O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!6You descendants of Abraham, his servant, You children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.7He is the LORD our God; his judgments extend to the entire earth.
He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,8He remembers his eternal covenant— every promise he made for a thousand generations,
The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,9like the covenant he made with Abraham, and his promise to Isaac.
And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,10He presented it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant.

When they were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it.12When the Hebrews were few in number—so very few— and were sojourners in it,
When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people,13they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,14He did not allow anyone to oppress them, or any kings to reprove them.

Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him.19until the time his prediction came true, as the word of the LORD refined him.
The king sent and released him, The ruler of the people let him go free.20He sent a king who released him, a ruler of people who set him free.
He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his possessions,21He made him the master over his household, the manager of all his possessions—
To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.22to discipline his rulers at will and make his elders wise.
Israel also came into Egypt, And Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.23Then Israel came to Egypt; indeed, Jacob lived in the land of Ham.
He increased His people greatly, And made them stronger than their enemies.24He caused his people to multiply greatly; and be more numerous than their enemies.
He turned their heart to hate His people, To deal craftily with His servants.25He caused them to hate his people and to deceive his servants.
He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron whom He had chosen.26He sent his servant Moses, along with Aaron, whom he had chosen.

Their land abounded with frogs, Even in the chambers of their kings.30Their land swarmed with frogs even to the chambers of their kings.
He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their territory.31He spoke, and a swarm of insects invaded their land.

The people asked, and He brought quail, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.40Israel asked, and quail came; food from heaven satisfied them.
He opened the rock, and water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.41He opened a rock, and water gushed out flowing like a river in the desert.
For He remembered His holy promise, And Abraham His servant.42Indeed, he remembered his sacred promise to his servant Abraham.
