(Exodus 37:25-29)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
1"Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense.1“You shall make an altar on which to burn incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.1"Moreover, you shall make an altar as a place for burning incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.1And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.1You are to make an altar for the burning of incense; make it of acacia wood.
2It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high --its horns of one piece with it.2A cubit shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth. It shall be square, and two cubits shall be its height. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.2"Its length shall be a cubit, and its width a cubit, it shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits; its horns shall be of one piece with it.2A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same.2It must be square, 18 inches long and 18 inches wide; it must be 36 inches high. Its horns must be of one piece.
3Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.3You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and around its sides and its horns. And you shall make a molding of gold around it.3"You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding all around for it.3And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.3Overlay its top, all around its sides, and its horns with pure gold; make a gold molding all around it.
4Make two gold rings for the altar below the molding--two on each of the opposite sides--to hold the poles used to carry it.4And you shall make two golden rings for it. Under its molding on two opposite sides of it you shall make them, and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it.4"You shall make two gold rings for it under its molding; you shall make them on its two side walls-- on opposite sides-- and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it.4And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.4Make two gold rings for it under the molding on two of its sides; put these on opposite sides of it to be holders for the poles to carry it with.

5Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.5You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.5"You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.5And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.5Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold."
6Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law--before the atonement cover that is over the tablets of the covenant law--where I will meet with you.6And you shall put it in front of the veil that is above the ark of the testimony, in front of the mercy seat that is above the testimony, where I will meet with you.6"You shall put this altar in front of the veil that is near the ark of the testimony, in front of the mercy seat that is over the ark of the testimony, where I will meet with you.6And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.6You are to place the altar in front of the veil by the ark of the testimony--in front of the mercy seat that is over the testimony--where I will meet with you.
7"Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps.7And Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it. Every morning when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it,7"Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.7And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.7Aaron must burn fragrant incense on it; he must burn it every morning when he tends the lamps.
8He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the LORD for the generations to come.8and when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn it, a regular incense offering before the LORD throughout your generations.8"When Aaron trims the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.8And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.8When Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he must burn incense. There is to be an incense offering before the LORD throughout your generations.
9Do not offer on this altar any other incense or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it.9You shall not offer unauthorized incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering, and you shall not pour a drink offering on it.9"You shall not offer any strange incense on this altar, or burnt offering or meal offering; and you shall not pour out a drink offering on it.9Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.9You must not offer unauthorized incense on it, or a burnt or grain offering; you are not to pour a drink offering on it."
10Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering for the generations to come. It is most holy to the LORD."10Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year. With the blood of the sin offering of atonement he shall make atonement for it once in the year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD.”10"Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD."10And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.10Once a year Aaron is to perform the purification rite on the horns of the altar. Throughout your generations he is to perform the purification rite for it once a year, with the blood of the sin offering for atonement. The altar is especially holy to the LORD."

The Atonement Money

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
11Then the LORD said to Moses,11The LORD said to Moses,11The LORD also spoke to Moses, saying,11And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,11The LORD spoke to Moses: "
12"When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay the LORD a ransom for his life at the time he is counted. Then no plague will come on them when you number them.12“When you take the census of the people of Israel, then each shall give a ransom for his life to the LORD when you number them, that there be no plague among them when you number them.12"When you take a census of the sons of Israel to number them, then each one of them shall give a ransom for himself to the LORD, when you number them, so that there will be no plague among them when you number them.12When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.12When you take a census of the Israelites to register them, each of the men must pay a ransom for himself to the LORD as they are registered. Then no plague will come on them as they are registered.
13Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering to the LORD.13Each one who is numbered in the census shall give this: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs), half a shekel as an offering to the LORD.13"This is what everyone who is numbered shall give: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs), half a shekel as a contribution to the LORD.13This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.13Everyone who is registered must pay half a shekel according to the sanctuary shekel (20 gerahs to the shekel). This half shekel is a contribution to the LORD.
14All who cross over, those twenty years old or more, are to give an offering to the LORD.14Everyone who is numbered in the census, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the LORD’s offering.14"Everyone who is numbered, from twenty years old and over, shall give the contribution to the LORD.14Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.14Each man who is registered, 20 years old or more, must give this contribution to the LORD.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
15The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives.15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when you give the LORD’s offering to make atonement for your lives.15"The rich shall not pay more and the poor shall not pay less than the half shekel, when you give the contribution to the LORD to make atonement for yourselves.15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.15The wealthy may not give more and the poor may not give less than half a shekel when giving the contribution to the LORD to atone for your lives.
16Receive the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting. It will be a memorial for the Israelites before the LORD, making atonement for your lives."16You shall take the atonement money from the people of Israel and shall give it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may bring the people of Israel to remembrance before the LORD, so as to make atonement for your lives.”16"You shall take the atonement money from the sons of Israel and shall give it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may be a memorial for the sons of Israel before the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves."16And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.16Take the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting. It will serve as a reminder for the Israelites before the LORD to atone for your lives."

