1 Thessalonians 3:6
But now Timothy has returned from his visit with the good news about your faith, your love, and the fond memories you have preserved, longing to see us just as we long to see you.
2 Timothy 1:3-5
I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as did my forefathers, as I constantly remember you night and day in my prayers. . . .
1 Thessalonians 2:13, 14
And we continually thank God that in receiving the word of God from us, you did not accept it as the word of men, but as the true word of God--the word now at work in you who believe. . . .
Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval." . . .
but now revealed and made known through the writings of the prophets by the command of the eternal God, in order to lead all nations to the obedience that comes from faith--
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. All that matters is faith, expressed through love.
2 Thessalonians 1:3, 11

Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; . . .
Romans 8:24, 25
For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see? . . .
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up.
And so Abraham, after waiting patiently, obtained the promise.
You need to persevere, so that after you have done God's will, you will receive what He has promised.
James 1:3, 4
because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. . . .

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the soil--how patient he is for the fall and spring rains. . . .
1 John 3:3
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Because you have kept My command to endure with patience, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
To the man who is pleasing in His sight, He gives wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner He assigns the task of gathering and accumulating that which he will hand over to one who pleases God. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.
Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,
and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your gifts to the poor have been remembered before God.
2 Corinthians 2:17
For we are not like so many others, who peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as men sent from God.
1 Timothy 2:3
This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
