Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. . . .

Luke 15:18, 21

To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"
Paul, an apostle--sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead--
And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
1 Peter 1:17
Since you call on a Father who judges each one's work impartially, live your lives in reverent fear during your temporary stay on earth.
And do not call anyone on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
2 Chronicles 20:6
and said, "O LORD, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You.
Our God is in heaven and does as He pleases.
For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and humble of spirit, to restore the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the contrite.
This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me? Or where will be My place of repose?
Then Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD meant when He said: 'To those who come near Me I will show My holiness, and in the sight of all the people I will reveal My glory.'" But Aaron remained silent.
2 Samuel 7:26
so that Your name will be magnified forever when it is said, 'The LORD of Hosts is God over Israel.' And the house of Your servant David will be established before You.
1 Kings 8:43
may You hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You. Then all the peoples of the earth will know Your name and fear You, as do Your people Israel, and they will know that this house I have built is called by Your Name.
1 Chronicles 17:24

I will show the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations--the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Lord GOD, when I show My holiness in you before their eyes.
I will magnify and sanctify Myself, and will reveal Myself in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
On that day the LORD will become King over all the earth--the LORD alone, and His name alone.
"For My name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun. In every place, incense and pure offerings will be presented in My name, because My name will be great among the nations, " says the LORD of Hosts.
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests!"
So Jesus told them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.
1 Timothy 6:16
He alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. No one has ever seen Him, nor can anyone see Him. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things; by Your will they exist, and came to be."
In a loud voice they said: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
