1	These the departure of the sons of Israel who will go from the land of Egypt according to their army by the hand of Moses and Aaron.	These are the stages of the people of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their companies under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.	Here are the stages in the journey of the Israelites when they came out of Egypt by divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
2	And Moses will write their goings out according to their departures by the mouth of Jehovah: and these their departures according to their goings out.	Moses wrote down their starting places, stage by stage, by command of the LORD, and these are their stages according to their starting places.	At the LORD’s command Moses recorded the stages in their journey. This is their journey by stages:
3	And they will remove from Rameses in the first month, in the fifteenth day to the first month: on the morrow of the passover and the sons of Israel went forth with a high hand before the eyes of all the Egyptians.	They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover, the people of Israel went out triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians,	The Israelites set out from Rameses on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the Passover. They marched out defiantly in full view of all the Egyptians,
4	And the Egyptians burying whom Jehovah smote among them, all the first-born: and upon their gods Jehovah did judgments.	while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down among them. On their gods also the LORD executed judgments.	who were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down among them; for the LORD had brought judgment on their gods.
5	And the sons of Israel will remove from Rameses, and they will encamp in Succoth.	So the people of Israel set out from Rameses and camped at Succoth.	The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Sukkoth.
6	And they will remove from Succoth, and encamp in Etham, which is in the extremity of the desert.	And they set out from Succoth and camped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.	They left Sukkoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the desert.
7	And they will remove from Etham, and dwell upon the mouth of Hiroth, which is before Baal-Zephon: and they will encamp before Migdol.	And they set out from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which is east of Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol.	They left Etham, turned back to Pi Hahiroth, to the east of Baal Zephon, and camped near Migdol.
8	And they will remove from before Hiroth, and they will pass through the midst of the sea of the desert, and they will go a way of three days in the desert of Etham, and they will encamp in Marah.	And they set out from before Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and they went a three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.	They left Pi Hahiroth and passed through the sea into the desert, and when they had traveled for three days in the Desert of Etham, they camped at Marah.
9	And they will remove from Marah and will come to Elim: and in Elim twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees; and they will encamp there.	And they set out from Marah and came to Elim; at Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.	They left Marah and went to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
10	And they will remove from Elim, and encamp by the sea of sedge.	And they set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.	They left Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
11	And they will remove from the sea of sedge, and encamp in the desert of Sin.	And they set out from the Red Sea and camped in the wilderness of Sin.	They left the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.
12	And they will remove from the desert of Sin, and encamp in Dophkah.	And they set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah.	They left the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
13	And they will remove from Dophkah, and encamp in Alush.	And they set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush.	They left Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14	And they will remove from Alush, and encamp in Rephidim; and no water was there for the people to drink.	And they set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.	They left Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
15	And they will remove from Rephidim, and encamp in the desert of Sinai.	And they set out from Rephidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai.	They left Rephidim and camped in the Desert of Sinai.
16	And they will remove from the desert of Sinai, and encamp in the Sepulchres of Longing.	And they set out from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth-hattaavah.	They left the Desert of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.
17	And they will remove from the Sepulchres of Longing, and encamp in Hazeroth.	And they set out from Kibroth-hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.	They left Kibroth Hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.
18	And they will remove from Hazeroth, and encamp in Rithmah.	And they set out from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.	They left Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
19	And they will remove from Rithmah, and encamp in Rimmon-Parez.	And they set out from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon-perez.	They left Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.
20	And they will remove from Rimmon-Parez, and encamp in Libnah.	And they set out from Rimmon-perez and camped at Libnah.	They left Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.
21	And they will remove from Libnah, and encamp in Rissah.	And they set out from Libnah and camped at Rissah.	They left Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22	And they will remove from Rissah, and encamp in Kehelathah.	And they set out from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.	They left Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23	And they will remove from Kehelathah, and encamp in mount Shapher.	And they set out from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.	They left Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24	And they will remove from mount Shapher and encamp in Haradah.	And they set out from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.	They left Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25	And they will remove from Haradah, and encamp in Makheloth.	And they set out from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.	They left Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26	And they will remove from Makheloth, and encamp in Tahath.	And they set out from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.	They left Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27	And they will remove from Tahath, and encamp in Tarah.	And they set out from Tahath and camped at Terah.	They left Tahath and camped at Terah.
28	And they will remove from Tarah, and encamp in Mithcah.	And they set out from Terah and camped at Mithkah.	They left Terah and camped at Mithkah.

