1	Beseleel, therefore, and Ooliab, and every wise man, to whom the Lord gave wisdom and understanding, to know how to work artificially, made the things that are necessary for the uses of the sanctuary, and which the Lord commanded.	“Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whom the LORD has put skill and intelligence to know how to do any work in the construction of the sanctuary shall work in accordance with all that the LORD has commanded.”	So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the LORD has commanded.”
2	And when Moses had called them, and every skilful man, to whom the Lord had given wisdom, and such as of their own accord had offered themselves to the making of the work,	And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the LORD had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work.	Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.
3	He delivered all the offerings of the children of Israel unto them. And while they were earnest about the work, the people daily in the morning offered their vows.	And they received from Moses all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing him freewill offerings every morning,	They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.
4	Whereupon the workmen being constrained to come,	so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing,	So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing
5	Said to Moses: The people offereth more than is necessary.	and said to Moses, “The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the LORD has commanded us to do.”	and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD commanded to be done.”
6	Moses therefore commanded proclamation to be made by the crier's voice: Let neither man nor woman offer any more for the work of the sanctuary. And so they ceased from offering gifts,	So Moses gave command, and word was proclaimed throughout the camp, “Let no man or woman do anything more for the contribution for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing,	Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more,
7	Because the things that were offered did suffice, and were too much.	for the material they had was sufficient to do all the work, and more.	because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.
8	And all the men that were wise of heart, to accomplish the work of the tabernacle, made ten curtains of twisted fine linen, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, with varied work, and the art of embroidering:	And all the craftsmen among the workmen made the tabernacle with ten curtains. They were made of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet yarns, with cherubim skillfully worked.	All those who were skilled among the workers made the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim woven into them by expert hands.
9	The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth four: all the curtains were of the same size.	The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. All the curtains were the same size.	All the curtains were the same size—twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide.
10	And he joined five curtains, one to another, and the other five he coupled one to another.	He coupled five curtains to one another, and the other five curtains he coupled to one another.	They joined five of the curtains together and did the same with the other five.
11	He made also loops of violet in the edge of the curtain on both sides, and in the edge of the other curtain in like manner,	He made loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain of the first set. Likewise he made them on the edge of the outermost curtain of the second set.	Then they made loops of blue material along the edge of the end curtain in one set, and the same was done with the end curtain in the other set.
12	That the loops might meet on against another, and might be joined each with the other.	He made fifty loops on the one curtain, and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was in the second set. The loops were opposite one another.	They also made fifty loops on one curtain and fifty loops on the end curtain of the other set, with the loops opposite each other.
13	Whereupon also he cast fifty rings of gold, that might catch the loops of the curtains, and they might be made one tabernacle.	And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one to the other with clasps. So the tabernacle was a single whole.	Then they made fifty gold clasps and used them to fasten the two sets of curtains together so that the tabernacle was a unit.
14	He made also eleven curtains of goats' hair, to cover the roof of the tabernacle:	He also made curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle. He made eleven curtains.	They made curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle—eleven altogether.
15	One curtain was thirty cubits long and four cubits broad: all the curtains were of one measure.	The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains were the same size.	All eleven curtains were the same size—thirty cubits long and four cubits wide.
16	Five of which he joined apart, and the other six apart.	He coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.	They joined five of the curtains into one set and the other six into another set.
17	And he made fifty loops in the edge of one curtain, and fifty in the edge of another curtain, that they might be joined one to another.	And he made fifty loops on the edge of the outermost curtain of the one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the other connecting curtain.	Then they made fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in one set and also along the edge of the end curtain in the other set.
18	And fifty buckles of brass wherewith the roof might be knit together, that of all the curtains there might be made one covering.	And he made fifty clasps of bronze to couple the tent together that it might be a single whole.	They made fifty bronze clasps to fasten the tent together as a unit.
19	He made also a cover for the tabernacle of rams' skins dyed red: and another cover over that of violet skins.	And he made for the tent a covering of tanned rams’ skins and goatskins.	Then they made for the tent a covering of ram skins dyed red, and over that a covering of the other durable leather.
