1	And having gone out from the temple, Jesus was going, and His disciples came near to point out to Him the buildings of the temple.	Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2	And answering, He said to them, “Do you⁺ not see all these things? Truly I say to you⁺, not one stone here shall be left upon a stone, which will not be thrown down.”	But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”	“Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3	And He sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him by Himself, saying, “Tell us when these things will be. And what is the sign of Your coming and the consummation of the age?”	As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”	As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4	And answering, Jesus said to them, “Take heed, lest anyone may lead you⁺ astray.	And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.	Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
5	For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.	For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.	For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
6	And you⁺ will begin to hear of wars and rumors of wars. Behold, do not be alarmed; for it is necessary to happen, but the end is not yet.	And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.	You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7	For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 9	Then they will deliver you⁺ up to tribulation, and they will kill you⁺, and you⁺ will be hated by all the nations because of My name.	“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.	“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
10	And then many will be caused to stumble, and they will deliver up one another and will hate one another;	And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.	At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,
11	and many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.	And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.	and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
12	And because lawlessness is to be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.	And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.	Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
13	But the one having endured to the end, he will be saved.	But the one who endures to the end will be saved.	but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14	And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. 19	And woe to those having in womb and to those nursing in those days!	And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!	How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
20	But pray that your⁺ flight may not be in winter, nor on a Sabbath.	Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.	Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
21	For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall be. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
22	And if those days were not shortened, not any flesh would have been saved; but because of the chosen, those days will be shortened. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.	“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
23	At that time if anyone should say to you⁺, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘Here,’ do not believe it.	Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.	At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.
24	For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen.	For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.	For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25	Behold, I have told you⁺ beforehand.	See, I have told you beforehand.	See, I have told you ahead of time.
26	Therefore if they may say to you⁺, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or ‘Behold, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.	So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.	“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
27	For just as the lightning goes out from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.	For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.	For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28	Wherever the carcass may be, there the vultures will be gathered.	Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.	Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29	And immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light; and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”’	“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.	“Immediately after the distress of those days “’the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
30	And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31	And He will send His angels with a great trumpet call, and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to the ends of them. 33	So also you⁺, when you⁺ see all these things, know that He is near, at the doors.	So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates.	Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
34	Truly I say to you⁺ that this generation shall not have passed away until all these things shall have come to pass.	Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.	Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
35	The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words shall never pass away.	Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.	Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
36	But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, nor the Son, except the Father only.	“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.	“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

38	For as in those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until that day Noah entered into the ark. 39	And they did not know until the flood came and took away all. 42	Therefore watch, because you⁺ do not know on what day your⁺ Lord comes.	Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.	“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43	But know this, that if the master of the house had known in which watch the thief comes, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.	But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.	But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44	Because of this also, you⁺ be ready, because in the hour that you⁺ do not think, the Son of Man comes.	Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.	So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45	Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master set over his household, to give them the food in season?	“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?	“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
46	Blessed is that servant whom his master, having come, will find so doing.	Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.	It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
47	Truly I say to you⁺ that he will set him over all of his possessions.	Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.	Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
48	But if that evil servant should say in his heart, ‘My master delays,’	But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’	But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’
49	and he should begin to beat his fellow servants, and he should eat and drink with those being drunk,	and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards,	and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
50	the master of that servant will come in a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not know,	the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know	The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.
51	and he will cut him in two and will appoint his portion with the hypocrites—there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.	and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
