Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His gracious love exists forever. Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Let those who have been redeemed by the LORD declare it— those whom he redeemed from the power of the enemy, Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,
those whom he gathered from other lands— from the east, west, north, and south. and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
They wandered in desolate wilderness; they found no road to a city where they could live. Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle.
Hungry and thirsty, their spirits failed. hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.
He led them in a straight way to find a city where they could live. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his gracious love and his awesome deeds for mankind. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
He has satisfied the one who thirsts, filling the hungry with what is good. For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Some sat in deepest darkness, shackled with cruel iron, Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains,
because they had rebelled against the command of God, despising the advice of the Most High. for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High.
He humbled them through suffering, as they stumbled without a helper. So he bowed their hearts down with hard labor; they fell down, with none to help. So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
And he brought them out from darkness and the shadow of death, shattering their chains. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his gracious love, and for his awesome deeds to mankind. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
For he shattered bronze gates and cut through iron bars. For he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts in two the bars of iron. for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.
Because of their rebellious ways, fools suffered for their iniquities. Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction; Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.
They loathed all food, and even reached the gates of death. they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death.
Yet when they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, he delivered them from certain destruction. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
He issued his command and healed them; he delivered them from their destruction. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his gracious love, and for his awesome deeds for mankind. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and talk about his works with shouts of joy. And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy! Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.
Those who go down to the sea in ships, who work in the great waters, Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the great waters; Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters.
witnessed the works of the LORD— his awesome deeds in the ocean's depth. they saw the deeds of the LORD, his wondrous works in the deep. They saw the works of the LORD, his wonderful deeds in the deep.
He spoke and stirred up a windstorm that made its waves surge. For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.
The people ascended skyward and descended to the depths, their courage melting away in their peril. They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight; They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away.
They reeled and staggered like a drunkard, as all their wisdom became useless. they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits’ end. They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end.
Yet when they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, the LORD brought them out of their distress. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.
He calmed the storm and its waves quieted down. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.
So they rejoiced that the waves became quiet, and he led them to their desired haven. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his gracious love and for his awesome deeds on behalf of mankind. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the counsel of the elders. Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders.
He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into dry ground, He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground,
and a fruitful land into a salty waste, due to the wickedness of its inhabitants. a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the evil of its inhabitants. and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there.
He turns a desert into a pool of water, dry land into springs of water. He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs;
There he settled the hungry, where they built a city to live in. And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could settle.
They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a productive harvest. they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest;
Then he blessed them, and they became numerous; he multiplied their cattle. By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish. he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herds diminish.
But they became few in number, and humiliated by continued oppression, agony, and sorrow. When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, evil, and sorrow, Then their numbers decreased, and they were humbled by oppression, calamity and sorrow;
Having poured contempt on their nobles, causing them to err aimlessly in the way. he pours contempt on princes and makes them wander in trackless wastes; he who pours contempt on nobles made them wander in a trackless waste.
Yet he lifted the needy from affliction and made them families like a flock. but he raises up the needy out of affliction and makes their families like flocks. But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks.
The upright see it and rejoice, but the mouth of an evil person is shut. The upright see it and are glad, and all wickedness shuts its mouth. The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths.
Let whoever is wise observe these things, that they may comprehend the gracious love of the LORD. Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the LORD. Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the LORD.
