1 Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
2 Who shall declare the powers of the Lord? who shall set forth all his praises? Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORD, or declare all his praise? Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise?
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and do justice at all times. Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right.
4 Remember us, O Lord, in the favour of thy people: visit us with thy salvation. Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them, Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them,
5 That we may see the good of thy chosen, that we may rejoice in the joy of thy nation: that thou mayst be praised with thy inheritance. that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance. that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise.
6 We have sinned with our fathers: we have acted unjustly, we have wrought iniquity. Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. We have sinned, even as our ancestors did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt: they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies: And they provoked to wrath going up to the sea, even the Red Sea. Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. 47 Save us, O Lord, our God: and gather us from among nations: That we may give thanks to thy holy name, and may glory in thy praise. 48 Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say: So be it, so be it. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting!
