1	And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,	The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,	The LORD said to Moses,
2	Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of your dwellings, which I give unto you,	“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving you,	“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘After you enter the land I am giving you as a home
3	and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or as a voluntary offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet odour to Jehovah, of the herd or of the flock,	and you offer to the LORD from the herd or from the flock a food offering or a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing aroma to the LORD,	and you present to the LORD food offerings from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD—whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings—
4	then shall he that presenteth his offering to Jehovah bring as oblation a tenth part of fine flour mingled with a fourth part of a hin of oil;	then he who brings his offering shall offer to the LORD a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil;	then the person who brings an offering shall present to the LORD a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of olive oil.
5	and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the fourth part of a hin with the burnt-offering, or with the sacrifice, for one lamb.	and you shall offer with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, a quarter of a hin of wine for the drink offering for each lamb.	With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
6	And for a ram thou shalt offer as oblation two tenth parts of fine flour mingled with oil, a third part of a hin,	Or for a ram, you shall offer for a grain offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil.	“’With a ram prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin of olive oil,
7	and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the third part of a hin; for a sweet odour to Jehovah.	And for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.	and a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
8	And when thou offerest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or for a peace-offering to Jehovah,	And when you offer a bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or for peace offerings to the LORD,	“’When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow or a fellowship offering to the LORD,
9	then shall they present with the bullock as oblation three tenth parts of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil;	then one shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil.	bring with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil,
10	and of wine shalt thou present half a hin, for a drink-offering, as an offering by fire, of a sweet odour to Jehovah.	And you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.	and also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
11	Thus shall it be done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or for a kid;	“Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each lamb or young goat.	Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner.
12	according to the number that ye offer, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.	As many as you offer, so shall you do with each one, as many as there are.	Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.
13	And all that are born in the land shall do these things thus, in presenting an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah.	Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD.	“’Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
14	And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, -- as ye do, so shall he do.	And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or anyone is living permanently among you, and he wishes to offer a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD, he shall do as you do.	For the generations to come, whenever a foreigner or anyone else living among you presents a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, they must do exactly as you do.
15	As to the congregation, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an everlasting statute throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be, before Jehovah.	For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the LORD.	The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the LORD:
16	One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.	One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”	The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.’”
17	And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,	The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,	The LORD said to Moses,
18	Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,	“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land to which I bring you	“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you
19	then it shall be, when ye eat of the bread of the land, that ye shall offer a heave-offering to Jehovah;	and when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall present a contribution to the LORD.	and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the LORD.
20	the first of your dough shall ye offer, a cake, for a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye offer this.	Of the first of your dough you shall present a loaf as a contribution; like a contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you present it.	Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.
21	Of the first of your dough ye shall give to Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.	Some of the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD as a contribution throughout your generations.	Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the LORD from the first of your ground meal.
22	And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,	“But if you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments that the LORD has spoken to Moses,	“’Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the LORD gave Moses—
23	all that Jehovah hath commanded you through Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and henceforward throughout your generations;	all that the LORD has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations,	any of the LORD’s commands to you through him, from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come—
24	then it shall be, if ought be committed by inadvertence [hid] from the eyes of the assembly, that the whole assembly shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah, and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one buck of the goats for a sin-offering.	then if it was done unintentionally without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one bull from the herd for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and one male goat for a sin offering.	and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.
25	And the priest shall make atonement for the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was a sin of inadvertence, and they have brought before Jehovah their offering, as an offering by fire to Jehovah, and their sin-offering for their [sin of] inadvertence;	And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, because it was a mistake, and they have brought their offering, a food offering to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD for their mistake.	The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the LORD for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering.
26	and it shall be forgiven the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for with all the people there was [a sin of] inadvertence.	And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the mistake.	The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.
27	And if one soul sin through inadvertence, then he shall present a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering.	“If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.	“’But if just one person sins unintentionally, that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.
28	And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that hath done inadvertently, when he sinneth by inadvertence before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.	And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.	The priest is to make atonement before the LORD for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.
29	For him that is born in the land among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them -- there shall be one law for you, for him who doeth anything through inadvertence.	You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them.	One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.
30	But the soul that doeth ought with a high hand, whether born in the land, or a stranger, he reproacheth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.	But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the LORD, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.	“’But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes the LORD and must be cut off from the people of Israel.
31	For he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment: that soul shall surely be cut off; his iniquity is upon him.	Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.”	Because they have despised the LORD’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’”
32	And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day.	While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.	While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33	And they that found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole assembly.	And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation.	Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly,
34	And they put him in custody, for it was not declared what should be done to him.	They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him.	and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.
35	And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall certainly be put to death: the whole assembly shall stone him with stones outside the camp.	And the LORD said to Moses, “The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.”	Then the LORD said to Moses, “The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.”
36	And the whole assembly led him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.	And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, as the LORD commanded Moses.	So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses.
37	And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,	The LORD said to Moses,	The LORD said to Moses,
38	Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them tassels on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations, and that they attach to the tassel of the corners a lace of blue;	“Speak to the people of Israel, and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner.	“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.
39	and it shall be unto you for a tassel, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye seek not after [the lusts of] your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye go a whoring;	And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.	You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
40	that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.	So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.	Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God.
41	I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am Jehovah your God.	I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the LORD your God.”	I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God.’”