32	And they will remove from the sons of Jakan, and encamp in the mount of Gidgad.	And they set out from Bene-jaakan and camped at Hor-haggidgad.	They left Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Haggidgad.
33	And they will remove from the mount of Gidgad, and encamp in Jotbathah.	And they set out from Hor-haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.	They left Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
34	And they will remove from Jotbathah, and encamp in Ebionah.	And they set out from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.	They left Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
35	And they will remove from Ebionah, and encamp in Ezion-Gaber.	And they set out from Abronah and camped at Ezion-geber.	They left Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.
36	And they will remove from Ezion-Gaber, and encamp in the desert of Zin; it Kadesh.	And they set out from Ezion-geber and camped in the wilderness of Zin (that is, Kadesh).	They left Ezion Geber and camped at Kadesh, in the Desert of Zin.
37	And they will remove from Kadesh, and encamp in mount Hor, in the extremity of the land of Edom.	And they set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the edge of the land of Edom.	They left Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the border of Edom.
38	And Aaron the priest will go up to mount Hor by the mouth of Jehovah, and will die there in the fortieth year to the coming out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, in one to the month.	And Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor at the command of the LORD and died there, in the fortieth year after the people of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.	At the LORD’s command Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor, where he died on the first day of the fifth month of the fortieth year after the Israelites came out of Egypt.
39	And Aaron the son of three and twenty and a hundred years in his dying in mount Hor.	And Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.	Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40	And the Canaanite, king Arad, will hear, and he will dwell in the south in the land Canaan, in the coming of the sons of Israel.	And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the Negeb in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the people of Israel.	The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming.
41	And they will remove from mount Hor, and encamp in Zalmonah.	And they set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.	They left Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42	And they will remove from Zalmonah, and encamp in Punon.	And they set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.	They left Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43	And they will remove from Pinion, and encamp in Oboth.	And they set out from Punon and camped at Oboth.	They left Punon and camped at Oboth.
44	And they will remove from Oboth, and encamp in the heaps of Abarim, in the bound of Moab.	And they set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim, in the territory of Moab.	They left Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, on the border of Moab.
45	And they will remove from the heaps, and encamp in Dibon-Gad.	And they set out from Iyim and camped at Dibon-gad.	They left Iye Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad.
46	And they will remove from Dibon-Gad, and encamp in Almon-Diblathaim.	And they set out from Dibon-gad and camped at Almon-diblathaim.	They left Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.
47	And they will remove from Almon-Diblathaim, and encamp in the mountains of Abarim before Nebo.	And they set out from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.	They left Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, near Nebo.
48	And they will remove from the mountains of Abarim, and encamp in the desert of Moab by Jordan of Jericho.	And they set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho;	They left the mountains of Abarim and camped on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
49	And they will encamp by Jordan, from the house of Jesimoth, to the meadow of acacias in the desert of Moab.	they camped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.	There on the plains of Moab they camped along the Jordan from Beth Jeshimoth to Abel Shittim.
50	And Jehovah will speak to Moses in the desert of Moab, by Jordan of Jericho, saying,	And the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,	On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho the LORD said to Moses,
51	Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When ye are passing over Jordan to the land of Canaan,	“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,	“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,
52	And have driven out all those dwelling in the land from before you, and destroy ye all their watch towers, and all their molten images ye shall destroy, and all their heights ye shall lay waste:	then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their figured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places.	drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you. Destroy all their carved images and their cast idols, and demolish all their high places.
53	And dispossess ye the land and dwell in it, for to you, I gave the land to possess it.	And you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it.	Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.
54	And divide ye the land by lot to your tribes: to the many ye shall multiply his inheritance, and to the few ye shall diminish his inheritance; to whom shall come forth to him, there shall the lot be to him; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.	You shall inherit the land by lot according to your clans. To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance. Wherever the lot falls for anyone, that shall be his. According to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.	Distribute the land by lot, according to your clans. To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one. Whatever falls to them by lot will be theirs. Distribute it according to your ancestral tribes.
55	And if ye shall not drive out those dwelling in the land from before you, and it shall be whom ye shall leave from them for thorns in your eyes, and for prickles in your sides; and they pressed you upon the land which ye shall dwell upon it.	But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those of them whom you let remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land where you dwell.	“’But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.
56	And it was as I purposed to do to them I will do to you.	And I will do to you as I thought to do to them.”	And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.’”
