Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.” In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “’You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For the heart of this people has become dull; they are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’ For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I will tell the reapers, |First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned, but then gather the wheat into my barn.|'| Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” Let both grow together until the harvest. 31 He gave them another parable: |The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 34 Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the crowds; he did not speak to them without a parable. All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable.
