1 I commend unto you our sister Phoebe, being a minister of the church which is in Cenchrea, I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae, I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae.
2 in order that you may receive her in the Lord, worthily of the saints, and that ye may assist her in whatsoever matters she may need you: for she has been a helper of many, and myself. that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.
3 Salute Prisca and Aquila my fellow-laborers in Christ Jesus; Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus.
4 who laid down their neck for my life; and for whom not I alone hut all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks; who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

17 But I exhort you, brethren, to mark those who cause divisions and stumblings, contrary to the teaching which you have learned, and depart from them. I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
18 For such do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own stomach; and through fair speeches and eulogies deceive the hearts of the innocent. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.
19 For your obedience has come abroad unto all men: therefore I rejoice over you, and wish you to be wise in that which is good, and uncompromising towards that which is evil. For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
20 The God of peace will speedily crush Satan beneath your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. 25 To Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been hidden during the eternal times, Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,
26 but having now indeed been made manifest, through the prophetical scriptures, and having been made known to all the Gentiles, according to the commandment of the eternal God, unto the obedience of faith; but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith—
27 to God who alone is wise, through Jesus Christ, to the glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen. to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
