LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.2O LORD, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O LORD, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.2LORD, I have heard the report about You and I fear. O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.2O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.2 LORD, I have heard the report about You; LORD, I stand in awe of Your deeds. Revive Your work in these years; make it known in these years. In Your wrath remember mercy!
God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth.3God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.3God comes from Teman, And the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His splendor covers the heavens, And the earth is full of His praise.3God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.3God comes from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise.
His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden.4His brightness was like the light; rays flashed from his hand; and there he veiled his power.4His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, And there is the hiding of His power.4And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.4His brilliance is like light; rays are flashing from His hand. This is where His power is hidden.

Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps.5Before him went pestilence, and plague followed at his heels.5Before Him goes pestilence, And plague comes after Him.5Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.5Plague goes before Him, and pestilence follows in His steps.
He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed-- but he marches on forever.6He stood and measured the earth; he looked and shook the nations; then the eternal mountains were scattered; the everlasting hills sank low. His were the everlasting ways.6He stood and surveyed the earth; He looked and startled the nations. Yes, the perpetual mountains were shattered, The ancient hills collapsed. His ways are everlasting.6He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.6He stands and shakes the earth; He looks and startles the nations. The age-old mountains break apart; the ancient hills sink down. His pathways are ancient.
I saw the tents of Cushan in distress, the dwellings of Midian in anguish.7I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.7I saw the tents of Cushan under distress, The tent curtains of the land of Midian were trembling.7I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.7I see the tents of Cushan in distress; the tent curtains of the land of Midian tremble.
Were you angry with the rivers, LORD? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory?8Was your wrath against the rivers, O LORD? Was your anger against the rivers, or your indignation against the sea, when you rode on your horses, on your chariot of salvation?8Did the LORD rage against the rivers, Or was Your anger against the rivers, Or was Your wrath against the sea, That You rode on Your horses, On Your chariots of salvation?8Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?8Are You angry at the rivers, LORD? Is Your wrath against the rivers? Or is Your rage against the sea when You ride on Your horses, Your victorious chariot?
You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows. You split the earth with rivers;9You stripped the sheath from your bow, calling for many arrows. Selah You split the earth with rivers.9Your bow was made bare, The rods of chastisement were sworn. Selah. You cleaved the earth with rivers.9Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.9You took the sheath from Your bow; the arrows are ready to be used with an oath. Selah You split the earth with rivers.

the mountains saw you and writhed. Torrents of water swept by; the deep roared and lifted its waves on high.10The mountains saw you and writhed; the raging waters swept on; the deep gave forth its voice; it lifted its hands on high.10The mountains saw You and quaked; The downpour of waters swept by. The deep uttered forth its voice, It lifted high its hands.10The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.10The mountains see You and shudder; a downpour of water sweeps by. The deep roars with its voice and lifts its waves high.
Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear.11The sun and moon stood still in their place at the light of your arrows as they sped, at the flash of your glittering spear.11Sun and moon stood in their places; They went away at the light of Your arrows, At the radiance of Your gleaming spear.11The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.11Sun and moon stand still in their lofty residence, at the flash of Your flying arrows, at the brightness of Your shining spear.
In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations.12You marched through the earth in fury; you threshed the nations in anger.12In indignation You marched through the earth; In anger You trampled the nations.12Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.12You march across the earth with indignation; You trample down the nations in wrath.
You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot.13You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the house of the wicked, laying him bare from thigh to neck. Selah13You went forth for the salvation of Your people, For the salvation of Your anointed. You struck the head of the house of the evil To lay him open from thigh to neck. Selah.13Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.13You come out to save Your people, to save Your anointed. You crush the leader of the house of the wicked and strip him from foot to neck. Selah
With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding.14You pierced with his own arrows the heads of his warriors, who came like a whirlwind to scatter me, rejoicing as if to devour the poor in secret.14You pierced with his own spears The head of his throngs. They stormed in to scatter us; Their exultation was like those Who devour the oppressed in secret.14Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.14You pierce his head with his own spears; his warriors storm out to scatter us, gloating as if ready to secretly devour the weak.

You trampled the sea with your horses, churning the great waters.15You trampled the sea with your horses, the surging of mighty waters.15You trampled on the sea with Your horses, On the surge of many waters.15Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.15You tread the sea with Your horses, stirring up the great waters.
I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us.16I hear, and my body trembles; my lips quiver at the sound; rottenness enters into my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will quietly wait for the day of trouble to come upon people who invade us.16I heard and my inward parts trembled, At the sound my lips quivered. Decay enters my bones, And in my place I tremble. Because I must wait quietly for the day of distress, For the people to arise who will invade us.16When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.16I heard, and I trembled within; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness entered my bones; I trembled where I stood. Now I must quietly wait for the day of distress to come against the people invading us.

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,17Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,17Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls,17Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:17Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no fruit on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.18yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.18Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.18Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.18yet I will triumph in Yahweh; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!
