| 1Then He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again. | 1Then Jesus left that place and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan River. Again crowds gathered to him, and again, as was his custom, he taught them. |
| 2The Pharisees came and asked Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” testing Him. | 2Then some Pharisees came, and to test him they asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?" |
| 3And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?” | 3He answered them, "What did Moses command you?" |

| 46Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. | 46They came to Jericho. | 52Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. | 52Jesus said to him, "Go, your faith has healed you." Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the road. |
