בַּתְּחִלָּֽה׃
In the third
year
of the reign
of King
Belshazzar,
a vision
appeared
to me,
Daniel,
subsequent
to the one that had appeared
to me
earlier.
In the third
year
of the reign
of king
Belshazzar
a vision
appeared
unto me, [even unto] me Daniel,
after
that which appeared
unto me at the first.

And in the vision
I saw
myself
in the citadel
of Susa,
in the province
of Elam.
I saw
in the vision
that I
was
beside
the Ulai
Canal.
And I saw
in a vision;
and it came to pass, when I saw,
that I [was] at Shushan
[in] the palace,
which [is] in the province
of Elam;
and I saw
in a vision,
and I was by the river
of Ulai.

Then I lifted up

a ram

two horns
standing
beside

The horns
were long,
but one
was longer
than
the other,
and the longer
one grew up
later.
Then I lifted up
mine eyes,
and saw,
and, behold, there stood
before

a

which had [two] horns:
and the [two] horns

but one

I saw

charging

No

and there was no

He did
as he pleased

I saw

so that no beasts

As I

suddenly
a goat

out of

crossing
the surface

earth
without
touching

And as I was considering,
behold, an he

of the whole earth,
and touched

and the goat

I saw him
approach

and he struck

The ram
was
powerless
to stand
against him,
and the goat threw him
to the ground
and trampled him,
and
no one
could deliver
the ram
from his power.
And I saw
him come
close unto
the ram,
and he was moved with choler
against him, and smote
the ram,
and brake
his two

and there was no power
in the ram
to stand

to the ground,
and stamped
upon him: and there was none that could deliver
the ram

Thus the goat
became
very
great,
but at the height of his power,
his large

was broken off,
and four

in its place,
pointing toward the four

Therefore the he

And in the rebellion,

and it flung

in whatever it did.
And an host

and it cast down
