1	תְּפִלָּ֗ה לְדָ֫וִ֥ד הַטֵּֽה־ יְהוָ֣ה אָזְנְךָ֣ עֲנֵ֑נִי כִּֽי־ עָנִ֖י וְאֶבְי֣וֹן אָֽנִי׃	Incline your ear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.	A prayer of David. Hear me, LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2	שָֽׁמְרָ֣ה נַפְשִׁי֮ כִּֽי־ חָסִ֪יד אָ֥נִי הוֹשַׁ֣ע עַ֭בְדְּךָ אַתָּ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֑י הַבּוֹטֵ֥חַ אֵלֶֽיךָ׃	Preserve my life, for I am godly; save your servant, who trusts in you—you are my God.	Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God;
3	חָנֵּ֥נִי אֲדֹנָ֑י כִּ֥י אֵלֶ֥יךָ אֶ֝קְרָ֗א כָּל־ הַיּֽוֹם׃	Be gracious to me, O Lord, for to you do I cry all the day.	have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.
4	שַׂ֭מֵּחַ נֶ֣פֶשׁ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ כִּ֥י אֵלֶ֥יךָ אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃	Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.	Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.
5	כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֣ה אֲ֭דֹנָי ט֣וֹב וְסַלָּ֑ח וְרַב־ חֶ֝֗סֶד לְכָל־ קֹרְאֶֽיךָ׃	For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.	You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.
6	הַאֲזִ֣ינָה יְ֭הוָה תְּפִלָּתִ֑י וְ֝הַקְשִׁ֗יבָה בְּק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנוֹתָֽי׃	Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; listen to my plea for grace.	Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy.
7	בְּי֣וֹם צָ֭רָתִ֥י אֶקְרָאֶ֗ךָּ כִּ֣י תַעֲנֵֽנִי׃	In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me.	When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
8	אֵין־ כָּמ֖וֹךָ בָאֱלֹהִ֥ים ׀ אֲדֹנָ֗י וְאֵ֣ין כְּֽמַעֲשֶֽׂיךָ׃	There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours.	Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.
9	כָּל־ גּוֹיִ֤ם ׀ אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִׂ֗יתָ יָב֤וֹאוּ ׀ וְיִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לְפָנֶ֣יךָ אֲדֹנָ֑י וִֽיכַבְּד֣וּ לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃	All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.	All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name.
10	כִּֽי־ גָד֣וֹל אַ֭תָּה וְעֹשֵׂ֣ה נִפְלָא֑וֹת אַתָּ֖ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃	For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.	For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
11	ה֘וֹרֵ֤נִי יְהוָ֨ה ׀ דַּרְכֶּ֗ךָ אֲהַלֵּ֥ךְ בַּאֲמִתֶּ֑ךָ יַחֵ֥ד לְ֝בָבִ֗י לְיִרְאָ֥ה שְׁמֶֽךָ׃	Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.	Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
12	אוֹדְךָ֤ ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י אֱ֭לֹהַי בְּכָל־ לְבָבִ֑י וַאֲכַבְּדָ֖ה שִׁמְךָ֣ לְעוֹלָֽם׃	I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.	I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
13	כִּֽי־ חַ֭סְדְּךָ גָּד֣וֹל עָלָ֑י וְהִצַּ֥לְתָּ נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י מִשְּׁא֥וֹל תַּחְתִּיָּֽה׃	For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.	For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.
14	אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ זֵ֘דִ֤ים קָֽמוּ־ עָלַ֗י וַעֲדַ֣ת עָ֭רִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י וְלֹ֖א שָׂמ֣וּךָ לְנֶגְדָּֽם׃	O God, insolent men have risen up against me; a band of ruthless men seeks my life, and they do not set you before them.	Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God; ruthless people are trying to kill me— they have no regard for you.
15	וְאַתָּ֣ה אֲ֭דֹנָי אֵל־ רַח֣וּם וְחַנּ֑וּן אֶ֥רֶךְ אַ֝פַּ֗יִם וְרַב־ חֶ֥סֶד וֶאֱמֶֽת׃	But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.	But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
16	פְּנֵ֥ה אֵלַ֗י וְחָ֫נֵּ֥נִי תְּנָֽה־ עֻזְּךָ֥ לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝הוֹשִׁ֗יעָה לְבֶן־ אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃	Turn to me and be gracious to me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your maidservant.	Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did.
17	עֲשֵֽׂה־ עִמִּ֥י א֗וֹת לְט֫וֹבָ֥ה וְיִרְא֣וּ שֹׂנְאַ֣י וְיֵבֹ֑שׁוּ כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֥ה יְ֝הוָ֗ה עֲזַרְתַּ֥נִי וְנִחַמְתָּֽנִי׃	Show me a sign of your favor, that those who hate me may see and be put to shame because you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.	Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