20	He made also the boards of the tabernacle of setim wood standing.	Then he made the upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood.	They made upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle.
21	The length of one board was ten cubits: and the breadth was one cubit and a half.	Ten cubits was the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame.	Each frame was ten cubits long and a cubit and a half wide,
22	There were two mortises throughout every board, that one might be joined to the other. And in this manner he made for all the boards of the tabernacle.	Each frame had two tenons for fitting together. He did this for all the frames of the tabernacle.	with two projections set parallel to each other. They made all the frames of the tabernacle in this way.
23	Of which twenty were at the south side southward,	The frames for the tabernacle he made thus: twenty frames for the south side.	They made twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle
24	With forty sockets of silver, two sockets were put under one board on the two sides of the corners, where the mortises of the sides end in the corners.	And he made forty bases of silver under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons.	and made forty silver bases to go under them—two bases for each frame, one under each projection.
25	At that side also of the tabernacle, that looketh toward the north, he made twenty boards.	For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, he made twenty frames	For the other side, the north side of the tabernacle, they made twenty frames
26	With forty sockets of silver, two sockets for every board.	and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame and two bases under the next frame.	and forty silver bases—two under each frame.
27	But against the west, to wit, at that side of the tabernacle, which looketh to the sea, he made six boards,	For the rear of the tabernacle westward he made six frames.	They made six frames for the far end, that is, the west end of the tabernacle,
28	And two others at each corner of the tabernacle behind:	He made two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear.	and two frames were made for the corners of the tabernacle at the far end.
29	Which were also joined from beneath unto the top, and went together into one joint. Thus he did on both sides at the corners:	And they were separate beneath but joined at the top, at the first ring. He made two of them this way for the two corners.	At these two corners the frames were double from the bottom all the way to the top and fitted into a single ring; both were made alike.
30	So there were in all eight boards and they had sixteen sockets of silver, to wit, two sockets under every board.	There were eight frames with their bases of silver: sixteen bases, under every frame two bases.	So there were eight frames and sixteen silver bases—two under each frame.
31	He made also bars of setim wood, five to hold together the boards of one side of the tabernacle,	He made bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,	They also made crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames on one side of the tabernacle,
32	And five others to join together the boards of the other side: and besides these, five other bars at the west side of the tabernacle towards the sea.	and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the tabernacle at the rear westward.	five for those on the other side, and five for the frames on the west, at the far end of the tabernacle.
33	He made also another bar, that might come by the midst of the boards from corner to corner.	And he made the middle bar to run from end to end halfway up the frames.	They made the center crossbar so that it extended from end to end at the middle of the frames.
34	And the board works themselves he overlaid with gold, casting for them sockets of silver. And their rings he made of gold, through which the bars might be drawn: and he covered the bars themselves with plates of gold.	And he overlaid the frames with gold, and made their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.	They overlaid the frames with gold and made gold rings to hold the crossbars. They also overlaid the crossbars with gold.
35	He made also a veil of violet, and purple, scarlet, and fine twisted linen, varied and distinguished with embroidery:	He made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; with cherubim skillfully worked into it he made it.	They made the curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim woven into it by a skilled worker.
36	And four pillars of setim wood, which with their heads be overlaid with gold, casting for them sockets of silver.	And for it he made four pillars of acacia and overlaid them with gold. Their hooks were of gold, and he cast for them four bases of silver.	They made four posts of acacia wood for it and overlaid them with gold. They made gold hooks for them and cast their four silver bases.
37	He made also a hanging in the entry of the tabernacle of violet, purple, scarlet, and fine twisted linen, with the work of an embroiderer.	He also made a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework,	For the entrance to the tent they made a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer;
38	And five pillars with their heads, which he covered with gold, and their sockets he cast of brass.	and its five pillars with their hooks. He overlaid their capitals, and their fillets were of gold, but their five bases were of bronze.	and they made five posts with hooks for them. They overlaid the tops of the posts and their bands with gold and made their five bases of bronze.
