“As for you, O son of man, prophesy against Gog and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. “And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: “And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; “Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal.
I will turn you around, drive you along, bring you up from the far north, and send you against the mountains of Israel. And I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel. And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: and I will turn you around, lead you on a rope, take you up from the remotest parts of the north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel.
Then I will strike the bow from your left hand and dash down the arrows from your right hand. Then I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand. And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows fall from your right hand. Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand.
On the mountains of Israel you will fall— you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to every kind of ravenous bird and wild beast. You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and animal of the field. On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals.
You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD. You shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken,” declares the Lord GOD. You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.
I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD. I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know that I am the LORD. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. “And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD. I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD.
So I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. “And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. “And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not allow My holy name to be profaned anymore. But the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. “’I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.
Yes, it is coming, and it will surely happen, declares the Lord GOD. This is the day of which I have spoken. Behold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares the Lord GOD. That is the day of which I have spoken. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken. Behold, it is coming and it shall be done,” declares the Lord GOD. “That is the day of which I have spoken. It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign LORD. This is the day I have spoken of.
Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out, kindle fires, and burn up the weapons— the bucklers and shields, the bows and arrows, the clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. “Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, clubs and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years, And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: “Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both bucklers and shields, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them. “’Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.
They will not gather wood from the countryside or cut it from the forests, for they will use the weapons for fuel. They will loot those who looted them and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord GOD. so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they will make their fires of the weapons. They will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord GOD. So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. They will not take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will take the spoils of those who plundered them and seize the plunder of those who plundered them,” declares the Lord GOD. They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign LORD.
And on that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Sea. It will block those who travel through, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog. “On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the sea. It will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his multitude will be buried. It will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog. “On that day I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block the way of those who would pass by. So they will bury Gog there with all his horde, and they will call it the Valley of Hamon-gog. “’On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east of the Sea. It will block the way of travelers, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog.
For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. “’For seven months the Israelites will be burying them in order to cleanse the land.
All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day I display My glory, declares the Lord GOD. All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that I show my glory, declares the Lord GOD. Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD. And all the people of the land will bury them; and it will be to their renown on the day that I appear in My glory,” declares the Lord GOD. All the people of the land will bury them, and the day I display my glory will be a memorable day for them, declares the Sovereign LORD.
And men will be employed to continually pass through the land to cleanse it by burying the invaders who remain on the ground. At the end of the seven months they will begin their search. They will set apart men to travel through the land regularly and bury those travelers remaining on the face of the land, so as to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make their search. And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. “They will also select men who will constantly pass through the land, burying those who were passing through, those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will conduct a search. People will be continually employed in cleansing the land. They will spread out across the land and, along with others, they will bury any bodies that are lying on the ground. “’After the seven months they will carry out a more detailed search.
As they pass through the land, anyone who sees a human bone will set up a pillar next to it, until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. And when these travel through the land and anyone sees a human bone, then he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. As those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a human bone, then he will set up a marker by it until the burial detail has buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. As they go through the land, anyone who sees a human bone will leave a marker beside it until the gravediggers bury it in the Valley of Hamon Gog,
(Even the city will be named Hamonah. And so they will cleanse the land. (Hamonah is also the name of the city.) Thus shall they cleanse the land. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. And even the name of the city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land.”’ near a town called Hamonah. And so they will cleanse the land.’
And as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: Call out to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field: ‘Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great feast on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood. “As for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: Speak to the birds of every sort and to all beasts of the field: ‘Assemble and come, gather from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh and drink blood. And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. “Now as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Say to every kind of bird and to every animal of the field: “Assemble and come, gather from every direction to My sacrifice, which I am going to sacrifice for you as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel; and you will eat flesh and drink blood. “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Call out to every kind of bird and all the wild animals: ‘Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrifice I am preparing for you, the great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood.
You will eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls— all the fattened animals of Bashan. You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth—of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, of bulls, all of them fat beasts of Bashan. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. You will eat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the leaders of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fattened livestock of Bashan. You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls—all of them fattened animals from Bashan.
At the sacrifice I am preparing, you will eat fat until you are gorged and drink blood until you are drunk. And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. So you will eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. At the sacrifice I am preparing for you, you will eat fat till you are glutted and drink blood till you are drunk.
And at My table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, of mighty men and warriors of every kind,’ declares the Lord GOD. And you shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors,’ declares the Lord GOD. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. You will eat your fill at My table with horses and charioteers, with warriors and all the men of war,” declares the Lord GOD. At my table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, mighty men and soldiers of every kind,’ declares the Sovereign LORD.
I will display My glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the judgment that I execute and the hand that I lay upon them. “And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. “And I will place My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them. “I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay on them.
From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God. The house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God, from that day forward. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day onward. From that day forward the people of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God.
And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their iniquity, because they were unfaithful to Me. So I hid My face from them and delivered them into the hands of their enemies, so that they all fell by the sword. And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. The nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their wrongdoing, because they were disloyal to Me, and I hid My face from them; so I handed them over to their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword. And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.
I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and transgressions, and I hid My face from them. I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. In accordance with their uncleanness and their offenses I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.”’” I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their offenses, and I hid my face from them.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Now I will restore Jacob from captivity and will have compassion on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for My holy name. “Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name. “Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name.
They will forget their disgrace and all the treachery they committed against Me, when they dwell securely in their land, with no one to frighten them. They shall forget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they dwell securely in their land with none to make them afraid, After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid. They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid.
When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them out of the lands of their enemies, I will show My holiness in them in the sight of many nations. when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies’ lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall show Myself holy through them in the sight of the many nations. When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of many nations.
Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, when I regather them to their own land, not leaving any of them behind after their exile among the nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.
And I will no longer hide My face from them, for I will pour out My Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD.” And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD.” Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD. I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the people of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.”
