1 And as He is going forth out of the temple, one of His disciples says to Him, “Teacher, see! What stones! And what buildings!” And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!” As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”
2 And Jesus answering said to him, “See these great buildings? There may not be left a stone on a stone that may not be thrown down.” And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 And as He is sitting at the Mount of Olives, opposite the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, were questioning Him by Himself, And as he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 “Tell us when these things will be? 5 And Jesus answering them, began to say, “Take heed lest anyone may lead you astray, And Jesus began to say to them, “See that no one leads you astray. Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
6 for many will come in My Name, saying, I am [He], and many they will lead astray; Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray. Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many.
7 and when you may hear of wars and reports of wars, do not be troubled, for these ought to be, but the end [is] not yet; And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not yet. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
8 for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles; these [are the] beginning of travails. 9 And take heed to yourselves, for they will deliver you up to Sanhedrins, and to synagogues, you will be beaten, and before governors and kings you will be set for My sake, for a testimony to them; “But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them. “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.
10 and to all the nations it is first necessary that the good news be proclaimed. And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
11 And when they may lead you, delivering up, do not be anxious beforehand what you may speak, nor premeditate, but whatever may be given to you in that hour, that speak, for it is not you who are speaking, but the Holy Spirit. And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12 And brother will deliver up brother to death, and father child, and children will rise up against parents, and will put them to death, And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
13 and you will be hated by all because of My Name, but he who has endured to the end—he will be saved. And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14 And when you may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it should not (whoever is reading let him understand), then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains; “But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
15 and he on the housetop, do not let him come down into the house, nor come in to take anything out of his house; Let the one who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter his house, to take anything out, Let no one on the housetop go down or enter the house to take anything out.
16 and he who is in the field, do not let him turn to the things behind, to take up his garment. and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.
17 And woe to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
18 and pray that your flight may not be in winter, Pray that it may not happen in winter. Pray that this will not take place in winter,
19 for those days will be tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created, until now, and may not be [again]; For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.
20 and if the LORD did not shorten the days, no flesh had been saved; but because of the chosen, whom He chose to Himself, He shortened the days. And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.
21 And then, if any may say to you, Behold, here [is] the Christ, or, Behold, there, you may not believe; And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.
22 for there will rise false Christs and false prophets, and they will give signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, also the chosen; For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
23 and you, take heed; behold, I have foretold you all things. But be on guard; I have told you all things beforehand. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, “But in those days, following that distress, “’the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;

30 Truly I say to you that this generation may not pass away until all these things may come to pass; Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
31 the heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
32 And concerning that day and the hour no one has known—not even the messengers who are in Heaven, not even the Son—except the Father. “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
33 Take heed, watch and pray, for you have not known when the time is; Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.
34 as a man who is gone abroad, having left his house, and given to his servants the authority, and to each one his work, also commanded the doorkeeper that he may watch; It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
35 watch, therefore, for you have not known when the lord of the house comes, at evening, or at midnight, or at rooster-crowing, or at the morning; Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.
36 lest, having come suddenly, he may find you sleeping; lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping.
37 and what I say to you, I say to all, Watch!” And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.” What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’”
