1 As Jesus left the temple courtyard and was walking away, his disciples came to him. They proudly pointed out to him the temple buildings. Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2 Jesus said to them, |You see all these buildings, don't you? I can guarantee this truth: Not one of these stones will be left on top of another. Each one will be torn down.| But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said, |Tell us, when will this happen? What will be the sign that you are coming again, and when will the world come to an end?| As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered them, |Be careful not to let anyone deceive you. And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
5 Many will come using my name. They will say, 'I am the Messiah,' and they will deceive many people. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
6 |You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Don't be alarmed! These things must happen, but they don't mean that the end has come. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. 21 There will be a lot of misery at that time, a kind of misery that has not happened from the beginning of the world until now and will certainly never happen again. 22 If God does not reduce the number of those days, no one will be saved. But those days will be reduced because of those whom God has chosen. 28 Vultures will gather wherever there is a dead body. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 Therefore, you, too, must be ready because the Son of Man will return when you least expect him. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45 |Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant? The master will put that person in charge of giving the other servants their food at the right time. “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?

47 I can guarantee this truth: He will put that servant in charge of all his property. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
48 On the other hand, that servant, if he is wicked, may think that it will be a long time before his master comes. But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’
49 The servant may begin to beat the other servants and eat and drink with the drunks. and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
