1 And the second lot came forth for the children of Simeon by their kindreds: and their inheritance was The second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of the people of Simeon, according to their clans, and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the people of Judah. The second lot came out for the tribe of Simeon according to its clans. Their inheritance lay within the territory of Judah.
2 In the midst of the possession of the children of Juda: Bersabee and Sabee and Molada, And they had for their inheritance Beersheba, Sheba, Moladah, It included: Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,
3 And Hasersual, Bala and Asem, Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem, Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 And Eltholad, Bethul and Harma, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,

7 Ain and Remmon and Athor and Asan: four cities, and their villages. Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four cities with their villages, Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan—four towns and their villages—
8 And all the villages round about these cities to Baalath Beer Ramath to the south quarter. This is the inheritance of the children of Simeon according to their kindreds, together with all the villages around these cities as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the Negeb. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Simeon according to their clans. and all the villages around these towns as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah in the Negev). This was the inheritance of the tribe of the Simeonites, according to its clans.
9 In the possession and lot of the children of Juda: because it was too great, and therefore the children of Simeon had their possession in the midst of their inheritance. The inheritance of the people of Simeon formed part of the territory of the people of Judah. Because the portion of the people of Judah was too large for them, the people of Simeon obtained an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance. The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the share of Judah, because Judah’s portion was more than they needed. So the Simeonites received their inheritance within the territory of Judah.
10 And the third lot fell to the children of Zabulon by their kindreds: and the border of their possession was unto Sarid. The third lot came up for the people of Zebulun, according to their clans. And the territory of their inheritance reached as far as Sarid. The third lot came up for Zebulun according to its clans: The boundary of their inheritance went as far as Sarid.
11 And it went up from the sea and from Merala, and came to Debbaseth: as far as the torrent, which is over against Jeconam. Then their boundary goes up westward and on to Mareal and touches Dabbesheth, then the brook that is east of Jokneam. Going west it ran to Maralah, touched Dabbesheth, and extended to the ravine near Jokneam.
12 And it returneth from Sarid eastward to the borders of Ceseleththabor: and it goeth out to Dabereth, and ascendeth towards Japhie. From Sarid it goes in the other direction eastward toward the sunrise to the boundary of Chisloth-tabor. From there it goes to Daberath, then up to Japhia. It turned east from Sarid toward the sunrise to the territory of Kisloth Tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia.
13 And it passeth along from thence to the east side of Gethhepher and Thacasin: and goeth out to Remmon, Amthar and Noa. From there it passes along on the east toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and going on to Rimmon it bends toward Neah, Then it continued eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin; it came out at Rimmon and turned toward Neah.
14 And it turneth about to the north of Hanathon: and the outgoings thereof are the valley of Jephtahel, then on the north the boundary turns about to Hannathon, and it ends at the Valley of Iphtahel; There the boundary went around on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.
15 And Cateth and Naalol and Semeron and Jedala and Bethlehem: twelve cities and their villages. and Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem—twelve cities with their villages. Included were Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah and Bethlehem. There were twelve towns and their villages.
16 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Zabulon by their kindreds, the cities and their villages. This is the inheritance of the people of Zebulun, according to their clans—these cities with their villages. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of Zebulun, according to its clans.
17 The fourth lot came out to Issachar by their kindreds. The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the people of Issachar, according to their clans. The fourth lot came out for Issachar according to its clans.
18 And his inheritance was Jezrael and Casaloth and Sunem, Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem, Their territory included: Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
19 And Hapharaim and Seen and Anaharath, Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath, Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

