AND the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
When a man shall have a sore on the skin of his body, or a scab or a shiny spot, and it be on the skin of his body like the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests; “When a person has on the skin of his body a swelling or an eruption or a spot, and it turns into a case of leprous disease on the skin of his body, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests, “When anyone has a swelling or a rash or a shiny spot on their skin that may be a defiling skin disease, they must be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons who is a priest.
And the priest shall look on the disease on the skin of his body; and if the hair in the sore is turned white and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the skin of his body, it is a plague of leprosy; and the priest shall look on it and pronounce him unclean. and the priest shall examine the diseased area on the skin of his body. And if the hair in the diseased area has turned white and the disease appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is a case of leprous disease. When the priest has examined him, he shall pronounce him unclean. The priest is to examine the sore on the skin, and if the hair in the sore has turned white and the sore appears to be more than skin deep, it is a defiling skin disease. When the priest examines that person, he shall pronounce them ceremonially unclean.
And if the shiny spot be white on the skin of his body, but does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white; then the priest shall observe the disease for seven days; But if the spot is white in the skin of his body and appears no deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest shall shut up the diseased person for seven days. If the shiny spot on the skin is white but does not appear to be more than skin deep and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest is to isolate the affected person for seven days.
And the priest shall look on him on the seventh day, and if the disease has remained in its place and has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall observe it seven days more. And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the disease is checked and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up for another seven days. On the seventh day the priest is to examine them, and if he sees that the sore is unchanged and has not spread in the skin, he is to isolate them for another seven days.
And the priest shall look on him after seven days, and if the disease has been checked and has not spread in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean; because it is only a scab, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean. And the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day, and if the diseased area has faded and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only an eruption. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean. On the seventh day the priest is to examine them again, and if the sore has faded and has not spread in the skin, the priest shall pronounce them clean; it is only a rash. They must wash their clothes, and they will be clean.
But if the scab spreads much in the skin after that the priest has seen it and cleaned it, he shall show it to the priest again; But if the eruption spreads in the skin, after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall appear again before the priest. But if the rash does spread in their skin after they have shown themselves to the priest to be pronounced clean, they must appear before the priest again.
And if the priest shall see that the scab has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean because it is leprosy. And the priest shall look, and if the eruption has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease. The priest is to examine that person, and if the rash has spread in the skin, he shall pronounce them unclean; it is a defiling skin disease.
When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest; “When a man is afflicted with a leprous disease, he shall be brought to the priest, “When anyone has a defiling skin disease, they must be brought to the priest.
And the priest shall see him, and if there is a white swelling in the skin and it has turned the hair white and the indication of the flesh is raw in the swelling, and the priest shall look. And if there is a white swelling in the skin that has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling, The priest is to examine them, and if there is a white swelling in the skin that has turned the hair white and if there is raw flesh in the swelling,
It is an old leprosy in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean and shall not shut him up; for he is unclean. it is a chronic leprous disease in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not shut him up, for he is unclean. it is a chronic skin disease and the priest shall pronounce them unclean. He is not to isolate them, because they are already unclean.
And if the leprosy breaks out all over his skin, so that the leprosy covers all of the skin of him who has the plague from his head to his feet, wherever the priest looks, And if the leprous disease breaks out in the skin, so that the leprous disease covers all the skin of the diseased person from head to foot, so far as the priest can see, “If the disease breaks out all over their skin and, so far as the priest can see, it covers all the skin of the affected person from head to foot,
Then the priest shall consider; and, behold, if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean of the plague; for it has all turned white; he is clean. then the priest shall look, and if the leprous disease has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean of the disease; it has all turned white, and he is clean. the priest is to examine them, and if the disease has covered their whole body, he shall pronounce them clean. Since it has all turned white, they are clean.
But on the day when raw flesh appears on him, he shall become unclean. But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean. But whenever raw flesh appears on them, they will be unclean.
And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce the raw flesh unclean; for it is unclean; it is leprosy. And the priest shall examine the raw flesh and pronounce him unclean. Raw flesh is unclean, for it is a leprous disease. When the priest sees the raw flesh, he shall pronounce them unclean. The raw flesh is unclean; they have a defiling disease.
Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall be brought to the priest; But if the raw flesh recovers and turns white again, then he shall come to the priest, If the raw flesh changes and turns white, they must go to the priest.