The Bronze Basin

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
17Then the LORD said to Moses,17The LORD said to Moses,17The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,17The LORD spoke to Moses: "
18"Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.18“You shall also make a basin of bronze, with its stand of bronze, for washing. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it,18"You shall also make a laver of bronze, with its base of bronze, for washing; and you shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.18Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.18Make a bronze basin for washing and a bronze stand for it. Set it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
19Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it.19with which Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.19"Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet from it;19For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:19Aaron and his sons must wash their hands and feet from the basin.
20Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the LORD,20When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn a food offering to the LORD, they shall wash with water, so that they may not die.20when they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, so that they will not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, by offering up in smoke a fire sacrifice to the LORD.20When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:20Whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister by burning up an offering to the LORD, they must wash with water so that they will not die.
21they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come."21They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die. It shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his offspring throughout their generations.”21"So they shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they will not die; and it shall be a perpetual statute for them, for Aaron and his descendants throughout their generations."21So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.21They must wash their hands and feet so that they will not die; this is to be a permanent statute for them, for Aaron and his descendants throughout their generations."

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
26Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law,26With it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony,26"With it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony,26And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,26With it you are to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony,
27the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense,27and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,27and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,27And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,27the table with all its utensils, the lampstand with its utensils, the altar of incense,

29You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.29You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them will become holy.29"You shall also consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy.29And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.29Consecrate them and they will be especially holy. Whatever touches them will be consecrated.
30"Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.30You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.30"You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister as priests to Me.30And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.30Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to serve Me as priests."
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
31Say to the Israelites, 'This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.31And you shall say to the people of Israel, ‘This shall be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations.31"You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations.31And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.31Tell the Israelites: This will be My holy anointing oil throughout your generations.
32Do not pour it on anyone else's body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.32It shall not be poured on the body of an ordinary person, and you shall make no other like it in composition. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you.32It shall not be poured on anyone's body, nor shall you make any like it in the same proportions; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you.32Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.32It must not be used for ordinary anointing on a person's body, and you must not make anything like it using its formula. It is holy, and it must be holy to you.
33Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.'"33Whoever compounds any like it or whoever puts any of it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.’”33Whoever shall mix any like it or whoever puts any of it on a layman shall be cut off from his people.'"33Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.33Anyone who blends something like it or puts some of it on an unauthorized person must be cut off from his people."

The Incense

34Then the LORD said to Moses, "Take fragrant spices--gum resin, onycha and galbanum--and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts,34The LORD said to Moses, “Take sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense (of each shall there be an equal part),34Then the LORD said to Moses, "Take for yourself spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, spices with pure frankincense; there shall be an equal part of each.34And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:34The LORD said to Moses: "Take fragrant spices: stacte, onycha, and galbanum; the spices and pure frankincense are to be in equal measures.
35and make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer. It is to be salted and pure and sacred.35and make an incense blended as by the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.35"With it you shall make incense, a perfume, the work of a perfumer, salted, pure, and holy.35And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:35Prepare expertly blended incense from these; it is to be seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
36Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.36You shall beat some of it very small, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I shall meet with you. It shall be most holy for you.36"You shall beat some of it very fine, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it shall be most holy to you.36And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.36Grind some of it into a fine powder and put some in front of the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It must be especially holy to you.
37Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy to the LORD.37And the incense that you shall make according to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves. It shall be for you holy to the LORD.37"The incense which you shall make, you shall not make in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for the LORD.37And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD.37As for the incense you are making, you must not make any for yourselves using its formula. It is to be regarded by you as sacred to the LORD.
38Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off from their people."38Whoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from his people.”38"Whoever shall make any like it, to use as perfume, shall be cut off from his people."38Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.38Anyone who makes something like it to smell its fragrance must be cut off from his people."
