and Jason has welcomed them into his home. They are all defying Caesar's decrees, saying there is another king, named Jesus!"
Cross ReferencesLuke 10:38
As they traveled along, Jesus entered a village where a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.
And they began to accuse Him, saying, "We found this man subverting our nation, forbidding payment of taxes to Caesar, and proclaiming Himself to be Christ, a king."
The Jews, however, became jealous. So they brought in some troublemakers from the marketplace, formed a mob, and sent the city into an uproar. They raided Jason's house in search of Paul and Silas, hoping to bring them out to the people.
On hearing this, the crowd and city officials were greatly disturbed.
In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute justified by her actions when she welcomed the messengers and sent them off on another route?
