And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!” As He was going out of the temple complex, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!” And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! As He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look! What wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!”
And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left here on another that will not be thrown down!” And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”
And as he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, While He was sitting on the Mount of Olives across from the temple complex, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately, “ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew were questioning Him privately,
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?” Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when all these things are about to take place?” Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? “Tell us, when will these things come about, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?”
And Jesus began to say to them, “See that no one leads you astray. Then Jesus began by telling them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: And Jesus began to say to them, “See to it that no one misleads you.
Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray. Many will come in My name, saying, I am He,’ and they will deceive many. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ and they will mislead many.
And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not yet. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be alarmed; these things must take place, but the end is not yet. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines. These things are only the beginning of birth pains.
“But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them. “But you, be on your guard! They will hand you over to sanhedrins, and you will be flogged in the synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings because of Me, as a witness to them. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. “But be on your guard; for they will hand you over to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.
And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations. And the good news must first be proclaimed to all nations. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. So when they arrest you and hand you over, don’t worry beforehand what you will say. On the contrary, whatever is given to you in that hour—say it. For it isn’t you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. And when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit.
And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. Then brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise up against parents and put them to death. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.
And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And you will be hated by everyone because of My name. But the one who endures to the end will be delivered. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.
“But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. “When you see the abomination that causes desolation standing where it should not” (let the reader understand), “then those in Judea must flee to the mountains! But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: “Now when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be—let the reader understand—then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.
Let the one who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter his house, to take anything out, A man on the housetop must not come down or go in to get anything out of his house. And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: Whoever is on the housetop must not go down, nor go in to get anything out of his house.
and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. And a man in the field must not go back to get his clothes. And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. And whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.
And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days! But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But woe to those women who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
Pray that it may not happen in winter. Pray it won’t happen in winter. And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. Moreover, pray that it will not happen in winter.
For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of the world, which God created, until now and never will be again! For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. For those days will be such a time of tribulation as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will again.
And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. Unless the Lord limited those days, no one would survive. But He limited those days because of the elect, whom He chose. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. “Then if anyone tells you, Look, here is the Messiah! Look—there!’ do not believe it! And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Look, there He is’; do not believe it;
For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and will perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the elect. For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. for false christs and false prophets will arise, and will provide signs and wonders, in order to mislead, if possible, the elect.
But be on guard; I have told you all things beforehand. And you must watch! I have told you everything in advance. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But beware; I have told you everything in advance.
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, “But in those days, after that tribulation: The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light; But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, “But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT,
and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. the stars will be falling from the sky, and the celestial powers will be shaken. And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory.
And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. He will send out the angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of the sky. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven.
“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. “Learn this parable from the fig tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near.
So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. In the same way, when you see these things happening, know that He is near—at the door! So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. So you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. I assure you: This generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. “Now concerning that day or hour no one knows—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son—except the Father. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. Watch! Be alert! For you don’t know when the time is coming. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. “Watch out, stay alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is.
It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. It is like a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his slaves, gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay alert.
Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— Therefore be alert, since you don’t know when the master of the house is coming—whether in the evening or at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early in the morning. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Therefore, stay alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—
lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. Otherwise, he might come suddenly and find you sleeping. Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. so that he does not come suddenly and find you asleep.
And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.” And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Be alert!” And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. What I say to you I say to all: ‘Stay alert!’”
