“This is the law of the guilt offering. It is most holy.1“Now this is the law of the guilt offering, which is most holy:
In the place where they kill the burnt offering they shall kill the guilt offering, and its blood shall be thrown against the sides of the altar.2The guilt offering must be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and the priest shall sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.
And all its fat shall be offered, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails,3And all the fat from it shall be offered: the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails,
the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys.4both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which is to be removed with the kidneys.
The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering to the LORD; it is a guilt offering.5The priest shall burn them on the altar as an offering made by fire to the LORD; it is a guilt offering.
Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy.6Every male among the priests may eat of it. It must be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.
The guilt offering is just like the sin offering; there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.7The guilt offering is like the sin offering; the same law applies to both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.
And the priest who offers any man’s burnt offering shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering that he has offered.8As for the priest who presents a burnt offering for anyone, the hide of that offering belongs to him.
And every grain offering baked in the oven and all that is prepared on a pan or a griddle shall belong to the priest who offers it.9Likewise, every grain offering that is baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or on a griddle belongs to the priest who presents it,
And every grain offering, mixed with oil or dry, shall be shared equally among all the sons of Aaron.10and every grain offering, whether dry or mixed with oil, belongs equally to all the sons of Aaron.
“And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings that one may offer to the LORD.11Now this is the law of the peace offering that one may present to the LORD:
If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the thanksgiving sacrifice unleavened loaves mixed with oil, unleavened wafers smeared with oil, and loaves of fine flour well mixed with oil.12If he offers it in thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer unleavened cakes mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers coated with oil, and well-kneaded cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.
With the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving he shall bring his offering with loaves of leavened bread.13Along with his peace offering of thanksgiving he is to present an offering with cakes of leavened bread.
And from it he shall offer one loaf from each offering, as a gift to the LORD. It shall belong to the priest who throws the blood of the peace offerings.14From the cakes he must present one portion of each offering as a contribution to the LORD. It belongs to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.15The meat of the sacrifice of his peace offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day he offers it; none of it may be left until morning.
But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow offering or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten.16If, however, the sacrifice he offers is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, but the remainder may be eaten on the next day.
But what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned up with fire.17But any meat of the sacrifice remaining until the third day must be burned up.
If any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offering is eaten on the third day, he who offers it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be credited to him. It is tainted, and he who eats of it shall bear his iniquity.18If any of the meat from his peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be credited to the one who presented it; it shall be an abomination, and the one who eats of it shall bear his iniquity.
“Flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned up with fire. All who are clean may eat flesh,19Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be burned up. As for any other meat, anyone who is ceremonially clean may eat it.
but the person who eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of the LORD’s peace offerings while an uncleanness is on him, that person shall be cut off from his people.20But if anyone who is unclean eats meat from the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.
And if anyone touches an unclean thing, whether human uncleanness or an unclean beast or any unclean detestable creature, and then eats some flesh from the sacrifice of the LORD’s peace offerings, that person shall be cut off from his people.”21If one touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any unclean, detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the peace offering that belongs to the LORD, that person must be cut off from his people.”
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,22Then the LORD said to Moses,
“Speak to the people of Israel, saying, You shall eat no fat, of ox or sheep or goat.23“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘You are not to eat any of the fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.
The fat of an animal that dies of itself and the fat of one that is torn by beasts may be put to any other use, but on no account shall you eat it.24The fat of an animal found dead or mauled by wild beasts may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it.
For every person who eats of the fat of an animal of which a food offering may be made to the LORD shall be cut off from his people.25If anyone eats the fat of an animal from which an offering made by fire may be presented to the LORD, the one who eats it must be cut off from his people.
Moreover, you shall eat no blood whatever, whether of fowl or of animal, in any of your dwelling places.26You must not eat the blood of any bird or animal in any of your dwellings.
Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.”27If anyone eats blood, that person must be cut off from his people.’ ”
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,28Then the LORD said to Moses,
“Speak to the people of Israel, saying, Whoever offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to the LORD shall bring his offering to the LORD from the sacrifice of his peace offerings.29“Speak to the Israelites and say, ‘Anyone who presents a peace offering to the LORD must bring it as his sacrifice to the LORD.
His own hands shall bring the LORD’s food offerings. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved as a wave offering before the LORD.30With his own hands he is to bring the offerings made by fire to the LORD; he shall bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast as a wave offering before the LORD.
The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be for Aaron and his sons.31The priest is to burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
And the right thigh you shall give to the priest as a contribution from the sacrifice of your peace offerings.32And you are to give the right thigh to the priest as a contribution from your peace offering.
Whoever among the sons of Aaron offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat shall have the right thigh for a portion.33The son of Aaron who presents the blood and fat of the peace offering shall have the right thigh as a portion.
For the breast that is waved and the thigh that is contributed I have taken from the people of Israel, out of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons, as a perpetual due from the people of Israel.34I have taken from the sons of Israel the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a permanent portion from the sons of Israel.’ ”
This is the portion of Aaron and of his sons from the LORD’s food offerings, from the day they were presented to serve as priests of the LORD.35This is the portion of the offerings made by fire to the LORD for Aaron and his sons since the day they were presented to serve the LORD as priests.
The LORD commanded this to be given them by the people of Israel, from the day that he anointed them. It is a perpetual due throughout their generations.”36On the day they were anointed, the LORD commanded that this be given them by the sons of Israel. It is a permanent portion for the generations to come.
This is the law of the burnt offering, of the grain offering, of the sin offering, of the guilt offering, of the ordination offering, and of the peace offering,37This is the law of the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the peace offering,
which the LORD commanded Moses on Mount Sinai, on the day that he commanded the people of Israel to bring their offerings to the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.38which the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai on the day He commanded the Israelites to present their offerings to the LORD in the Wilderness of Sinai.
