1 Thessalonians 4:13

Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope.

He exhorts them to go forward in all manner of godliness;

to live holily and justly;

to love one another;

and quietly to follow their own business;
13.
and last of all, to sorrow moderately for the dead.
