| 32 | This is the sacrifice of a leper, that is not able to have all things that appertain to his cleansing. | This is the law for him in whom is a case of leprous disease, who cannot afford the offerings for his cleansing.” | These are the regulations for anyone who has a defiling skin disease and who cannot afford the regular offerings for their cleansing. | |

| 34 | When you shall be come into the land of Chanaan, which I will give you for a possession, if there be the plague of leprosy in a house, | “When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a case of leprous disease in a house in the land of your possession, | “When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mold in a house in that land, | |
| 35 | He whose house it is, shall go and tell the priest, saying: It seemeth to me, that there is the plague of leprosy in my house, | then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, ‘There seems to me to be some case of disease in my house.’ | the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house.’ | |
| 36 | And he shall command, that they carry forth all things out of the house, before he go into it, and see whether it have the leprosy, lest all things become unclean that are in the house. And after- wards he shall go in to view the leprosy of the house. | Then the priest shall command that they empty the house before the priest goes to examine the disease, lest all that is in the house be declared unclean. And afterward the priest shall go in to see the house. | The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. After this the priest is to go in and inspect the house. | |
| 37 | And if he see in the walls thereof as it were little dints, disfigured with paleness or redness, and lower than all the rest, | And he shall examine the disease. And if the disease is in the walls of the house with greenish or reddish spots, and if it appears to be deeper than the surface, | He is to examine the mold on the walls, and if it has greenish or reddish depressions that appear to be deeper than the surface of the wall, | |
| 38 | He shall go out of the door of the house, and forthwith shut it up seven days, | then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house and shut up the house seven days. | the priest shall go out the doorway of the house and close it up for seven days. | |
| 39 | And returning on the seventh day, he shall look upon it. If he find that the leprosy is spread, | And the priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the disease has spread in the walls of the house, | On the seventh day the priest shall return to inspect the house. If the mold has spread on the walls, | |
| 40 | He shall command, that the stones wherein the leprosy is, be taken out, and cast without the city into an unclean place: | then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the disease and throw them into an unclean place outside the city. | he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. | |
| 41 | And that the house be scraped on the inside round about, and the dust of the scraping be scattered without the city into an unclean place: | And he shall have the inside of the house scraped all around, and the plaster that they scrape off they shall pour out in an unclean place outside the city. | He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. | |
| 42 | And that other stones be laid in the place of them that were taken away, and the house be plastered with other mortar. | Then they shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones, and he shall take other plaster and plaster the house. | Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house. | |
| 43 | But if, after the stones be taken out, and the dust scraped off, and it be plastered with other earth, | “If the disease breaks out again in the house, after he has taken out the stones and scraped the house and plastered it, | “If the defiling mold reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house scraped and plastered, | |
| 44 | The priest going in perceive that the leprosy is returned, and the walls full of spots, it is a lasting leprosy, and the house is unclean: | then the priest shall go and look. And if the disease has spread in the house, it is a persistent leprous disease in the house; it is unclean. | the priest is to go and examine it and, if the mold has spread in the house, it is a persistent defiling mold; the house is unclean. | |
| 45 | And they shall destroy it forthwith, and shall cast the stones and timber thereof, and all the dust without the town into an unclean place. | And he shall break down the house, its stones and timber and all the plaster of the house, and he shall carry them out of the city to an unclean place. | It must be torn down—its stones, timbers and all the plaster—and taken out of the town to an unclean place. | |

| 57 | That it may be known when a thing is clean or unclean. | to show when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law for leprous disease. | to determine when something is clean or unclean. These are the regulations for defiling skin diseases and defiling molds. | |
