The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD said to Moses,
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of your habitation, which I will give you, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving you, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘After you enter the land I am giving you as a home
and you make an offering to the Lord, as a holocaust or as a victim, paying your vows, or as a voluntary offering of gifts, or in your solemnities, burning a sweet odor to the Lord, whether from the oxen or from the sheep: and you offer to the LORD from the herd or from the flock a food offering or a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing aroma to the LORD, and you present to the LORD food offerings from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD—whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings—
whoever immolates the victim shall offer a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, the tenth part of an ephah, sprinkled with oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin, then he who brings his offering shall offer to the LORD a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil; then the person who brings an offering shall present to the LORD a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of olive oil.
and he shall give the same measure of wine, poured out as libations, whether as a holocaust or as a victim. and you shall offer with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, a quarter of a hin of wine for the drink offering for each lamb. With each lamb for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
With each lamb and each ram, there shall be a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, of two tenths, which shall be sprinkled with one third part of a hin of oil. Or for a ram, you shall offer for a grain offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil. “’With a ram prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin of olive oil,
And he shall offer the same measure, one third part of wine, for the libation, as a sweet odor to the Lord. And for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. and a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering. Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
Yet truly, when you will offer, from the oxen, a holocaust or a victim, in order to fulfill your vow or for peace-offering victims, And when you offer a bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or for peace offerings to the LORD, “’When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow or a fellowship offering to the LORD,
you shall give, for each ox, three tenths of fine wheat flour, sprinkled with oil, which has the measure of one half of one hin, then one shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil. bring with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil,
and the wine, poured out as libations, shall be of the same measure, as an oblation of most sweet odor to the Lord. And you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. and also bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
So shall you do “Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each lamb or young goat. Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner.
for each ox, and ram, and lamb, and young goat. As many as you offer, so shall you do with each one, as many as there are. Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.
Both natives and sojourners Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. “’Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
shall offer sacrifices by the same rituals. And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or anyone is living permanently among you, and he wishes to offer a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD, he shall do as you do. For the generations to come, whenever a foreigner or anyone else living among you presents a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, they must do exactly as you do.
There shall be one precept and one judgment, as much for yourselves as for newcomers to the land.” For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the LORD. The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the LORD:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.” The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.’”
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD said to Moses,
When you will arrive in the land which I will give to you, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land to which I bring you “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you
and when you will eat from the bread of that region, you shall separate the first-fruits to the Lord and when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall present a contribution to the LORD. and you eat the food of the land, present a portion as an offering to the LORD.
from the foods that you eat. Just as you separate the first-fruits of your threshing floors, Of the first of your dough you shall present a loaf as a contribution; like a contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you present it. Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.
so also shall you give the first-fruits of your cooked grains to the Lord. Some of the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD as a contribution throughout your generations. Throughout the generations to come you are to give this offering to the LORD from the first of your ground meal.
And if, through ignorance, you neglect any of these things, which the Lord has spoken to Moses, “But if you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments that the LORD has spoken to Moses, “’Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the LORD gave Moses—
and which he has commanded through him for you, from the day that he began to command and thereafter, all that the LORD has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations, any of the LORD’s commands to you through him, from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come—
and if the multitude will have forgotten to do it, then they shall offer a calf from the herd, a holocaust as a most sweet odor to the Lord, and its sacrifice and libations, just as the ceremonies ask, and a he-goat for sin. then if it was done unintentionally without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one bull from the herd for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and one male goat for a sin offering. and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.
And the priest shall pray for the entire multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, because they did not sin willfully. Nevertheless, they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for sin, as well as for their error. And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, because it was a mistake, and they have brought their offering, a food offering to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD for their mistake. The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the LORD for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering.
And it shall be forgiven all the people of the sons of Israel, as well as the newcomers who sojourn among them, for it is the culpability of all the people through neglect. And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the mistake. The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.
But if one soul will have sinned by not knowing, he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat for his sin. “If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering. “’But if just one person sins unintentionally, that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.
And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned unknowingly before the Lord. And he shall obtain pardon for him, and it will be forgiven him. And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven. The priest is to make atonement before the LORD for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.
One law shall be for all who sin by ignorance, as much for natives as for newcomers. You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them. One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.
Yet truly, the soul who commits any of these acts through arrogance, whether he is a citizen or a sojourner, because he has rebelled against the Lord, shall perish from among his people. But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the LORD, and that person shall be cut off from among his people. “’But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes the LORD and must be cut off from the people of Israel.
For he has despised the word of the Lord, and he has nullified his precept. For this reason, he shall be destroyed, and he shall bear his iniquity.” Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.” Because they have despised the LORD’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’”
And it happened that, when the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, and they had found a man collecting wood on the day of the Sabbath, While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
they brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole multitude. And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly,
And they enclosed him in a prison, not knowing what they should do with him. They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him. and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.
And the Lord said to Moses, “Let that man be put to death; let the entire crowd crush him with stones, outside the camp.” And the LORD said to Moses, “The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” Then the LORD said to Moses, “The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.”
And when they had led him out, they overwhelmed him with stones, and he died, just as the Lord had instructed. And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, as the LORD commanded Moses. So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses.
The Lord also said to Moses: The LORD said to Moses, The LORD said to Moses,
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall tell them to make for themselves hems at the corners of their cloaks, placing in them ribbons of hyacinth, “Speak to the people of Israel, and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner. “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.
so that, when they see these, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and they may not follow their own thoughts and eyes, fornicating in various ways, And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after. You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
but instead, they, being more mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and may be holy to their God. So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God.
I am the Lord your God, who led you away from the land of Egypt, so that I may be your God.” I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the LORD your God.” I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD your God.’”
