יְהוָֽה׃
And Adam
had relations with
his wife
Eve,
and she conceived
and gave birth to
Cain.
“With the help of
the LORD
I have brought forth
a man,”
she said.
And Adam
knew
Eve
his wife;
and she conceived,
and bare
Cain,
and said,
I have gotten
a man
from
the LORD.

Later
she gave birth
to Cain’s brother
Abel.
Now
Abel
was
a keeper
of sheep,
while Cain
was a tiller
of the soil.
And she again
bare
his brother
Abel.
And Abel
was a keeper
of sheep,
but Cain
was a tiller
of the ground.

So in the course
of time,
Cain
brought
some of the fruit
of the soil
as an offering
to the LORD,
And in process
of time
it came to pass, that Cain
brought
of the fruit
of the ground
an offering
unto the LORD.

And the LORD

he

of the firstlings

he had not respect.

was very

If
thou doest well,

And
while they were

Cain

And Cain
