor
uncircumcision
means
anything.
What counts is
a new
creation.
For
in
Christ
Jesus
neither
circumcision
availeth
any thing,
nor
uncircumcision,
but
a new
creature.
16
Καὶ

Ἰσραὴλ
τοῦ
Θεοῦ
Peace
and
mercy
to
all
who
walk
by this
rule,
even
to
the
Israel
of God.
And
as many as
walk
according to
this
rule,
peace
[be] on
them,
and
mercy,
and
upon
the Israel
of God.

From now on
let no one
cause
me
trouble,
for
I
bear
on
my
body
the
marks
of Jesus.
From henceforth
let
no man
trouble
me:
for
I
bear
in
my
body
the marks
of the Lord
Jesus.

Ἀμήν
The

Amen.
Brethren,
the grace

Amen.
