Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, proclaim a sacred assembly.
Numbers 10:3, 8
When both are sounded, the whole congregation is to assemble before you at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. . . .
Announce in Judah, proclaim in Jerusalem, and say: "Blow the trumpet in the land. Cry aloud and say, 'Assemble yourselves and let us flee to the fortified cities.'
Put the trumpet to your lips! An eagle comes against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed My covenant and rebelled against My law.
1 Chronicles 15:28
So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, with the sounding of ram's horns and trumpets, and with cymbals and the music of harps and lyres.

If a trumpet sounds in a city, will the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?
a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities, and against the high corner towers.
Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, never again to be overrun by foreigners.
His foundation is on the holy mountains.
Daniel 9:16, 20
O Lord, in keeping with all Your righteous acts, I pray that Your anger and wrath may turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy hill; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all around us. . . .
On that day you will not be put to shame for any of the deeds by which you transgress against Me. For then I will remove from among you those who rejoice in their pride, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.
This is what the LORD says: "I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts will be called the Holy Mountain."
Ezra 9:3, 4
When I heard this report, I tore my tunic and cloak, pulled out some hair from my head and beard, and sat down in horror. . . .

Isaiah 66:2, 5
Has not My hand made all these things? And so they came into being, declares the LORD. This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word. . . .
Do you not fear Me? declares the LORD. Do you not tremble before Me, the One who set the sand as the boundary of the sea, an enduring barrier it cannot cross? The waves surge, but they cannot prevail. They roar but cannot cross it.
Jeremiah 16:7, 10
No food will be offered to comfort those who mourn the dead; not even a cup of consolation will be given for the loss of a father or mother. . . .
I hereby decree that in every part of my kingdom, men are to tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion will never end.
Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Alas for the day! For the Day of the LORD is near, and it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
For the Day of the LORD of Hosts will come against all the proud and lofty, against all that is exalted--it will be humbled--
Ezekiel 7:5-7, 10, 12
This is what the Lord GOD says: 'Disaster! An unprecedented disaster--behold, it is coming! . . .
Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: 'I will put an end to this proverb, and in Israel they will no longer recite it.' But say to them: 'The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled.
"Amos, what do you see?" He asked. "A basket of summer fruit, " I replied. So the LORD said to me, "The end has come for My people Israel; I will no longer spare them."
For the Day of the LORD is near for all the nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your recompense will return upon your own head.
"For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, when all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble; the day is coming when I will set them ablaze, " says the LORD of Hosts. "Not a root or branch will be left to them."
1 Thessalonians 5:2
For you are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
You too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord's coming is near.
1 Peter 4:7
The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear-minded and sober, so you can pray.
