Praise Jah. Confess to Jehovah, for he is good, for his mercy is forever. Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Who shall speak the powers of Jehovah? will he cause all his praises to be heard? Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORD, or declare all his praise? Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise?
Happy they watching judgment, doing justice in all time. Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times! Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right.
Remember us, O Jehovah: thy people with acceptance: review us with thy salvation; Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them, Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them,
To see the goodness of thy chosen ones, to be glad in the gladness of thy nation, to boast with thine inheritance. that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance. that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise.
We sinned with our fathers, we acted perversely, we did evil. Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. We have sinned, even as our ancestors did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
Our fathers considered not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; they embittered at the sea, the sea of sedge; Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea. When our ancestors were in Egypt, they gave no thought to your miracles; they did not remember your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea.
And he will save them for sake of his name, to make known his powers. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power. Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, to make his mighty power known.
And he will rebuke in the sea of sedge, and it will be dried up: and he will lead them in the depths as the desert. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry, and he led them through the deep as through a desert. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert.
And he will save them from the hand of him hating, and he will redeem them from the hand of the enemy. So he saved them from the hand of the foe and redeemed them from the power of the enemy. He saved them from the hand of the foe; from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.
And the waters will cover their enemies: one of them was not left. And the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. The waters covered their adversaries; not one of them survived.
And they will believe in his words, they will sing his praise. Then they believed his words; they sang his praise. Then they believed his promises and sang his praise.
They hastened; they forget his works; they waited not for his counsel. But they soon forgot his works; they did not wait for his counsel. But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his plan to unfold.
And they will desire a desire in the desert, and they will tempt God in the waste. But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness, and put God to the test in the desert; In the desert they gave in to their craving; in the wilderness they put God to the test.
And he will give to them their asking; and he will send leanness into their soul. he gave them what they asked, but sent a wasting disease among them. So he gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease among them.
And they will be jealous against Moses in the camp, against Aaron the holy of Jehovah. When men in the camp were jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy one of the LORD, In the camp they grew envious of Moses and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the LORD.
The earth will open and will swallow down Dathan, and will cover the assembly of Abiram. the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it buried the company of Abiram.
And a fire will be kindled in their assembly; the flame will burn up the unjust. Fire also broke out in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. Fire blazed among their followers; a flame consumed the wicked.
They will make a calf in Horeb, and they will worship to the molten image. They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a metal image. At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped an idol cast from metal.
And they will change their glory into the likeness of an ox eating grass. They exchanged the glory of God for the image of an ox that eats grass. They exchanged their glorious God for an image of a bull, which eats grass.
They forgat God saving them, doing great things in Egypt. They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,
Wonders in the land of Ham, terrible things in the sea of sedge. wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea. miracles in the land of Ham and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
And he will say to destroy them unless Moses his chosen stood in the breaking before him to turn away his wrath from destroying. Therefore he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them. So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them.
And they will despise in the land of desire; they trusted not to his word: Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise. Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise.
And they will murmur in their tents; they heard not to the voice of Jehovah. They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the LORD. They grumbled in their tents and did not obey the LORD.
And he will lift up his hand against them: he will cause them to fall in the desert: Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them that he would make them fall in the wilderness, So he swore to them with uplifted hand that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
And to cause their seed to fall among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands. and would make their offspring fall among the nations, scattering them among the lands. make their descendants fall among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
And they will be bound to Baalpeor, and they will eat the sacrifices of the dead. Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead; They yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods;
And they will irritate in their doings, and the blow will break upon them. they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them. they aroused the LORD’s anger by their wicked deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
And Phinehas will stand and intercede, and the blow will be restrained. Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed. But Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was checked.
And it will be reckoned to him for justice to generation and generation, even to forever. And that was counted to him as righteousness from generation to generation forever. This was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.
And they will anger him at the water of strife, and it will be evil to Moses on account of them: They angered him at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account, By the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them;
For they embittered his spirit, and he talked idly with his lips. for they made his spirit bitter, and he spoke rashly with his lips. for they rebelled against the Spirit of God, and rash words came from Moses’ lips.
They did not destroy the peoples which Jehovah said to them. They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them, They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them,
And they will mingle with the nations, and they will learn their works. but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did. but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.
And they will serve their images, and they will be for a snare to them. They served their idols, which became a snare to them. They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.
And they will sacrifice their sons and their daughters to lords. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods.
And they will pour out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters which they sacrificed to the images of Canaan: and the land will be polluted with bloods. they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.
And they will be defiled with their works: and they will commit fornication in their doings. Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds. They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves.
And the anger of Jehovah will kindle against his people, and he will abhor his inheritance. Then the anger of the LORD was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage; Therefore the LORD was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance.
And he will give them into the hand of the nations; and they hating them shall rule over them. he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. He gave them into the hands of the nations, and their foes ruled over them.
And their enemies will press them, and they shall be humbled under their hand. Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. Their enemies oppressed them and subjected them to their power.
Many times he will deliver them, and they will embitter with their counsel, and they will be brought low in their iniquity. Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity. Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.
And he will look upon straits to them in his hearing their wailing. Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. Yet he took note of their distress when he heard their cry;
And he will remember his covenant to them, and he will console according to the multitude of his mercy. For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.
And he will give them for compassions before all those carrying them away captive. He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive. He caused all who held them captive to show them mercy.
Save us, O Jehovah our God, and gather us from the nations to confess to thy holy name, to boast in thy praise. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Save us, LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel from forever and even to forever: and all the people saying, Amen. Praise ye Jah. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD! Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD.