And the priest shall see him; and if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean that has the plague; he is clean. and the priest shall examine him, and if the disease has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce the diseased person clean; he is clean. The priest is to examine them, and if the sores have turned white, the priest shall pronounce the affected person clean; then they will be clean.
The flesh also, if there is in the skin thereof a boil and it is healed, “If there is in the skin of one’s body a boil and it heals, “When someone has a boil on their skin and it heals,
And in the place of the boil there be a white swelling or a shiny spot, white or reddish, it shall be shown to the priest; and in the place of the boil there comes a white swelling or a reddish-white spot, then it shall be shown to the priest. and in the place where the boil was, a white swelling or reddish-white spot appears, they must present themselves to the priest.
And when the priest sees it, if it appears deeper than the skin and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; for it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil. And the priest shall look, and if it appears deeper than the skin and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a case of leprous disease that has broken out in the boil. The priest is to examine it, and if it appears to be more than skin deep and the hair in it has turned white, the priest shall pronounce that person unclean. It is a defiling skin disease that has broken out where the boil was.
But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there is no white hair in it and if it is not deeper than the skin but is even with the skin, then the priest shall observe it seven days; But if the priest examines it and there is no white hair in it and it is not deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall shut him up seven days. But if, when the priest examines it, there is no white hair in it and it is not more than skin deep and has faded, then the priest is to isolate them for seven days.
And if it spreads much in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; because it is the plague of leprosy. And if it spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a disease. If it is spreading in the skin, the priest shall pronounce them unclean; it is a defiling disease.
But if the shiny spot stays in its place and spreads not, it is a scar of the boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean. But if the spot remains in one place and does not spread, it is the scar of the boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean. But if the spot is unchanged and has not spread, it is only a scar from the boil, and the priest shall pronounce them clean.
Or if a person's body has a burn on its skin, and the quick flesh of the burn has a shiny spot, somewhat white or reddish, “Or, when the body has a burn on its skin and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a spot, reddish-white or white, “When someone has a burn on their skin and a reddish-white or white spot appears in the raw flesh of the burn,
Then the priest shall look on it, and if the hair in the shiny spot has turned white, and it appears to be deeper than the skin, it is a leprosy broken out in the burn; wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean; because it is the plague of leprosy. the priest shall examine it, and if the hair in the spot has turned white and it appears deeper than the skin, then it is a leprous disease. It has broken out in the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a case of leprous disease. the priest is to examine the spot, and if the hair in it has turned white, and it appears to be more than skin deep, it is a defiling disease that has broken out in the burn. The priest shall pronounce them unclean; it is a defiling skin disease.
But if the priest look on it, and there is no white hair in the shiny spot and it is no deeper than the skin, but is even; then the priest shall observe it seven days; But if the priest examines it and there is no white hair in the spot and it is no deeper than the skin, but has faded, the priest shall shut him up seven days, But if the priest examines it and there is no white hair in the spot and if it is not more than skin deep and has faded, then the priest is to isolate them for seven days.
And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day; and if it has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; because it is the plague of leprosy. and the priest shall examine him the seventh day. If it is spreading in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a case of leprous disease. On the seventh day the priest is to examine that person, and if it is spreading in the skin, the priest shall pronounce them unclean; it is a defiling skin disease.
And if the shiny spot stays in its place and does not spread in the skin and is somewhat even, it is a scab of the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; because it is the scab of the burn. But if the spot remains in one place and does not spread in the skin, but has faded, it is a swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the scar of the burn. If, however, the spot is unchanged and has not spread in the skin but has faded, it is a swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce them clean; it is only a scar from the burn.
If a man or woman has a disease on the head or the beard; “When a man or woman has a disease on the head or the beard, “If a man or woman has a sore on their head or chin,
Then the priest shall see the disease; and, if it appears deeper than the skin, and there be in it yellow thin hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; because it is the disease of leprosy of the head or beard. the priest shall examine the disease. And if it appears deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is an itch, a leprous disease of the head or the beard. the priest is to examine the sore, and if it appears to be more than skin deep and the hair in it is yellow and thin, the priest shall pronounce them unclean; it is a defiling skin disease on the head or chin.
