The humble will increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

The brother in humble circumstances should exult in his high position.
Listen, my beloved brothers: Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him?
He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.
But the meek will inherit the land and delight in abundant prosperity.
The LORD brings this charge against the elders and leaders of His people: "You have devoured the vineyard; the plunder of the poor is in your houses.
Why do you crush My people and grind the faces of the poor?" declares the Lord GOD of Hosts.
but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and with equity He will decide in favor of the earth's oppressed. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.
Then the firstborn of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety, but I will kill your root by famine, and your remnant will be slain.
What answer will be given to the envoys of that nation? "The LORD has founded Zion, where His afflicted people will find refuge."
For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
Feet trample it down--the feet of the oppressed, the steps of the poor.
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release from darkness to the prisoners,
But you, Daniel, shut up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam to and fro, and knowledge will increase."
