1	From the violet, purple, and bright red yarn they made special clothes worn for official duties in the holy place. They also made the holy clothes for Aaron. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	From the blue and purple and scarlet yarns they made finely woven garments, for ministering in the Holy Place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	From the blue, purple and scarlet yarn they made woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary. They also made sacred garments for Aaron, as the LORD commanded Moses.
2	They made the ephod out of fine linen yarn and gold, violet, purple, and bright red yarn.	He made the ephod of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen.	They made the ephod of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.
3	They hammered the gold into thin sheets and cut them up. They twisted the gold into threads, which they creatively worked into each strand of the violet, purple, and bright red yarn, and throughout the fine linen.	And they hammered out gold leaf, and he cut it into threads to work into the blue and purple and the scarlet yarns, and into the fine twined linen, in skilled design.	They hammered out thin sheets of gold and cut strands to be worked into the blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen—the work of skilled hands.
4	They made two shoulder straps attached at the [top] corners so that the ephod could be fastened.	They made for the ephod attaching shoulder pieces, joined to it at its two edges.	They made shoulder pieces for the ephod, which were attached to two of its corners, so it could be fastened.
5	They made the belt that is attached to the ephod out of the same fabric. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	And the skillfully woven band on it was of one piece with it and made like it, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	Its skillfully woven waistband was like it—of one piece with the ephod and made with gold, and with blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and with finely twisted linen, as the LORD commanded Moses.
6	They mounted the onyx stones in gold settings, and engraved on them the names of the sons of Israel.	They made the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold filigree, and engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel.	They mounted the onyx stones in gold filigree settings and engraved them like a seal with the names of the sons of Israel.
7	Then they fastened them on the shoulder straps of the ephod as a reminder of who the Israelites are. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	And he set them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	Then they fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the LORD commanded Moses.
8	They made the breastplate as creatively as they made the ephod. It was made out of gold, violet, purple, and bright red yarn, and of fine linen yarn.	He made the breastpiece, in skilled work, in the style of the ephod, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen.	They fashioned the breastpiece—the work of a skilled craftsman. They made it like the ephod: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.
9	It was folded in half and was 9 inches square.	It was square. They made the breastpiece doubled, a span its length and a span its breadth when doubled.	It was square—a span long and a span wide—and folded double.
10	They fastened four rows of precious stones on it. In the first row they put red quartz, topaz, and emerald.	And they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle was the first row;	Then they mounted four rows of precious stones on it. The first row was carnelian, chrysolite and beryl;
11	In the second row they put turquoise, sapphire, and crystal.	and the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;	the second row was turquoise, lapis lazuli and emerald;
12	In the third row they put jacinth, agate, and amethyst.	and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;	the third row was jacinth, agate and amethyst;
13	In the fourth row they put beryl, onyx, and gray quartz. The stones were mounted in gold settings.	and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold filigree.	the fourth row was topaz, onyx and jasper. They were mounted in gold filigree settings.
14	They corresponded to the 12 sons of Israel, by name, each stone engraved (like a signet ring) with the name of one of the 12 tribes.	There were twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They were like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes.	There were twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Israel, each engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.
15	For the breastplate they made chains out of pure gold, twisted like ropes.	And they made on the breastpiece twisted chains like cords, of pure gold.	For the breastpiece they made braided chains of pure gold, like a rope.
16	They made two gold settings and two gold rings and attached the two rings to the [top] two corners of the breastplate.	And they made two settings of gold filigree and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two edges of the breastpiece.	They made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and fastened the rings to two of the corners of the breastpiece.
17	They fastened the two gold ropes to the rings at the [top] corners of the breastplate.	And they put the two cords of gold in the two rings at the edges of the breastpiece.	They fastened the two gold chains to the rings at the corners of the breastpiece,
18	They fastened the other ends of the ropes to the two settings on the shoulder straps of the ephod [so that the breastplate hung] in front of it.	They attached the two ends of the two cords to the two settings of filigree. Thus they attached it in front to the shoulder pieces of the ephod.	and the other ends of the chains to the two settings, attaching them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front.
19	They made two gold rings and fastened them to the other two corners of the breastplate on the inside edge next to the ephod.	Then they made two rings of gold, and put them at the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inside edge next to the ephod.	They made two gold rings and attached them to the other two corners of the breastpiece on the inside edge next to the ephod.
