The Day of the LORD brings God’s decisive judgment against evil and His restoration of His people. Its fulfillment began with Christ’s first coming and will culminate in His return, when He judges the world and establishes His kingdom in fullness. Jol 2:31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood… And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, Elijah’s ministry will call Israel back to covenant faithfulness, beginning with repentance in the home. Fathers and children, divided by sin, neglect, and unbelief, will be reconciled as families return to the Lord and renew the faith entrusted to them.
