| 17Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and sinful enticements that oppose the teaching you have learned. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. |
| 18because such people are not serving the Messiah our Lord, but their own desires. | 19For your obedience has become known to everyone, and I am full of joy for you. I want you to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong. |
