My heart is firm, God; I will sing and praise you with my whole being. My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being! A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will wake up at dawn. Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
I will give thanks to you among the peoples, LORD! I will sing praise to you among the nations. I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
For your gracious love extends to the sky, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
May you be exalted above the heavens, God, and your glory be over all the earth. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
In order that those you love may be rescued, deliver with your power and answer me! That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me! Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.
God had promised in his sanctuary: |I will triumph and divide Shechem, then I will measure the valley of Succoth! God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth. God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
Gilead and Manasseh belong to me, while Ephraim is my chief stronghold and Judah is my scepter. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.
Moab is my washbasin; I will fling my shoe on Edom and shout over Philistia.| Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.” Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will lead me to the fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom? Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
God, you have rejected us, have you not, since you did not march out with our army, God? Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies. Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?
Give us help against the enemy, because human help is useless. Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man! Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.
I will find strength in God, for he will trample on our foes. With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
