1	As Jesus left and was going out of the temple, his disciples came up and called his attention to its buildings.	Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2	He replied to them, “Do you see all these things? Truly I tell you, not one stone will be left here on another that will not be thrown down.”	But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”	“Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3	While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? ”	As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”	As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4	Jesus replied to them, “Watch out that no one deceives you.	And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.	Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
5	For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many.	For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.	For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
6	You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.	And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. 19	Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!	And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!	How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
20	Pray that your escape may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.	Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.	Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
21	For at that time there will be great distress, the kind that hasn’t taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again.	For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.	For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
22	Unless those days were cut short, no one would be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect.	And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.	“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
23	“If anyone tells you then, ‘See, here is the Messiah! ’ or, ‘Over here! ’ do not believe it.	Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.	At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.
24	For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 27	For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38	For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah boarded the ark. 43	But know this: If the homeowner had known what time the thief was coming, he would have stayed alert and not let his house be broken into.	But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.	But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44	This is why you are also to be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.	Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.	So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45	“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?	“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?	“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
46	Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing his job when he comes.	Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.	It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
47	Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.	Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.	Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
48	But if that wicked servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delayed,’	But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’	But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’
49	and starts to beat his fellow servants, and eats and drinks with drunkards,	and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards,	and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
