and gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south. and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. 4 Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no path to a city in which to dwell. Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. They wandered in the wilderness in a desert region; They did not find a way to an inhabited city. Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle.
They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them. hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. They were hungry and thirsty; Their souls felt weak within them. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.
He led them on a straight path to reach a city where they could live. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. He also had them walk on a straight way, To go to an inhabited city. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! They shall give thanks to the LORD for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind! Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and chains, Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; There were those who lived in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains, Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains,
because they rebelled against the words of God and despised the counsel of the Most High. for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: Because they had rebelled against the words of God And rejected the plan of the Most High. because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High.
He humbled their hearts with hard labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help. So he bowed their hearts down with hard labor; they fell down, with none to help. Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help. Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was no one to help. So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.

Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke away their chains. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death And broke their bands apart. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
For He has broken down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron. For he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts in two the bars of iron. For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. For He has shattered gates of bronze And cut off bars of iron. for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.
Fools, in their rebellious ways, and through their iniquities, suffered affliction. Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction; Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Fools, because of their rebellious way, And because of their guilty deeds, were afflicted. Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.
They loathed all food and drew near to the gates of death. they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. Their souls loathed all kinds of food, And they came close to the gates of death. They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 23 Others went out to sea in ships, conducting trade on the mighty waters. Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the great waters; They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters; Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters.
They saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep. they saw the deeds of the LORD, his wondrous works in the deep. These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. They have seen the works of the LORD, And His wonders in the deep. They saw the works of the LORD, his wonderful deeds in the deep.
For He spoke and raised a tempest that lifted the waves of the sea. For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. For He spoke and raised a stormy wind, Which lifted the waves of the sea. For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.
They mounted up to the heavens, then sunk to the depths; their courage melted in their anguish. They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight; They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; Their soul melted away in their misery. They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away.
They reeled and staggered like drunkards, and all their skill was useless. they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits’ end. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end. They reeled and staggered like a drunken person, And were at their wits’ end. They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brought them out of their distresses. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.
He calmed the storm to a whisper, and the waves of the sea were hushed. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.
They rejoiced in the silence, and He guided them to the harbor they desired. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired harbor. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
Let them exalt Him in the assembly of the people and praise Him in the council of the elders. Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. They shall also exalt Him in the congregation of the people, And praise Him at the seat of the elders. Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders.
He turns rivers into deserts, springs of water into thirsty ground, He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; He turns rivers into a wilderness, And springs of water into a thirsty ground; He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground,
and fruitful land into fields of salt, because of the wickedness of its dwellers. a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the evil of its inhabitants. A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. And a fruitful land into a salt waste, Because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it. and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there.
He turns a desert into pools of water and a dry land into flowing springs. He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. He turns a wilderness into a pool of water, And a dry land into springs of water; He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs;
He causes the hungry to settle there, that they may establish a city in which to dwell. And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; And He has the hungry live there, So that they may establish an inhabited city, there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could settle.
They sow fields and plant vineyards that yield a fruitful harvest. they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. And sow fields and plant vineyards, And gather a fruitful harvest. They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest;
He blesses them, and they multiply greatly; He does not let their herds diminish. By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish. He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease. He also blesses them and they multiply greatly, And He does not let their cattle decrease. he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herds diminish.
When they are decreased and humbled by oppression, evil, and sorrow, When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, evil, and sorrow, Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow. When they become few and lowly Because of oppression, misery, and sorrow, Then their numbers decreased, and they were humbled by oppression, calamity and sorrow;
He pours out contempt on the nobles and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland. he pours contempt on princes and makes them wander in trackless wastes; He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way. He pours contempt upon noblemen And makes them wander in a pathless wasteland. he who pours contempt on nobles made them wander in a trackless waste.
But He lifts the needy from affliction and increases their families like flocks. but he raises up the needy out of affliction and makes their families like flocks. Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock. But He sets the needy securely on high, away from affliction, And makes his families like a flock. But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks.
The upright see and rejoice, and all iniquity shuts its mouth. The upright see it and are glad, and all wickedness shuts its mouth. The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. The upright see it and are glad; But all injustice shuts its mouth. The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths.
Let him who is wise pay heed to these things and consider the loving devotion of the LORD. Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the LORD. Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD. Who is wise? He is to pay attention to these things, And consider the mercy of the LORD. Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the LORD.