And if the priest look on the disease, and it does not appear deeper than the skin and there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall observe it seven days; And if the priest examines the itching disease and it appears no deeper than the skin and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up the person with the itching disease for seven days, But if, when the priest examines the sore, it does not seem to be more than skin deep and there is no black hair in it, then the priest is to isolate the affected person for seven days.
And on the seventh day the priest shall look on the disease; and if the disease has not spread, and if there is no yellow hair in it and the appearance of the disease is not deeper than the skin. and on the seventh day the priest shall examine the disease. If the itch has not spread, and there is in it no yellow hair, and the itch appears to be no deeper than the skin, On the seventh day the priest is to examine the sore, and if it has not spread and there is no yellow hair in it and it does not appear to be more than skin deep,
Then he shall shave the sides of the sore, but the sore he shall not shave; and the priest shall observe the disease seven days more; then he shall shave himself, but the itch he shall not shave; and the priest shall shut up the person with the itching disease for another seven days. then the man or woman must shave themselves, except for the affected area, and the priest is to keep them isolated another seven days.
And on the seventh day the priest shall look on the disease; and if the disease has not spread in the skin and does not appear deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean. And on the seventh day the priest shall examine the itch, and if the itch has not spread in the skin and it appears to be no deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean. On the seventh day the priest is to examine the sore, and if it has not spread in the skin and appears to be no more than skin deep, the priest shall pronounce them clean. They must wash their clothes, and they will be clean.
But if the disease spreads much in the skin after his cleansing, But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing, But if the sore does spread in the skin after they are pronounced clean,
Then the priest shall look on him; and if the disease has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for yellow hair; he is unclean. then the priest shall examine him, and if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest need not seek for the yellow hair; he is unclean. the priest is to examine them, and if he finds that the sore has spread in the skin, he does not need to look for yellow hair; they are unclean.
But if the disease remains in its place and there is black hair grown up in it; the disease is healed, he is clean; and the priest shall pronounce him clean. But if in his eyes the itch is unchanged and black hair has grown in it, the itch is healed and he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean. If, however, the sore is unchanged so far as the priest can see, and if black hair has grown in it, the affected person is healed. They are clean, and the priest shall pronounce them clean.
If a man or a woman have in the skin of the body shiny spots, bright or white spots, “When a man or a woman has spots on the skin of the body, white spots, “When a man or woman has white spots on the skin,
Then the priest shall look; and if the shiny spots in the skin of the body are darkish white or reddish, it is a scab that has grown on the skin; he is clean. the priest shall look, and if the spots on the skin of the body are of a dull white, it is leukoderma that has broken out in the skin; he is clean. the priest is to examine them, and if the spots are dull white, it is a harmless rash that has broken out on the skin; they are clean.
And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet he is clean. “If a man’s hair falls out from his head, he is bald; he is clean. “A man who has lost his hair and is bald is clean.
And he whose hair has fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald; yet he is clean. And if a man’s hair falls out from his forehead, he has baldness of the forehead; he is clean. If he has lost his hair from the front of his scalp and has a bald forehead, he is clean.
And if there is on his bald head or bald forehead a white or reddish sore, it is leprosy breaking out on his bald head or his bald forehead. But if there is on the bald head or the bald forehead a reddish-white diseased area, it is a leprous disease breaking out on his bald head or his bald forehead. But if he has a reddish-white sore on his bald head or forehead, it is a defiling disease breaking out on his head or forehead.
Then the priest shall look on the swelling of the sore; and if the sore is white or reddish on his bald head or on his bald forehead like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the body, Then the priest shall examine him, and if the diseased swelling is reddish-white on his bald head or on his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprous disease in the skin of the body, The priest is to examine him, and if the swollen sore on his head or forehead is reddish-white like a defiling skin disease,
He is a leprous man, he is unclean; the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; for the disease is on his head. he is a leprous man, he is unclean. The priest must pronounce him unclean; his disease is on his head. the man is diseased and is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean because of the sore on his head.
And he who has the plague, his clothes shall be rent and his head shaved, and he shall cover his lips and call himself unclean. “The leprous person who has the disease shall wear torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean.’ “Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
All the days wherein the plague is on him he shall be defiled; for he is unclean; he shall dwell alone; outside the camp shall his habitation be. He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp. As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.
