Of David.
Do not
fret over
those who do evil;
do not

those who do
wrong.
{{[A Psalm] of David.
}} Fret
not thyself because of evildoers,
neither be thou envious
against the workers
of iniquity.

For
they wither
quickly
like grass
and wilt
like tender
plants.
For they shall soon
be cut down
like the grass,
and wither
as the green
herb.

Trust
in the LORD,
and do
good;
[so] shalt thou dwell
in the land,
and verily
thou shalt be fed.

Delight yourself
in
the LORD,
and He will give
you
the desires
of your heart.
Delight
thyself also in the LORD;
and he shall give
thee the desires
of thine heart.

will do it.
Commit
thy way
unto the LORD;
trust
also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass.
6

He will bring forth
your righteousness
like the dawn,
your justice
like the noonday sun.
And he shall bring forth
thy righteousness
as the light,
and thy judgment
as the noonday.

Be still
before the LORD
and wait patiently
for Him;
do not
fret
when men prosper
in their ways,
when they
carry out
wicked schemes.
Rest
in the LORD,
and wait patiently
for him: fret
not thyself because of him who prospereth
in his way,
because of the man
who bringeth
wicked devices
to pass.

Refrain

it can only
bring harm.
Cease
from anger,

wrath:
fret
not thyself in any wise
to do evil.

Yet a little while,

For yet a little while,
