You have filled my heart with more joy than when grain and new wine abound.
wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil that makes his face to shine and bread that sustains his heart.
They no longer sing and drink wine; strong drink is bitter to those who consume it. . . .
Truly I tell you, I will no longer drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God."
And He said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering. . . .
For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them."
and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.
Song of Solomon 5:1
I have come to my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. The Friends Eat, O friends, and drink; drink freely, O beloved.
After the anguish of His soul, He will see the light of life and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant will justify many, and He will bear their iniquities.
The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing."
How lovely they will be, and how beautiful! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine, the young women.
Luke 15:5, 6, 23-25, 32
And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders, . . .
I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
But now I am coming to You, and I am saying these things while I am in the world, so that they may have My joy fulfilled within them.
not by all the people, but by the witnesses God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. . . .
And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn the song except the 144, 000 who had been redeemed from the earth.
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."
Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
Luke 22:18, 29, 30
For I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes." . . .
For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.'"