If a garment has leprous disease in it, whether it be a woolen garment or a linen garment, “When there is a case of leprous disease in a garment, whether a woolen or a linen garment, “As for any fabric that is spoiled with a defiling mold—any woolen or linen clothing,
Whether it be in the warp or woof, of linen or of woolen, in a skin or in anything made of skin, in warp or woof of linen or wool, or in a skin or in anything made of skin, any woven or knitted material of linen or wool, any leather or anything made of leather—
And if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment or in the skin, either in the warp or in the woof or in anything of skin, it is a plague of leprosy and shall be shown to the priest; if the disease is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin or in the warp or the woof or in any article made of skin, it is a case of leprous disease, and it shall be shown to the priest. if the affected area in the fabric, the leather, the woven or knitted material, or any leather article, is greenish or reddish, it is a defiling mold and must be shown to the priest.
And the priest shall look upon the plague and observe it seven days; And the priest shall examine the disease and shut up that which has the disease for seven days. The priest is to examine the affected area and isolate the article for seven days.
And the priest shall look on the plague on the seventh day; if the disease has spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof or in a skin or in any article that is made of skin, the plague is a malignant leprosy; it is unclean. Then he shall examine the disease on the seventh day. If the disease has spread in the garment, in the warp or the woof, or in the skin, whatever be the use of the skin, the disease is a persistent leprous disease; it is unclean. On the seventh day he is to examine it, and if the mold has spread in the fabric, the woven or knitted material, or the leather, whatever its use, it is a persistent defiling mold; the article is unclean.
He shall therefore burn the garment whether warp or woof, in woolen or in linen, or anything of skin in which is the plague; for it is a malignant leprosy; it shall be burned in the fire. And he shall burn the garment, or the warp or the woof, the wool or the linen, or any article made of skin that is diseased, for it is a persistent leprous disease. It shall be burned in the fire. He must burn the fabric, the woven or knitted material of wool or linen, or any leather article that has been spoiled; because the defiling mold is persistent, the article must be burned.
And if the priest shall look, and the plague has not spread in the garment either in the warp or in the woof or in anything of skin, “And if the priest examines, and if the disease has not spread in the garment, in the warp or the woof or in any article made of skin, “But if, when the priest examines it, the mold has not spread in the fabric, the woven or knitted material, or the leather article,
Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which is the plague and he shall observe it seven days more; then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which is the disease, and he shall shut it up for another seven days. he shall order that the spoiled article be washed. Then he is to isolate it for another seven days.
And the priest shall look on the plague after it is washed; and if the plague has not changed its appearance and the disease has not changed its color and the plague has not spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire; it has been diseased when it was new or when old. And the priest shall examine the diseased thing after it has been washed. And if the appearance of the diseased area has not changed, though the disease has not spread, it is unclean. You shall burn it in the fire, whether the rot is on the back or on the front. After the article has been washed, the priest is to examine it again, and if the mold has not changed its appearance, even though it has not spread, it is unclean. Burn it, no matter which side of the fabric has been spoiled.
And if the priest sees that the disease has diminished after being washed, then he shall rend it out of the garment or out of the skin or out of the warp or out of the woof; “But if the priest examines, and if the diseased area has faded after it has been washed, he shall tear it out of the garment or the skin or the warp or the woof. If, when the priest examines it, the mold has faded after the article has been washed, he is to tear the spoiled part out of the fabric, the leather, or the woven or knitted material.
And if it appears still in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof or in anything of skin, they shall burn it with fire, for the plague has spread in it. Then if it appears again in the garment, in the warp or the woof, or in any article made of skin, it is spreading. You shall burn with fire whatever has the disease. But if it reappears in the fabric, in the woven or knitted material, or in the leather article, it is a spreading mold; whatever has the mold must be burned.
And the garment, either warp or woof or anything of skin which has been washed, if the disease departs from them, then it shall be washed the second time and shall be clean. But the garment, or the warp or the woof, or any article made of skin from which the disease departs when you have washed it, shall then be washed a second time, and be clean.” Any fabric, woven or knitted material, or any leather article that has been washed and is rid of the mold, must be washed again. Then it will be clean.”
This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp or woof or anything of skin, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean. This is the law for a case of leprous disease in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or the woof, or in any article made of skin, to determine whether it is clean or unclean. These are the regulations concerning defiling molds in woolen or linen clothing, woven or knitted material, or any leather article, for pronouncing them clean or unclean.