23 This is the possession of the sons of Issachar by their kindreds, the cities and their villages. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Issachar, according to their clans—the cities with their villages. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar, according to its clans.
24 And the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the children of Aser by their kindreds: The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the people of Asher according to their clans. The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher according to its clans.
25 And their border was Halcath and Chali and Beten and Axaph, Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph, Their territory included: Helkath, Hali, Beten, Akshaph,
26 And Elmelech and Amaad and Messal: and it reacheth to Carmel by the sea and Sihor and Labanath, Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. On the west it touches Carmel and Shihor-libnath, Allammelek, Amad and Mishal. On the west the boundary touched Carmel and Shihor Libnath.
27 And it returneth towards the east to Bethdagon: and passeth along to Zabulon and to the valley of Jephthael towards the north to Bethemec and Nehiel. And it goeth out to the left side of Cabul, then it turns eastward, it goes to Beth-dagon, and touches Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtahel northward to Beth-emek and Neiel. Then it continues in the north to Cabul, It then turned east toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El, and went north to Beth Emek and Neiel, passing Kabul on the left.
28 And to Abaran and Rohob and Hamon and Cana, as far as the great Sidon. Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, Kanah, as far as Sidon the Great. It went to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.
29 And it returneth to Horma to the strong city of Tyre, and to Hosa: and the outgoings thereof shall be at the sea from the portion of Achziba: Then the boundary turns to Ramah, reaching to the fortified city of Tyre. Then the boundary turns to Hosah, and it ends at the sea; Mahalab, Achzib, The boundary then turned back toward Ramah and went to the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah and came out at the Mediterranean Sea in the region of Akzib,
30 And Amma and Aphec and Rohob: twenty-two cities, and their villages. Ummah, Aphek and Rehob—twenty-two cities with their villages. Ummah, Aphek and Rehob. There were twenty-two towns and their villages.
31 This is the possession of the children of Aser by their kindreds, and the cities and their villages. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Asher according to their clans—these cities with their villages. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Asher, according to its clans.
32 The sixth lot came out to the sons of Nephtali by their families: The sixth lot came out for the people of Naphtali, for the people of Naphtali, according to their clans. The sixth lot came out for Naphtali according to its clans:
33 And the border began from Heleph and Elon to Saananim, and Adami, which is Neceb, and Jebnael even to Lecum: and their outgoings unto the Jordan: And their boundary ran from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, and it ended at the Jordan. Their boundary went from Heleph and the large tree in Zaanannim, passing Adami Nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.
34 And the border returneth westward to Azanotthabor, and goeth out from thence to Hucuca, and passeth along to Zabulon southward, and to Aser westward, and to Juda upon the Jordan towards the rising of the sun. Then the boundary turns westward to Aznoth-tabor and goes from there to Hukkok, touching Zebulun at the south and Asher on the west and Judah on the east at the Jordan. The boundary ran west through Aznoth Tabor and came out at Hukkok. It touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west and the Jordan on the east.
35 And the strong cities are Assedim, Ser, and Emath, and Reccath and Cenereth, The fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth, The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 And Edema and Arama, Asor, Adamah, Ramah, Hazor, Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 And Cedes and Edri, Enhasor, Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor, Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,

40 The seventh lot came out to the tribe of the children of Dan by their families: The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the people of Dan, according to their clans. The seventh lot came out for the tribe of Dan according to its clans.
41 And the border of their possession was Saraa and Esthaol, and Hirsemes, that is, the city of the sun. And the territory of its inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh, The territory of their inheritance included: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,
42 Selebin and Aialon and Jethela, Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah, Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 Elon and Themna and Acron, Elon, Timnah, Ekron, Elon, Timnah, Ekron,

When the territory of the people of Dan was lost to them, the people of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and after capturing it and striking it with the sword they took possession of it and settled in it, calling Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor. (When the territory of the Danites was lost to them, they went up and attacked Leshem, took it, put it to the sword and occupied it. They settled in Leshem and named it Dan after their ancestor.)
48 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their kindreds, the cities and their villages. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Dan, according to their clans—these cities with their villages. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Dan, according to its clans.
49 And when he had made an end of dividing the land by lot to each one by their tribes, the children of Israel gave a possession to Josue the son of Nun in the midst of them, When they had finished distributing the several territories of the land as inheritances, the people of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun. When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,
50 According to the commandment of the Lord, the city which he asked for, Thamnath Saraa, in mount Ephraim: and he built up the city, and dwelt in it. By command of the LORD they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. And he rebuilt the city and settled in it. as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for—Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.
51 These are the possessions which Eleazar the priest, and Josue the son of Nun, and the princes of the families, and of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Silo, before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and they divided the land. These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the people of Israel distributed by lot at Shiloh before the LORD, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. So they finished dividing the land. These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting. And so they finished dividing the land.