20	They made two [more] gold rings and fastened them to the bottom of the shoulder straps on the front of the ephod. This was close to the seam just above the belt of the ephod.	And they made two rings of gold, and attached them in front to the lower part of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, at its seam above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.	Then they made two more gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the seam just above the waistband of the ephod.
21	Then they fastened the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a violet cord. So the breastplate was attached just above the belt of the ephod and was held in place. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	And they bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, so that it should lie on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece should not come loose from the ephod, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	They tied the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the ephod with blue cord, connecting it to the waistband so that the breastpiece would not swing out from the ephod—as the LORD commanded Moses.
22	They made the robe that is worn with the ephod, woven entirely of violet yarn.	He also made the robe of the ephod woven all of blue,	They made the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth—the work of a weaver—
23	The opening in the center of the robe had a finished edge (like a leather collar) all around it to keep it from tearing.	and the opening of the robe in it was like the opening in a garment, with a binding around the opening, so that it might not tear.	with an opening in the center of the robe like the opening of a collar, and a band around this opening, so that it would not tear.
24	On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of violet, purple, and bright red yarn, and fine yarn.	On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen.	They made pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen around the hem of the robe.
25	They made bells out of pure gold and fastened them in between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe.	They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe, between the pomegranates—	And they made bells of pure gold and attached them around the hem between the pomegranates.
26	A gold bell alternated with a pomegranate all around the hem of the robe that is worn by Aaron when he serves as priest. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate around the hem of the robe for ministering, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	The bells and pomegranates alternated around the hem of the robe to be worn for ministering, as the LORD commanded Moses.
27	They wove inner robes out of fine linen for Aaron and his sons.	They also made the coats, woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons,	For Aaron and his sons, they made tunics of fine linen—the work of a weaver—
28	They also made the chief priest's turban and the other beautiful turbans out of fine linen. They made the undergarments and belt out of fine linen yarn.	and the turban of fine linen, and the caps of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of fine twined linen,	and the turban of fine linen, the linen caps and the undergarments of finely twisted linen.
29	The belt was embroidered with violet, purple, and bright red yarn. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	and the sash of fine twined linen and of blue and purple and scarlet yarns, embroidered with needlework, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	The sash was made of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn—the work of an embroiderer—as the LORD commanded Moses.
30	They made the flower-shaped medallion (the holy crown) out of pure gold and engraved on it (as on a signet ring): Holy to the LORD.	They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription, like the engraving of a signet, “Holy to the LORD.”	They made the plate, the sacred emblem, out of pure gold and engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: holy to the Lord.
31	They fastened a violet cord to it and tied it on top of the turban. They followed the LORD's instructions to Moses.	And they tied to it a cord of blue to fasten it on the turban above, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	Then they fastened a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban, as the LORD commanded Moses.
32	So all the work on the inner tent (the tent of meeting) was now done. The Israelites followed all the LORD's instructions to Moses.	Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the people of Israel did according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses; so they did.	So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD commanded Moses.
33	Then they brought everything to Moses-the inner tent, the outer tent and all its furnishings, the fasteners, frames, crossbars, posts, sockets,	Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its utensils, its hooks, its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;	Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent and all its furnishings, its clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases;

38	the gold altar, the anointing oil, the sweet-smelling incense, the screen for the entrance to the tent,	the golden altar, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance of the tent;	the gold altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;

40	the curtains for the courtyard, the posts, bases, and screen for the entrance to the courtyard, the ropes and pegs-all the equipment needed for the service of the inner tent (the tent of meeting)-	the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;	the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard; the ropes and tent pegs for the courtyard; all the furnishings for the tabernacle, the tent of meeting;
41	the special clothes worn when serving as priests in the holy place-both the holy clothes for the priest Aaron and the clothes for his sons when serving as priests.	the finely worked garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for their service as priests.	and the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.
42	The Israelites had done all the work following the LORD's instructions to Moses.	According to all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work.	The Israelites had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
43	Moses inspected all the work and saw that they had followed the LORD's instructions. So Moses blessed them.	And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the LORD had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them.	Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
